I couldn't tell you the last time I've been to a Denny's. Probably 10 years ago? Or more. I used to go all the time growing up and we've all been there late at night with friends I saw it and immediately pulled over (in their private parking lot) While in the parking lot I also checked out their website to see what you get for signing up for their club. They have a few different deals, but I went with the one free item deal. (I ended up picking the mozzarella sticks) I walked in and was immediately greeted by, Geise. I had to get the spelling of her name. I didn't want to butcher it. Geise was absolutely amazing. She asked how our day was going and etc. But, it wasn't just how she treated us. I watched her seat others and how kind she was. She acted as if she personally knew everyone. Asking about their health, their family and small talk about the weather. I'm sure they get a lot of regulars. When I think of Dennys I think of an older crowd who come in often. The way she treated everyone with her bubbly personality really touched me Veronica, was our waitress. She helped me with getting the free item for signing up on their website I ordered a couple other items and they all came out at once. They all came out VERY fast And it all tasted exactly how I remembered it. It was extremely nostalgic lol The place is very clean inside They do have new fall items I honestly wouldn't usually do a review for Dennys (just a regular chain restaurant) however, after seeing how sweet Veronica and Geise were to all the guests? I had to. They both were checking on the customers and calling them sweet pet names like honey and again asking about their day. They both deserve 10 stars They are also advertising their new Cloud Frappés. 3 different coffee kinds made with cold brew Fall fest menu And they have new floats. Root beer cloud float and an orange cream one Only thing I don't like.. I don't like that they have the calories on the menu lol. But, it is something that's really helpful to some. Personally if I'm eating at a restaurant I do not want to know lol PS- you can't beat comfort / nostalgic food being open really late too for when those cravings hit. Love Denny's but this one hits different! Customer service is always exceptional, while providing a great dine in experience! Our waitress Zaira was the BEST!! This location has been upgraded since the last time I've visited. Ambiance is welcoming, and nostalgic. My breakfast was hot, cooked well, and fulfilled every taste bud! I ordered the Santa Fe Skillet, Strawberry/banana pancakes with whipped cream, chicken fried steak breakfast. No way I ate all of this, but great for lunch later. LOVE DENNY's!!! read more

I Visited Denny's in Lakewood for a quick meal after shopping on 05/07/26. The breakfast was good as well as the Boneless Buffalo Wings. The Creamy Mac n Cheese was not so good. I do not recommend it. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant has good customer service, is very clean and has plenty of parking. The restaurant sits adjacent from Kohls. There is a Super Walmart across the street for shopping after enjoying a meal. I recommend this Denny's location. read more

Bro this dennys is the best dennys ever what the heck. I came in at 1 am after prom and the staff was super nice and active. The food like we had food at the venue so we're not starving either. The zesty nachos HIT everytime at dennys but this place loaded us upppp. Honestly there's a lot more food items that we got because we're a large group of people and all the food was good like... how... I was definitely not expected it because the Dennys near my house is the one close to Union Station and that place is kind of incomparable to here. It's literally noob vs hacker. I'm being so fr too, this ain't no bullshit review in the moment like I'm writing this 3 weeks after and I can still remember that it tasted good. I ordered a cobb salad for delivery and it arrived and I'm poking around at it with my fork saying where's the chicken where's the chicken and there is no chicken. I called the store and I said hey I got my salad and it has no chicken and she said what did you order and I said a cob and she said well you have to order chicken on the Cobb I said are you kidding me! And I hung up! I looked at the menu and sure enough there was section on there for chicken and you could get two types of chicken. We waited 10 min for a server to be in the front , when I finally got the attention of someone, she told us that it would be a 30 min wait because they have ONE PARTY of 30 people, mind you that's literally the only party in the restaurant. I guess it's because it's a dinner that's available throughout the city, we take it for granted that they should provide acceptable service, food and ambiance that we have come to expect. Today was truly a wonderful experience, and it was all made possible by our server, Gloria L. Gloria took service to a level up and above what one would expect. Gloria never missed a beat. She made us feel like a true guest, sweet, funny, courteous. Just went in to have a breakfast it is a serious rip off - ordered an All American Slam (says are you hungry) for $17.99 it was smaller than a regular slam with panckakes for half the price - the hash browns were very small - 3 eggs, two bacon, two sausages - ordered gravy and biscuts on the side - - didnt get the toast, at least it would have been a filler - got one small biscut with no taste milk gravy (no sauage, nothing) just plain milk gravy had to add salt for some type of flavor - the hash browns looked like a kids meal! - So I paid ten extra bucks for one egg, and two pieces of sausage - it was disgusting for the price they charged and amount of food given - the coffe cups are so small two drinks and gone! - I have never been in a Dennys like this ever and will never go back to this location it is a rip off! Everything was going well. We ordered food and it came hot. What could have gone wrong? The next day was miserable. I had such gastrointestinal distress. I thought it might have been something else. 2.5 stars max What can you really expect from Dennys? Dennys is always a good choice when it comes to having an actual meal at any hours during the day. Unfortunately with the pandemic, they changed their hours at this location from 6am-12 midnight. I have been using their app lately while ordering for curbside pickup. Today I had a rather annoying experience. I ordered my breakfast an hour before I got off my night shift at the hospital at 630am for it to be ready at 730am. By the time I got to this location, I called to let them know I was here for a curbside pick up and the guy who answered the phone said he was too busy to come outside and for me to come in and get it. So I thought my food would be ready at the counter for me if I walked in, however; no one was at the front counter to greet me with my food. This was annoying for multiple reasons. I had to wait to get the attention of someone to flag them down to get my food. I had to come inside when I have been in contact with covid patients all day. Yes I wore a mask and wore proper PPEs. But I'm still in the same scrubs and now I am outside in a business with them on before getting home and showering. That's why I wanted to do curbside cos it would've been contactless and they could've placed it in my backseat with no issues. When I got home, I noticed that there were no sauces, napkins, or utensils in the bag either. It's like when they don't do one thing, they continue to not do other things correctly. SLOWWWWW business! We walked in around 10:45 pm. There were a few seated parties, but no wait. Well, that is until the waitress/cashier closed out someone before us, which had issues, then answered 2 phone calls. Now, typically I wouldn't be annoyed, but wait for it. We were seated after a short wait. ALL but 2 tables (and now ours) cleared out. We hadn't even been asked our drink orders. It took a good 15 minutes before those orders were taken. We snuck in our food orders as we'd been waiting. Another 10 minutes before our drinks came out. And then another probably 20-30 minutes before our FOOD came out. We also had to wait longer for our queso, pancakes, and toast. Our omelette's veggies were hella over cooked and just gross at that point. Note their "American cheese" is SLICED CHEESE. Our steak was over well done when we ordered medium, so it was like chewing cardboard. My pancakes had not 1, but 2 hairs in them. It took another 20!! 20 damn minutes in a now empty restaurant for my pancakes! To top it off, we were charged for the replacement pancakes, and toast, that came with my meal. f*ck this place!
