The restaurant has seating to dine in and the place was primarily clean besides one table that needed attention. I used the restroom to wash hands and it was also clean. What I received was: the fries, 1 king South Philly with cheese (I asked after I received the order if the king had no cheese - the cook assured me that it didn't). 1 large with no cheese and 1 South Philly that was correct...and NO SWEET PEPPERS FOR ANY OF THEM. This is a good sandwich shop. If you go here, you have to get the foot-long sandwich because the 6 inches is not big enough. They make a good sandwich and you can get everything on top of it. If you're going to go to this mall and get you something to eat this is the b best place to go. You don't need to go to NNN out and you don't need to go to that nasty chicken shop up the road. This visit was on a Saturday evening earlier this month while out with the hubby. We were running errands and wanted a sandwich. I don't eat meat but we'd played this out a few times before with good outcomes so I was happy to order our sandwiches. We took them home, grabbed chips and snacks and set up for a movie l; opened sandwiches and first thing was that the bread wasn't very fresh or soft. The cheese with minimum and I really enjoy it at all. Like I said this was not my first time with this veggie cheesesteak , two times earlier this year that I ordered it, it was phenomenal like it was really delicious and ate the whole thing. However, after a couple of bites and I was done..... and it was pretty dry even with all vegetables. Happy to see this location is finally open for business, as it is close to work. I've been to their other locations in San Francisco and San Jose, and a die-hard Philly Steak lover. The place is super clean, plain decor, with their menu located on a TV on the left side of the restaurant. They are going to offer a 5" or 10" or 10" King (extra meat) in both beef or chicken options. Their cheese options range from white cheddar, provolone, or cheese wiz. Look to spend around $10 for a 10" philly by itself. If you want to add fries and a drink, you'll be looking closer to $15. If you want to go for the bigger philly, it will cost you close to $15 on its own. My go-to is always the HOAGIE. I dined in, so that I could have it as fresh as it could be for an honest review. It's always recommended to dine-in for this type of sandwiches, ordering to-go will never do the food any justice. In regards to flavor, I'd have to say this time around was OK. The meat was so finely chopped, that it really didn't have much flavor too it. It really could've used some more salt and pepper to liven it up. The bread was soggy, so I wish the bread could've been toasted just a tad bit longer to combat that juices from ruining the bread. All in all, you can't really go wrong with a philly, as it will almost always taste good, but the difference between a great philly and one that is middle of the road is easy to distinguish. Maybe they are still trying to figure out their groove in regards to cooking style, so I'll give this place another try in a month or so, and update my review. read more
