Well, let me start off by saying that this by far has to be the worst jersey Mike's that I have been to yet. Came in with my son to order three subs and it was two people inline in front of me ,and about seven employees behind the counter as I placed my order, I watched the girl slice the meat and she barely put anything on my sandwich, but I thought let me see if this improves Well guess what it did not. I had to repeat myself over and over to as what I wanted on my sandwich and it was a pretty simple task, but it was obvious that the two people making my sandwich were new and obviously going through training because the other employees had an eye on them no big deal, but let's get this right. These were the most scarce skinniest and worst jersey Mike's sandwich that I've ever had!! I had to repeat myself over and over about what I wanted on my sandwich and guess what when I got home it still didn't have it. They forgot the oil and vinegar that I asked for on the side they forgot the mayo on my wife's sandwich which changes things .I didn't take a picture, but if you've seen the amount of meat on my giant sub, it was laughable. I even questioned the amount of bacon that went onto my sandwich because it looked like they put two strips and they broke them up, but the girl assured me oh I seen her put four on it but believe me it was not four pieces of bacon, not even close. The service here is above and beyond. After some unexpected expenses, my wife and I were trying to figure out where we could eat. We had Jersey Mike's Shore Points. Enough for a Giant Sub. It turns out, as of September 1st, Jersey Mikes Shore Points were having nationwide outages, and the system had trouble redeeming our points. My wife and I were really embarrassed, because we couldn't pay. The whole reason we went to Jersey Mikes was because we had a free sub. The staff recognized what was going on really quickly and helped us pay for our meal so that we could eat dinner for the night. Thanks Jersey Mikes. Ordered two sandwiches online so I could pick them up during my lunch break. I arrived at the time they said online that the sandwiches would be ready but when I got to the store they hadn't even started in them. The guy at the counter checked the ticket order and said they be done soon, the problem was mine was the last ticket and it looked like there were several orders ahead of mine. I had to get back to work so I cancelled the order. Straight out stinks even tho the store looks to be clean, what is that smell! You can't even smell the fresh bread or onions. The staff were some kids though, so maybe don't have such high expectations for their service, lol. I ordered the big kahuna and original italian. Both were fantastic. Felt like having a philly cheesesteak and my usual places don't have them on the menu and a sandwich shop I used to frequent closed long ago, so I gave Jersey Mike's a shot. Small shop and still busy even though it was after 1pm. Guy that took my order was most likely new because he kept glancing at the menu (tip: you might want to have a laminated "quick assembly" guide behind the counter). Looks like they cater to pick up/take out orders because they only have four or five tables. Someone didn't pick up their brownie, so an attendant gave it to me. Score! They have so many options it was hard to pick so we asked our server Manny. He was so knowledgeable about the sandwiches n gave us all the options n helped us pick out 2 great sandwiches. Great choices Manny. Such a kind human being. Great customer service. We got: #26, Bacon, ranch, chicken, cheese steak: with lettuce, tomato, onions, cucumber and all the oils n sauces. Delicious!!! The sandwich was warm n the parmesan crusted bread was crispy on the outside n soft on the inside. We also added jalepenos. Let's start with what was good. Helpful employees, nice looking condiments and no line. I walked in to an almost empty restaurant. There was one person ordering and another employee came out of the back and offered to get my order started. I was offered a choice of bread and I picked wheat. The employee grabed a full loaf and, on a cutting board, cut it in half for my regular sandwich and then sliced the half horizontally to create the top and bottom. So far so good. Now let's share what did not go so well. The employee then grabbed the halves from the cutting board and placed both halves on the rear counter that looked like it had not been wiped for several sandwiches. No cutting board, no paperliner, only what looked like a dirty counter. He grabbed a tray of tuna mix, set it on the dirty counter and scooped tuna onto one half. I wonder how a vegetarian would feel. He then moved both halves of my sandwich back to the cutting board and let another employee finish assembling my sandwich. I was still a little grossed out from the initial dirty counter but a third employee greated me at the cash register as my sandwich was wrapped. I started to pay and felt the need to say something. Being I have worked in the restaurant industry most of my life, I felt I should voice my concern. I asked who the manager on duty was and the women who finished my sandwich and they man that was ringing me up both pointed to the man that started my sandwich. I started to back away from sharing my opinion and the man behind the cash register encouraged me to comment. I shared my concern with the what looked like a dirty counter top my sandwich was started on and was told that was just remanents from another sandwich, they said probably chicken salad. I asked if that looked clean to them because it was not wiped before making my sandwich nor after, and the remnants from previous sandwiches still littered the dirty counter. They both looked confused but by now the man / manager did not comment but smirked without looking my direction. I saw his expression and said, "I knew I should not have shared my concern". I left the restaurant disgusted and slightly perturbed. Now I know why the restaurant was empty. As a side note, and not the employees fault, the tuna was very bland with no flavor. I nibbled at half of my sandwich and threw the remainder out. I thought I should share as someone might care...obviously not the manager on duty. read more

