    Mango sunset and cali drip
    Lynnelle E.

We recently went to the brick & mortar store. It's not too big, you literally go through the door: place your order, pay, and walk out with your order. It's a pretty efficient and seamless option. They have outside dining area. Parking lot is pretty big because it's shared with other businesses. We came here for lunch and I was sad we weren't here earlier for breakfast. The menu sounded like a pretty good spread and they open at 6am. I'm not sure if that's weekends only or everyday that they are open. If I lived closer, I'd definitely be here to try breakfast. We ordered: 1. Pulled pork sliders: Amazing with the fries. 2. 2 way meat: brisket and tri tip were ok. A little over cooked for my liking. They ran out of mac n cheese and it was another 25 minutes for a fresh batch. I ended up going with potato salad which was pretty good. 3. Beef hot link: Ordered a side because I had to try it. To me it was pretty hot and spicy but flavorful. 4. Cali drip: I didn't know until leaving a review that this was the same place we tried in Vallejo. It was still disappointing to me in my opinion but my standards are pretty high for a calamansi drink. 5. Sunset drink: I forgot the name but this is delicious. It had bits of mango with cranberry juice. Overall, a good experience. I'll for sure come back soon to try breakfast

    Mexican lumpia

Small little BBQ joint with outdoor seating. Very friendly staff. The Mexican Lumpias were very good. Think of a lumpia with birria meat with the soup. The ribs were very good, tender and juicy. The Tri tip was a bit dry and overcooked, I like my meat more rare. I would get the ribs again but probably not the Tri tip.

This is what I got for $111.00 !!! Rip off !!! I will never go back, I will drive to Buckhorn in Vacaville and get 3x the food !!!

This is what I got for $111. dollars !!! Rip-off !!! These are tiny containers !!! The food had zero flavor !!! I will never go back !!! I will drive to Buckhorn in Vacaville and get 5x the food !!!!!!

Smash burgers bring joy to my heart. Benicia does have burgers, but I'm really looking for a local place that isn't a chain. Don't get me wrong. I love places like In and out Burger but there's something about growing up with places like Cliffs and Buds Burger in Vallejo. Just an old fashioned place that does burgers right. So recently someone asked if I tried a BBQ place in the Industrial Area. If you are a Benician, then you are automatically skeptical but I peeped the menu and began getting more interested. Oh you do sandwiches too? Oh you do burgers too? Wait...yall got Lumpia too? There's definitely some potential. So I tried them out yesterday... That was an interesting first start. I think the number might be wrong on Yelp because I ended up calling the Vallejo location. Luckily he gave me the Benicia # and I called this one and was fine after. The lady who answered was super nice. She texted me when the order was ready. Luckily I was already on my way to pick it up. I live only 5 mins away so needless to say I picked it up shortly after. I'm not sure if there is sit down inside. There might be some place to eat outside but to me this place seems more like a to go location. You order at a window like The Workshop does it. And then you pick up your order on the right hand side. Now for food I wanna knock out the negatives which isn't much. The fries aren't really crispy but man are they flavorful. 2 stack(Basically a double double) was cooked perfectly. Literally the style is the closest thing to In and Out that Benicia has and Im not mad about it. It doesn't however come with Lettuce or tomatoes. It does however come with pickles on the side. Caramelized onions also come on the burger(Along with the usual mayo spread).Lastly they give you this sauce. I don't know what it is but it tastes like something close to a Spicy Aioli. It's pretty addicting...It's spicy but also just a tiny tiny bit sweet too. I actually put this on both the fries and burger and mannnn was that a fun time. I was super impressed with this place. Because I had such an experience with just the burger and fries, I definitely wanna try the BBQ to give a final assessment. But for now, this is a new hidden gem for me in town!

Deep fried, wrapped in bacon, stuffed with cream cheese and brisket! This thing was insane!!! A Must!

This place right here is HANDS DOWN the best BBQ spot in the Bay Area. Not only is the food INSANE but it's also family owned and from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave you feel right at home. The service is top notch and always consistent. If you haven't tried this place yet or have been considering it, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to Traballo's!

