Side of Sausage links and eggs cooked over-easy. A side of fruit.

The waitress greeted me with sincere friendliness the moment I approached the front desk. The bacon waffle tasted so good. The eggs and sausage tasted mediocre however. Plus, the waffle combo and side of fruit prices seemed steep in respect of the food quality. On the other hand, the restaurant has a modern and quaint ambiance which gives it its charm. It's a family-oriented cafe with personality.

Great cafe spot I found while working an event at Six Flags. Great atmosphere with great people and great service. Was greeted immediately upon entering and very spacious location. Also has outdoor seating, but it was a bit cold so we chose indoor seating. Order the Good Say Omelet and it was delicious. The bacon and Hash browns very crispy. Service was slow in the beginning, but got better over time.

Went here on Saturday, wasn't very busy and we were day immediately. Our waitress was really nice and checked in with us for refills and other items we may need, always good. I got the crab omelette, it was a 7/10. I definitely have had better, the crab seemed more like crab salad so it threw me off a bit. It was a bit much but the serving was generous. Egg around it was s bit dry, good but wouldn't get it again personally. My boyfriend had the chicken and waffles. Another solid 7, chicken breast a bit dry but still good. The corn bread was an 8, toasted great, just wish there was more of the honey butter on the side. For such a big piece a warm smooth honey better would have been great but it was still tasty. Ambiance was nice, inside was spacious and there's seating in and outside. I would go back again to try their pancakes, they looked like a hot. Overall, this place is worth a try for sure.

It's a good place for breakfast/lunch in downtown Vallejo. The service is pretty good and they are pretty busy on the weekends Wifey got the Homemade corn beef hash with fried rice and eggss. She liked it and so did I. My order was simple bacon and eggs with steam rice. Very basic but that's my go to when I can't make up my mind. The place has dine in and outside sitting with restrooms in the back. Our overall experience was good and a spot we shall return too.

The Serena omelette, the side of bacon, marble rye toast, and country potatoes
    Dear A.

Thank you, the Serena omelette is stuffed with natural crab, not imitation, avocado, spices, onions, and sliced peppers. Wonderful, top with a layer of crab meat. I also had the country potatoes which were perfectly seasoned, grilled and cooked to tender with onions, marble rye toast, and a side of bacon just to give the omelette a little salt absolutely excellent it will be one of my weekly regulars.

Quite a yummy breakfast! As a former Vallejoan, I can't believe I've never been here before! I had the two biscuits and gravy, and I was not expecting how big the plate would be. But they were the fluffiest biscuits, and the gravy was great. I also got a side of bacon (crispy!) and it came out perfect. What a nice morning!

Fresh cornbread with honeybutter was delicious!

Good Day Cafe is a crown jewel of a restaurant! My wife and I ventured here for our first breakfast experience and were highly impressed with everything from the moment we entered the café, we were greeted and seated immediately. We shared a breakfast and really enjoyed the crab omelet, it was huge and packed with fresh crabmeat! The three egg omelet was perfect for sharing! We ordered it with the amazingly delicious bacon fried rice and the fresh warm cornbread with honeybutter! We enjoyed outstanding service from the waitstaff and especially Seriana! She was a real pleasure serving us! The ambiance is warm and welcoming, very inviting! Thank you very much for a wonderful breakfast experience! We'll see you again soon!

Came for Valentine's Day Breakfast ! We were seated right away which was amazing since they were super busy. Orders were taken and drinks given right away. I was surprised with how HUGE the pancakes were . I thought I was gonna be able to finish them but failed haha. Really good tho. We also ordered a cup of fruit , sausage patties , and toast (failed to take photos). I really liked the sausage patties that were thin and well seasoned. No complaints on anything. My Fiancé was skeptical on ordering the country fried steak ( he had a bad experience with a different breakfast spot so was scarred ) but he loved it here ! The boys left nothing on their plates when we were done eating. Staff was friendly and ready to help even tho it was packed . Would definitely recommend

This is a great spot for breakfast/lunch! My lady and I had a day off together and ended up here for breakfast! YES, I had a cheeseburger for breakfast and I have no regrets. I was very enthusiastic to eat it when it arrived that I burned my tongue but it was VERY flavorful. My lady ordered India's Chicken Pesto and it was a hit! Service was very pleasant. The crowd is very small town so I enjoyed that it wasn't crowded. There's something relaxing about the sounds of a cafe staff cooking and tending to their clients. We will be coming back for more.

Hubby and I came here for a late breakfast and it was first time here since the new year. Wow they updated the interior and food presentation since the last time I was here. The place seems brighter and more open to be and I loved it. Even the bathroom was brighter as it was dark for me in the past. I got my fave the hash and eggs plate and it did not disappoint. The service here was great as always along with all the workers being friendly. Hubby got bacon and eggs and enjoyed his food too. The coffee was good and kept filled too. Glad to still be able to come back and enjoy.

Patty melt cooked medium. Lots of fries. Really good dill pickle.

