The self fixing area is a little tight and as you might have experienced Starbucks guest are not the most pleasant and sharing creatures on this planet. This can get into an elbow shoving match resembling a hockey game. Take an action to change this label and be kind to others. There is one thing going on at this location is the private conference room near the back. Most of the time it is open to the public. If you want to reserve the room call it the manager first. read more

Dear Corporate Starbucks, I was told by the local Benicia starbucks staff that "the temperature in the free meeting room is controlled by corporate." First thank you for availing this room to begin with, but there's got to be a way for the freezing temperature, super waste of AC energy to be controlled by a local store. Tyler made me the best white chocolate mocha i've ever had today! He was super quick and very polite the whole time, making lighthearted conversation. Service here is quick and the drink quality is always really good, maybe the best in the Vallejo/Benicia area. Employees are nice and it's clean inside and out! Would definitely recommend! read more

I'm annoyed. I wanted to study at Starbucks today because of the lack of free internet, which I thought would allow me to focus on bio. So, because I had no Internet, I wrote my review using Word. This is what I wrote when we got there: I like this Starbucks. It's pretty huge, big windows on two walls, and the areas are separated between the armchair / lounge-y side and the serious / study table side. There's even a little bar area so we can get to know our baristas, one of whom I didn't feel all that confident with. I guess decor and service are all one can really review with Starbucks, so I'll stop there. ---------------------------------------------------- Obviously, I thought I was done. But I'm back home an hour later. This is my addendum: As I sit here trying to study, I'm finding that a lot about this Starbucks is annoying me. I personally like this location than the Southampton location because of the larger interior and outdoor seating that is not swamped with piles of children waiting for their parents to pick them up in the strip mall. Lots of tables to sit at and I like the bench seating that allows for more comfort when settling in with a laptop. Staff have been pleasant and quick with my orders. Then again, an iced americano grande is probably the easiest order they are getting with the magnitude of frappucinos running out the door. read more

I'm no coffee expert, but I'm not the biggest fan of Starbucks brew anyway. However, their teas are very good. What I am reviewing is this location. This Starbucks (one of four in Benicia alone) is the best for getting your study on. A personal win is when you get there at a time when the giant wooden farm-style table is vacant. It's never too noisy, or crowded, although they can get a little crazy with the air conditioning from time to time. Also, if you're hanging out for a bit order "for here" so you can do your part in being a bit more Eco-friendly :) they give you a real cup and you look way cooler. read more

Just a regular Starbucks. Nothing special. The staff are just more robotic than most locations. This one is a bit more busier than the other Benicia locations as it is located downtown. Fair amount of seating, but it is taken up by people who sit for hours after their drink has been finished. I can say that I'm happy this Starbucks has not covered their outlets like most high traffic Starbucks do. read more

I go to Starbucks on battery street in San Francisco every workday morning. The baristas there are amazing. I wish I could say that for my hometown Starbucks. I am not greeted with much more than a what do you want, and if it hadn't of been for the sweet lady waiting on her coffee drink, I wouldn't have known mine was up. It's a hot drink, and well, be nice of you put a little wrapper on the hot cup before you set it out. This is the work that each employee chooses. If you don't like your job, find a new one. I have had the worst day... because I knew I'd lose my mind if I'd stay home for one more second, I decided to take the furry kids down to the Benicia waterfront (which I hardly ever do).. I also decided to stop by this Starbucks... I told Annabel I was having the worst day and just needed someone else to make just one good decision for me. Ally and Shia both helped with recommendations and I took them up on each one. Since I vented to Annabel about this disastrous day, when I was ready to pay she said my coffee was on the house... I started crying! I felt so loved by a complete stranger and was just shocked that someone could be so kind when it was needed the most.. it's hard to find family or loved ones willing to do that!!! Then!! Annabel asked if I wanted a hug... she's amazing.. Shia is amazing. Ally is amazing. I won't be going to this Starbucks again, shame too cause I live downtown. Now I will be going to the stand in Safeway or driving over to Southampton. The staff is beyond rude, and poorly trained. I recently ordered a nonfat Caramel Macchiato, when I tasted something was clearly wrong! Tasted like old/cold espresso with old steam milk. When I went to the front to ask for a new one. The cashier had the audacity to tell me that the barista "knows what he's doing, he's worked here for 5 years". Then informed me that it probably tasted that way cause I had nonfat milk! Well I finally got my new one, which again tasted like crap but didn't have the patience to deal anymore. Went to Safeway where those lovely girls made me a new one free of charge! Disclaimer: I've lived in Benicia for 6 years, never seen this barista before. Also, be careful who you're educating. The staff here is always friendly and super patient. As a student, I often find myself in coffee shops for long periods of time. Whenever I come home, about once a week, I always find myself here due to the welcoming and consistent atmosphere. From what I have seen, everyone working here is super friendly. I know some of them since I went to high school with them. However, there are two people in particular who have always taken customer above and beyond, so super props to Christina and Jerred(I believe that's right)! Thank's for everything! read more