I mixed the Calamasite passion fruit drink with a little something something

I just moved into the neighborhood and I finally came to try this spot out! I'm very glad I finally did. The smoked flavor is off the chain! My favorite meat was the chicken because of its flavor and juiciness!! I loved the potato salad right away and I got a double portion. ! The tritip and ribs were delicious!!! I also really enjoyed the hometown hospitality as the owner Doc treated me like family right away! I believe that he believes like I do treat everyone great!!! For this BBQ spot to still be here through the pandemic is the Lord's grace!!! This is one of my favorite BBQ spots in the Bay Area and there are only a few! Doc figure out a way for a for a $30 Filipino BBQ combo plate for people like me who love Filipino and BBQ food!! If YALL haven't seen here get here soon!!! You will not be disappointed I guarantee it!!!

What are their open day/hours? I've tried to call at different times and never can get someone.

    Any good salad options?

They are currently testing some salad options, and providing samples to customers. I imagine it'll be on the menu soon as a side salad.

Hubby found this restaurant and so we drove to the place. First thing you'll notice once you enter the restaurant is the warm temp inside - no AC but they have electric fans going on. To the right is a long shelf with a variety grocery items while the table seating is laid out in the center. TV was tuned in to a channel playing a Filipino movie. This is a "turo-turo" style food ordering, meaning no table service instead you go to where the dishes are cooked in large portions (which is towards the back of the restaurant) and you choose which ones you want. We ordered: Pork Sinigang - a little too sour for me but this is a classic Filipino soup with pork ribs, vegetables, and tamarind broth. Bistek (beef steak) - thin slices of marinated beef before smothered in a deeply savory sauce and topped with golden-seared onions Pork Adobo - classic Filipino dish of pork simmered in vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic Kaldereta - goat meat stew I didn't try the kaldereta but all the other dishes were good and delicious. You will definitely feel the Filipino hospitality here. Street parking. Maraming salamat! Review #3929

We originally went for the viral Ilicano Empanadas, those did not disappoint either. They are made to order so you gotta pack your patience, allow about 20 mins from order, it's totally worth it. $7.95 each with a minimum of two per order so bring a friend to share. I cannot say I can finish two and I'm a big eater too. The spiced vinegar served with them cuts the richness of the deep fried goodness. ProTip...make sure you get the bits of picked onions and peppers in the vinegar to add a nice bite to the already delicious empanada. It's a mom and pop shop so don't expect five star decor but it does have a homey touch. It is ALL ABOUT THE FOOD...you can't eat the chairs and tables

Out of all of them, this empanada was probably my least favorite one. My mother & father in law are from the Philippines and they agreed. These are really stuffed with meat but they were really dry. The egg was also fully cooked, I prefer a soft runny yolk. The ratio was probably 50% meat, 30% mung bean, and 20% papaya. It was just sooo dry, you definitely needed to drench that in vinegar to get through it. The outer shell was really crispy though! + points for being able to order & pick up same day! A lot of places you need to order in advance.

On top of that, former Golden State Warriors player Festus Ezeli has been here and said he loved the wings, so we had to check it out while we were in the area. When we got there, it was already busy, but we were glad we were able to get a table right away. Good thing we came when we did, because a wait started forming shortly after. We did have to wait a bit for our food, but it was understandable--they had a steady flow of call-in and DoorDash orders going out. We ordered the garlic soy wings, salt and pepper fish, and shrimp fried rice. First off, the shrimp fried rice actually had real, good-sized shrimp--not those tiny ones you sometimes get--which we really appreciated. The wings were flavor town: crispy, packed with flavor, and super satisfying. Even though you can see peppers in the dish, there wasn't really a spicy kick, which is different from San Tung, where there's usually a slight heat. That said, even without the spice, these wings absolutely live up to the hype. The salt and pepper fish was also a standout--crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Overall, I can see why people compare this place to San Tung. They're both delicious, just in their own way.
