Very friendly local coffee shop that roasts their own beans! They had a remodel a couple months ago and the place looks fantastic. The vibe is super chill, with locals stashed at their corner, but there's plenty more room for sitting. They get Noah's bagels for their bagels, and have some burritos made by a local vendor. The owner Sam is super chill, ask him about why it's called Rrags! OH and the reason why I come here so often other than because it's a local coffee shop and everyone should be supporting local businesses is that they are the ONLY spot in Benicia that makes a Vietnamese coffee fantastically. 4++ Small cafe located in Benicia in an area where there are a few strip malls and eateries. This café does mostly breakfast and lunch. I think actually that's all they do. The folks here are very friendly and helpful. Came here for lunch and got a sandwich and a coffee. It was my first time in the person behind the camera was pretty helpful. The menu is more of a build your own sandwich type thing for lunch so I just picked a turkey on marble rye with a bunch of veggies. The space itself has a good amount of seating. There's also plenty of parking outside. It could get busy though. read more

So much potential but a bit of a disappointment. The decor is kinda nice but it could use some help. The big machine in the middle is cool and all, but it's pretty misplaced and ultimately diminished the ambiance as cleaning products, including a toilet brush, are occasionally left on display. Skip the food. It's all overpriced and packaged from somewhere else. The drinks are good though. Our favorites are the frappucinos and smoothies. Maybe they were having a bad day. ‍ Super slow. Only 2 people working when I got there, 2 more showed up in the 30 minutes I waited for my mediocre, at best, breakfast. They sure don't make the bagels there but they sell them, so they can take the scrutiny. I had an everything bagel that was certainly missing something. Every ingredient in the breakfast sandwich taste like it was made with the 2nd cheapest item from the catalog. The lox bagel was lacking on all levels. The coffee was decent. Cane after work and got an iced mango matcha and a raspberry tart. I liked the dessert, it was sweet and tart, which I loved. The mango matcha was something that the staff hasn't done before and I wish it had a little more mango syrup. The place was so cute and I loved the coffee wall. read more

This was a pleasant experience! I stopped by to get coffee and food after seeing this place pop up as a suggestion. I ordered a Lox bagel and iced black and white latte for myself, a breakfast sandwich for my Grandmother and an iced honey lavender oat latte for my sister. We loved our drinks; my latte "tasted like coffee" (and not sugar) and that was perfect. The Lox bagel was fresh and a bit burnt on the edges but nothing too bad or spectacular. I loved the various meat, bread and cheese options for the breakfast sandwich and got a bacon and pepper jack on wheat. My Grandmother liked it. The place was chill but definitely busy. Interesting place. I stopped in last minute to get bagels for work. I didn't know it was easier for them. If you call ahead, I'll do that in the future. I got a dozen bagels, which was rather pricey. 23$at Noah's bagels, and they charged me 55. So much for planning. A cute little coffee shop. It looks like the regulars go in there and I'll come back for like a breakfast sandwich. I'll try it we'll see. It smells good in there and their menu was pretty large. I'll have to take more time to figure it out. I'm still curious about the $20 up charge. But they are not Noah as bagels but they sell Noah's bagels so I don't know if as a business if they get them at the discount and in charge the wholesale rate, I don't know. I realize everyone has to make money. I'm all for it. Hey make your money, honey, but a 20 to 30$ difference for me. That's huge .. by bad...I will plan better next time.. Will I try them? Yes, will I be back? Yes, just because it's a local place and I live right down the street. I'll do it on a Saturday morning whenever I have time just to kick back and take it all in. The young lady who helped me was very very nice and she cut everything in half and she gave me the individual little cream cheeses. So I'm not I'm not complaining. I'm a stickler for excellent customer service and the cashiers at Rrags get an A+! They offer a large variety of coffee, baked goods, and food items that can be enjoyed from breakfast to dinner. I tried the morning glory loaf and the caramel macchiato - both were delish. My daughter enjoyed the Lavendar Oatmilk Latte. I'm excited for the many other items we'll enjoy on our many other visits. I came here to study a little with my boyfriend! It was a little rainy so I thought a hot honey and oat latte and toasted bagel with cream cheese was going to perfect for the cold weather. My boyfriend ordered a toasted Asiago bagel with jam and butter and an iced black and white mocha. I sadly received an iced honey oat latte but it's okay, I didn't mind too much so I just kept my drink. I tried the black and white mocha which was extremely sweet, opposite from the honey oat latte which just tasted like milk with espresso. On the other hand, the toasted bagels were delicious!! Perfectly toasted and was ready a couple minutes after I ordered. We sat in a corner of the cafe which was nice with having both the window and cozy interior of the cafe to look at when doing my assignment. Homey little coffee shop, i got a toasted jalapeno bagel and the blueberry walnut smoothie. Both very yum! I just wish they had more options for smoothies, the blue berry walnut was the only fresh fruit smoothie they had while the rest of the smoothies (mango, strawberry etc.) were syrup based per the gal working the register. read more

Every time I've come here, they've either burnt my coffee or the coffee just tasted off. However, their lox croissants.. worthy of the 4 stars! They're always friendly and I appreciate them opening super early, and on top of that, accepting pick up orders. Bagels here are absolutely delicious! They'd be even better if the cream cheese came spread on instead of in little containers, because it's always best when the bagel is hot and melty. The coffee is smooth, clean-tasting, and so good. The shop is cozy, though the seating layout is a bit limited and could be more comfortable. Passed by the shop all the time, finally took time to try it out and was happy with I got. Ordered the Lox bagel sandwich. They ran out of plain bagels, I got it with the everything bagel. A little too much cream cheese for me but other than that I enjoyed it. I ordered a large honey oat latte.