I come here when I don't want to go to Safeway and hassle with parking there. But it takes forever here sometimes. Okay it depends. I don't want to put everyone down. It's off and on, I get good and bad service sometimes. But I do remember one time I was waiting in line and the workers there were chatting, laughing, with each other and there were like 5 of them back there. I didn't understand why I was waiting so long. I even had enough time to check in to the place with my very slow 3G Iphone. The Yelp app took forever to load and search for that Starbucks location. (My Iphone's fault) Then by the time I ordered my phone, I was done checking in and already updating my Facebook status complaining about how long I was waiting. LOL read more

This Starbucks is a pleasant community hub for locals reading, studying, meeting, and socializing. Noise level varies throughout the day, but it's pretty much a place where lots of conversations take place. The baristas pretty much create my drink perfectly each time. Three words; BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE OK first if all Starbucks coffee disgusting compared to quality coffee at smaller coffee shops, but that/s just a matter of opinion. Before my eyes were opened to real coffee I would only go to Starbucks because there are so damn many (4 in an extremely tiny town.) but when I did come to this Starbucks I left unsatisfied. 80% of the employees I have dealt with have been rude and sometimes even stuck up. Today was the free red cup day and it was packed! Despite the irritated and sometimes rude comments, the associates all handled themselves with such calm and grace! I ordered on the app and arrived about 8am and I thought a riot was going to break out when the barista said there was only one sleeve of red cups left. The gentleman calling out names was fun and talked to everyone the entire time to let us know that they were doing their best and everyone would get their drink as soon as possible. I should've gotten his name but it was before I'd had my caffeine so my brain wasn't firing fully yet. He was incredible and absolutely kept the mood light for a crowd of under caffeinated people! Everyone working today deserves major props as the tickets were never ending but they kept smiling and making drinks! Amazing work today as usual! Not only were they painfully slow, they gave me the wrong drink and when I attempted to recitfy the problem, the barista walked away from me. I'm actually surprised that this Starbucks got such a low rating. This specific location is in a nice area, has a good staff, and the actual building has outdoor seating, spacious interior, and even a meeting room and coffee bar. Of courage if you aren't a fan of Starbucks coffee, that is one thing, but the actual shop is really actually very nice. I suppose the only fault I could really find with it is that the bathrooms aren't the most well kept. I really enjoyed it. Highly recommend it for all those who enjoy Starbucks and want a great place to come and relax with a cup of coffee. read more

They always make my drink right unlike some of the other stores in the area that are in a rush and cut corners. Generally friendly staff. Always lovely service and warm baristas. The lines can get a little long, but only because everyone needs there coffee! Drinks are always well made, I usually ordered a grande matcha green tea with heavy cream, and it always came out amazing! So much for the comfortable seating and homey atmosphere. The remodeling is done and it looks & feels like a kindergarten classroom. From the mural on the wall and the round wooden tables with the tiny chairs I thought the bell for recess would be ringing soon. Kinda dirty inside, too busy, and no drive through. If you want Starbucks, this place is pretty ok. Not great, not bad, just average. I feel like a lot of the workers are there just to make some money and don't care much about the customers, but if you just want to get your coffee and get out, I recommend this location. I'm not a jogger who stands in line at 9am to get a Venti Ice Water with a hot sleeve. I'm not the guy who brings a van full of children to practice their ordering skills. I am the guy who comes in at 5am and works 12-16hrs a day, 4-7 days a week. I order COFFEE and this Starbucks gets it right. That's all I ask. And I think that's why I see so many regulars here, same time, same place. There are new employees here often, but they catch on quick and get my order right 99% of the time. read more