I've been to many, and had my fare share of JM's sandwiches, I wish I could video the employee's working at this location, ha...with one person in front of me in line, it must've took 15 minutes to get 3 sandwiches made, ha.. what a joke! I'll give credit to the one employee who sliced up the meat&cheese for doing her part, but the other two who were just talking in the back room or just walking around like zombies... terrible!! can you imagine if we (customers) had spoken up and told them.. "what are you guys waiting for, why aren't you two helping and making the sandwiches"... god forbid you give some corrective criticism, I'm sure I would end up getting the stink eye for speaking out, or maybe a lackluster attempt at making my sandwich, ha.. All these employees barely communicated, lacked any warmth at welcome or even spoke to customers in the sandwich making process... maybe this is just one of those times, I stumbled in at the wrong place at the wrong time... it was horrible!! No life or energy at this place, zero hospitality and care for the customer experience!! Bad Attitude! Not worth coming back! My family thought it would a great idea to have sandwiches for lunch today. I walked in around 1:40pm today. I started to order my sandwiches. 1st. I ordered a giant number #8. The female sandwich maker who did not want to give her name. Started to make the sandwich. Asked me what kind of bread I wanted. Started to throw the meat on the sandwich. Then she put it on the white cutting table. There were other sandwiches being prepared. The white cutting board was not cleared of the other sandwiches. It had lettuce, tomato onions, and Mike's way vinegar sauce on the white cutting board where she put my sandwich. The sandwich I was ordering was for kids who don't want any of that. I explained to the second female that I wanted it made special. My kids don't like that crap that was sitting in on the white cutting board leeching into their sandwiches. The lady that was in charge started to say I'm jamming them up and I have to have it made their way. (Jersey Mikes Way) Not the customers way. I asked her what's with the attitude. She told me she has no attitude. There is only one person behind me who jumped in front of me because this lady didn't want to deal with me anymore. I should've just walked out and left, but I stayed. I had the second lady complete my sandwich. All the kids wanted on their sandwich was mayonnaise, mustard, bacon, meat, and cheese. How hard is it to make that sandwich? The lady in charge has a real bad attitude. Once again she would not give me her name. She told me she's not in sales and doesn't have to have good customer service. She told me she was a sandwich maker only. All I do is make sandwiches. What about upgrading to chips and a drink? Increase the dollar amount per ticket/receipt. I was in sales for over 30 years. I was always told to think like an owner. Always Increase your receipts. Cross sale. This will be my last time ever coming to this location. You would've thought with employees getting $20 an hour. You could hire a better staff. If you don't hire sales people. How are you supposed to sell chips and sodas, a.k.a. combos? How are you supposed to make rent? Somebody needs a coaching session big time. With the problems I had at the Traffic Circle location I thought I would try another store. I love Jersey Mike's but after this I might take a break and find a new sandwich shop. The employees at this location had no rush even thought it was the busy lunch time. Again, they put off their customers in line to work on orders coming in online. Finally placed my order and they were so backed up they pushed us through the line, was quickly able to say MIKES WAY, before I had to pay and stand to the side to wait for my sandwich. 10 minutes later got my sandwich and left. When I got home I realized they didn't put the signature oil and vinegar on the sandwich and the break was stale. It was the hardest sandwich to eat, spent $16 on! Felt completely ripped off and not going back to that location. For a customer who loved to walk into any Jersey Mike's location I now don't want to eat at any and it's more of a hassle. I've had Jersey Mike's cold subs several times in the past at various lunchtime events, and they were just alright even with condiments. However, when I noticed that Jersey Mike's did hot subs as well (which I very much prefer over the cold subs), I knew I had to get one. The question was, which hot sub to pick? There were a handful! Jersey Mike's is generally more expensive than Subway, but the quality of their sandwiches is better than that of the underground railroad. Having had a Subway sandwich at a pot luck just 11 days prior to visiting