The food is always good here. Service is quick and friendly. Always locals enjoying a meal in a comfortable place. I had the patty melt with a boat load of fries. Really good!

It was our first time here, we were here for a car show. This was one of the only places nearby to get breakfast. That being said, this place was packed, and there was a waiting list. After a 15-minute wait, we were seated in no time. This place was a lot bigger on the inside than I thought. They had 2 entrances/ exits, and through each room was a dining area. I believe there is possibly another room in the back and outdoor seating. Looking around you can tell this place has been here for a while, since 1998 I believe. The lady who helped us was super nice, and she took her time with us. We were a party of 14. She wasn't rushing us with how busy they were. Our food was out in no time, and you could taste the quality of the food. I thoroughly appreciated how delicious the food was, even with all the hustle and bustle of everything. My husband and I ordered: 1. Short stack of pancakes: You have the option to have it thin and crispy. We just had it the regular way. The pancakes were fluffy and buttery. The syrup was even piping hot. 2. Hearty country breakfast: They did not skimp on the gravy with the biscuits and gravy. I'm happy I decided to go with sausage patties. It was heaven in every bite. This place was amazing, and I definitely can't wait to come back soon. There are so many more items I want to try

I really like this place. The food is good, and it's genuinely special to dine somewhere that has been in business for so long. There's a lot of charm here, and I can see why people enjoy it. That said, I'm giving this feedback in the spirit of helpfulness, not criticism. I think service in restaurants generally has shifted lately, and I would love to see this place stand out by bringing back more attentiveness and hospitality. Our waitress was very sweet, and I could tell she was a kind person. However, after our meal, our plates were never picked up. She dropped off the bill, came back for the card, returned the card, and walked by several times to help nearby customers, but our dirty plates stayed in front of us the entire time. We were sitting on the patio, enjoying a conversation while waiting for our vehicle to be repaired, and it would have made such a difference to have the table cleared and maybe a warm-up on the coffee. For people who enjoy coffee, especially those of us over 50, sitting and chatting after a meal is part of the dining experience. We're not necessarily trying to rush out the door just because the check has been paid. Hospitality doesn't end when the card is run. My friend purchased the meal and likely tipped around 20%, but honestly, I would have happily tipped extra if the plates had been cleared and the coffee had been refreshed. Small things like that really matter. They make customers feel cared for instead of forgotten. I'm not giving a lower rating to be harsh. I actually believe this waitress is capable of five-star service, and I believe this restaurant is too. I just hope management will continue training servers on the little timelines and details that make a meal feel truly hospitable: checking coffee, reading body language, clearing plates, and not leaving guests feeling kinda dumped after they've paid ( and even tipped well) This place has so much going for it. With just a little more attention to the guest experience, I think it could be even better. This definitely doesn't hold me back from dining here again however, I probably will politely speak up next time or not tip

My favorite lunch order is the Chicken Caesar Wrap - perfect ratio of chicken, lettuce, cheese, dressing, and croutons. The wrap is always well constructed and never falls apart mid-consumption. When I moved away from Vallejo, I thought about this wrap often. For dinner, the wings are always a solid choice - korean bbq, bbq, buffalo - all equally good. The wings are a good size, an even mix of drums and flats, the chicken is always moist and the sauce ratio is perfect. Best wings in Solano County. The M.I.B.C. Burger is another favorite, always cooked as requested, the meat is super flavorful and the toppings - cheese, onion, sauce, and arugula fit perfectly between the brioche bun. This is also served with fries - always served the right amount of crisp. For beers, I prefer to drink the War Bond. However, I can vouch for the fact that all of the beer here is good. Also, all of the staff here are super friendly and helpful. Best neighborhood bartenders, best views of the sunset. We are lucky to have this spot in Vallejo.

The onion rings were good too, although I wish they used the same batter as the fish. The food wasn't served quite as hot as I would have preferred, and they were pretty conservative with the condiments. That may be intentional given the location and the likelihood of non-customers helping themselves if everything was left on the tables. I asked whether the beets in the beet salad were freshly roasted or canned, and I was told they were fresh, so I ordered it. It was good, but something wasn't quite as fresh as I expected. It may have been the walnuts--I think they would have benefited from being toasted--or perhaps another ingredient. I'm very particular when it comes to beet salads. I also ordered the crab and artichoke melt, and this was the star of the meal. It was absolutely divine. Rich, buttery crab and melted cheese layered on thinly sliced, perfectly toasted ciabatta--it was pure comfort food. I was surprisingly full after just two bites, partly because the portions are generous and I'd already made a dent in the beet salad. I skipped drinks this visit, but I'll definitely be back to check out the rotating taps and wine selection. The staff were laid-back, incredibly friendly, and genuinely helpful. The setting is one of the restaurant's biggest draws. The outdoor patio offers a beautiful bird's-eye view of the ferries arriving at Mare Island, making it the perfect place to linger over a meal. Inside, there's a large, inviting bar where it's easy to strike up a conversation with another guest, or you can grab one of the window seats and simply enjoy the waterfront views. I'll definitely be back.
