This is FULL order of chicken & tri-tip combo. This was $20.00. Soo overpriced!!

BBQ was sounding good so we decided to order from Gracie's. We had it delivered. 3 of us split the Pit Master. The beans were good. They always are. The meat was a little underwhelming though. There was a chicken drumstick, but it was so dry my mom wouldn't eat it. There wasn't much to the ribs. We got a dry end piece They also put a surprise in the order. I believe it was some kind of chicken quesadilla, but it was so soggy when we got it. It was hard to tell what it was and it didn't taste very good. I've had good meals from Gracie's but unfortunately, this wasn't one of them. Still searching for a great barbecue.

Gracie's came highly recommended by a local in Vallejo, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and service were exceptional the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. We ordered the family barbecue dinner, and it exceeded our expectations. The portions were generous, the flavors were outstanding, and every dish was prepared with care. It was the kind of meal that brings people together and leaves you fully satisfied. For anyone looking for a great barbecue experience in Vallejo, Gracie's is a must-visit. Between the outstanding food and the genuine hospitality, this is a place we would gladly return to and wholeheartedly recommend. Family friendly . I just love the entire aesthetic of this location.

The salad was wonderful The ambience was decent However the service was not as expected due to the woman at the register she wasn't very welcoming and was very sarcastic. The jambalaya soup had flavor but no seasoning and the macaroni and cheese as well as the Spanish rice was bland. I ordered the hot sandwich and asked for cheese however they gave me cold shredded cheese on the side. I would give this experience 2 out of 10, and I'm saying a two because of the salad. The salad was the only thing I would go back for..

Green beans and slaw.

Felt welcomed here at Gracie's. Dining at their indoor patio was a chilling experience, but fear not. Request to turn on their propane heating lamps and you should be all cozy. The food turned out great. We ordered chicken, brisket, slaw, and green beans. A preference of mine is a fatty AKA moist brisket. Their brisket is on the lean side and some may prefer it. It would be nice to have a choice between the two. Great BBQ located in Downtown Vallejo. Ample private parking and street parking if need be.

All the food we had omg it was delicious

I love the picketed onions and I usually hate anything pickled! I also love the aioli sauce on the sandwich. So thoughtfully put together! Their truffle fries complement the dish too. My friend I brought had never been and she was impressed too, she could tell everything was made in house. I really need to come here more often!

Tucked inside Vallejo near their City Hall, this I could say is one of those perfect definitions of a "hidden gem"! We normally have to go to either Berkeley or Napa for this type of food. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted & seated by one of their servers. The lady didn't seem to look so happy at first but was actually nice towards the end. Would've been better though if she did have a smile on her face the moment we walked in. But oh well. A male server made up for it and was very pleasant from start to finish! The plates we had this first trip were all scrumptious! Churro Waffle plus chicken, Chicken and waffle and eggs Benedict of the day. The matcha latte I'm used to is actually sweet. The one I had from this place, Matcha Latte w/ Lavender syrup was not sweet at all! Could've been perfect if I was given a heads up or asked if I wanted to add sweetness to it. The sugars provided for my spouse's coffee were all sugar substitutes (Splenda, sweet N low). Not the kind I'd put in my cup. Would definitely be back for their churro waffle & chicken!

This…read moreplace has the cleanliness and service structure that feels kind of like a regional chain, but still retains a charm of a small mom and pop type shop. The folks here were very kind and polite. They were very helpful in ordering as well. I ended up getting the French dip sandwich. The price was pretty in line with what it is nowadays. (Early 2026) I thought the sandwich was tasty and well made. Again, I can't stress how kind the folks here were. One of the kids working brought me my water even though I didn't mind going up to the counter to grab it. Just a great place to grab a quick and delicious lunch. There was plenty of parking around as well

My eyes have been opened…read more I'll admit. Theres certain places in town that I just still haven't tried even after living in Benicia for as long as I have. You know how it is right? If none of the people in your circle have tried it, it sometimes makes it a hard for one to make the leap of faith. After all, everything is pricier nowadays. So making sure you are getting your money's worth is more important more than ever. I'm glad that Sprankles always makes me feel confident about my purchase when I order from them. Recently I tried their Pastrami Club and was very impressed. Lots of good flavors. If you are person who loves extra meat or their sandwiches then I think you'd love this one. I do wish the bread held up a little better. Even though I appreciate the amount of content I get on the sandwich, I think that particular should be served on a more sturdier bread. If not then the meat could probably be reduced just a smidge. Other than that no other complaints. When you pick up your food you shouldn't have any problems with parking. Theres usually plenty of parking in their lot. I'm really looking forward to trying more things here at this cozy sandwich spot.

VISIT NOTES *parking is a nightmare…read more*I have physical limitations (back issues, recent foot surgery) so I really needed to sit at a table *when I walked in, I asked, do we seat ourselves and was told yes. (nothing was said about no table service to order) I wanted to sit outside and there were plenty of open low tables but on an 80 degree afternoon after a FULL WEEK of unseasonably 90+ temps (March 16-21, 2026) the outside dining area has ZERO shade umbrellas. I was told "yeah, we haven't decided to put those out yet." The only shaded outdoor dining was at high bar tables or at "shelf" rail and all had these trendy yet uncomfortable 'farmhouse' tall barstools: hard steel, no backs, tiny seat and I can't sit at this style of table. *The inside low tables were full but the "hostess" walked through the dining room to see if there was an open low table and the only option was a picnic table that was half occupied and they "let" me sit down *Hostess made a big deal about getting a towel and some cleaner to wipe it down. * I look up and see a large sign that says ORDER HERE across the room back where I was standing. (I've been to the MIBC Taproom in Benicia and they have table service) *so another walk across the dining room to place the order for drinks and food *I told the bartender I've had foot surgery so all this walking around is really difficult. they said yeah sounds like a drag *After I order, the bartender had the arrogance to flip a screen around (and walk away!!) that asks for a minimum 18%+ percent tip. FOR LITERALLY NO SERVICE. I still put out a tip, and tablet asked if I wanted a receipt, I chose print, and then a screen requiring me to enter my phone number (WTF?) I complain when Bartender comes back with my wine and said, oh no, that was optional. And I said if there was an opt out button, it wasn't visible. *I ask, can they hold my wine glass behind the bar Because I need to go to the restroom and didn't want to leave an open drink on a table unattended. Bartender hands me a coaster and says, oh use this. *So now another walk back and forth across the room. And I have to do it again to pick up my food *While waiting for my food I saw both a bartender and hostess bringing out food so, table service is based on their mood? *they dont have restrooms (?!?) they offer the public restroom in the lobby of the ferry terminal. Fun fact! They have a dart board in the corner that's in the direct path of the shortest distance to get to the restroom. Patrons playing darts shout at you for getting in their way. *The only positive was the kitchen staff which did put out a great sandwich and fries. *When someone has a physical disability, all of this is unacceptable. Same for the exterior there isn't clear signage the entrance isn't at the parking lot but around the corner at the pier. ============= I was in Vallejo to look at property in Glen Cove and made the short but concerning° drive to the Ferry Building. It was a very pretty day and thought it would be nice to sit out near the water and try and enjoy it. (And while I didn't see any RAT INFESTATION that was all over the local news, the vibe of the people "hanging around smoking" and condition of the other buildings make this my "one & done" for the town of Vallejo. °Crime, the WORST roads and blight.)