the Jersey Mike's just south of Long Beach Exchange, I can safely say I wish that were a Jersey Mike's sandwich instead. While they are not the best sandwiches, they're one of the better ones out there. Admittedly, I don't consider myself a sandwich person by any means, so my opinion may contradict those of the true sandwich connoisseurs. Still, I've had my fair share of sub sandwiches in the past, and I can safely say that Jersey Mike's makes a good mean pipin' hot sandwich...literally! I stopped by on a Monday morning at 11:10 AM wanting a cheese steak. Only question is: what kind? I perused the hot subs menu on www.jerseymikes.com and was surprised to see that 2/3 of the cheese steak sandwiches were actually chicken. Huh? Makes me wonder how denizens from the City of Brotherly Love would react. In any event, since I prefer beef over chicken, that narrowed my choices down to Mike's Famous Philly, Chipotle Cheese Steak, and the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak. The Chipotle Cheese Steak was essentially Mike's Famous Philly, but with Chipotle Mayo whereas the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak also had mushrooms, jalapeños, and even more white American cheese. The winner? Big Kahuna Cheese Steak! After all, they say, "Go big or go home", right??? I also noticed a Yelp check-in offer for a free cookie. The cashier had a hard time applying the offer to my order, but was able to do it. There were large cookies, and there were small cookies by the cashier. For obvious reasons, I was hoping the free cookie was the large one, but alas it was the small one, which there were only a few of left at the time I visited. Oh well. It was about a 10 to 15 minute wait before my name was called. I actually decided to order my sandwich to go before I realized how empty the interior was. My sandwich was presented inside an elongated paper bag similar to a bag of French bread you'd see at a supermarket. Inside the bag was the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak underneath a wrapper. When I opened the wrapper, I was amazed at how smokin' hot the sandwich was! In fact, it felt so hot I didn't want to hold the sandwich with my bare hands! I had to use the wrapper so as to not run the risk of dropping my sandwich on the floor! How was the sandwich? De to the lish! The ooey gooey melted cheese, which I experienced in every bite, really stole the show! Everything else was cooked very nicely, but I didn't taste as much of the peppers and onions as I had hoped for some reason. The rosemary parmesan bread made up for that; having had so much white and wheat bread in the past, the rosemary parmesan stimulated my taste buds with every bite I took. I also went with a Stubborn Agave Vanilla Cream Soda. Loved it! It was such a nice deviation from the other traditional brands like Mountain Dew and Pepsi. As a fan of vanilla, I can safely say that if the vanilla cream soda is an option at any soda dispenser, I'm almost certainly going to pick it! I decided to save my cookie for later, so I placed it in the sandwich bag and returned to work. A co-worker noticed I went to Jersey Mike's for lunch and asked what sandwich I had in my hand. I told him I had something delicious in the bag...a Jersey Mike's chocolate chip cookie! And it was a pretty good one too! While the sandwich didn't exactly 5-star wow me, I was overall impressed and satisfied with the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak. Next time I go to a Jersey Mike's be it Long Beach or otherwise, I'll have to try the chicken cheese steak to see how it compares! read more

My husband went in there at 11:30am almost an hour he was in the line. That was bad though. When he came home turkey sandwich was saggy. What happened to ur crew s or staffs? Theyre all new people? Visited this location while traveling out of town. Horrible customer service. 3 employees standing behind the counter doing nothing and it took a bit for someone to ask if I needed help. They were not busy, there was no one else in line. The girl making the sandwich was lazy and rude. She did not put complete slices of cheese on the sandwiches' and also did not put the "normal" amount of meats on the sandwich. #13. When I pointed out that the slices were about 1/4 of the normal slice of cheese, she said she would another slice but would have to charge me extra and the cheese only needed to cover the bread. The sandwich did NOT taste anything like the sandwiches we have had at another location, not all the meat was put on the sandwich. Thank goodness this location was not our first time at Jersey Mikes because had it been our first time trying it, we would have never tried it again at stuck with the "competitor". I went to another location today and asked them if JM's offer senior discounts, and they said yes it you ask. I was also told all the Jersey Mike's should be the same. This location in CA said we do not give senior discounts. I told her I would never come back even though they are within walking distance of a hotel we stay at in CA regularly and I told her we would drive to another location rather than come back to that location. I also filled out an online feedback on the app and no one ever responded so obviously they could care less. Bad owner = bad employee attitudes!!!! What a ripoff. The prices keep going up and the sandwiches keep getting more and more sparse. I watched as they sliced 3 ultra thin slices of cheese. Who do they think they are fooling?
