Today I tired to use two at the same time when ordering FOUR and the lady at the register tells me only one free per order of 3 minimum drinks lol... WHAT? So I'm putting it all together now that I'm home realizing it only did she not honor the second free drink she literally placed an order for a drink I didn't order and charged me for it lol. Then I go onto my bank app cuz I didn't bother to grab the receipt, I am now realizing she definitely charged me for ALL drinks and still took my free drink pass and didn't allow me to use the other. Alright let me give you a real review because it's a bunch of old people giving these review. This place SUCKS. Back when this place first opened this place was the best, but now I believe its under new ownership and it just took a hard decline in quality and service. I ordered a pink princess, and it was literally just Taro milk tea. The lady refused to remake it. Also ordered calamari rings and they were overcooked to the point where they felt like chips. Four stars, but only because I loooove their popcorn chicken. Every now and then I get a craving. Popcorn chicken from boba shops just hit different, and the area is kind of lacking in this department. It only comes in one size, and its a good amount to share... or eat on your own, no judgement. I think they ask if you want it spicy (can't confirm, cause my BF is always the one picking up) but I do believe they have additional chili powder shakers at the counter for you to add as well. They do give some sweet chili sauce for dipping. The good kind for lumpia, not the yucky obscenely pink kind that chinese places like to give out. On our last visit, the boo opted for a blueberry milk tea (odd, I know) and I chose the peach yogurt drink. He said it was fine, but personally, no. lol To each their own. The peach yogurt drink was iced, and super cold. However, it was more peachy than yogurty. I think I would have preferred a blended option as well, but that's okay. The yogurt series is also my go to, no matter where I am, but theirs is pretty syruppy sweet. They were fairly busy around the afternoon, but orders seemed like they were being pushed out in a timely manner. They have random signs everywhere about not being on Door Dash and what not. The walls are pretty bare, and the location itself could just use a little facelift but Quicklys is what it is. We ordered 2 regular milk teas. We waited almost 1 hour. They should have warned us about the wait.

It's been some time since I've been back to Quickly but that's because of the many new boba tea options available in Vallejo/Benicia. My main reason of coming here today is the popcorn chicken. Still tastes pretty good and not bad considering how much chicken you get for the price you pay. I also ordered the Thai iced tea and it really is Vallejo's number one most ordered drink since everyone behind me ordered the same exact drink. The store definitely looks different or the feeling is different. The lighting is a bit more dim. There wasn't anything colorful or festive in the walls. Basic framed posters and a community board was all that was left in the walls. There isn't anybody shaking up teas or blending drinks (but I did go at 7:30pm). I did notice that none of the drink cups have the classic quickly logo which makes me think that it's under new ownership. The signage outside the building was also not lit which is odd since the rest of the plaza had lit up signage. Would I come back? It'll probably be a while, but it's a great stop for a quick simple drink and snack when you're doing a little shopping in the plaza. read more

Good ol Quicklys! My first time ever having boba was actually when I was visiting Canada in the 90s, oddly enough. And then not too long after, boba places started opening up in the Bay Area. And throughout the years many open up and close, but Quickly's has stayed around for a long time. Some people hate on it, but I enjoy their boba. I love that they use non-dairy creamer for the lactose free folks like me. I have always enjoyed the simple taro milk tea with pearls. I use to get those really big bucklet looking cups, because I could drink so much of it so fast. But now I try to reduce my boba intake. Anyway this place is great! The service here is also excellent. I had an issue with an order, and they were very apologetic, and took care of it a kind and professional manner. They also have popcorn chicken! I love boba places that also have snacks. I hope Quicklys continue to stay open for a long time. read more

I haven't been to Quickly in years, but the service surprised me when I stopped by on a Friday evening. The workers were all kind and responsive to my requests (ex: asking for a water cup, asking for white pepper/chili powder). They all had a smile on their face and would say "you're welcome" when I told them thank you. Though it may not seem like a big deal, I always appreciate when workers are kind. As for the food and drinks, I ordered a mango passion fruit black milk tea with large tapioca. Less ice and 50% sweetness. The boba was soft and chewy, which I prefer, though I wish it was a little bit more sweet. The drink itself had a good flavor; you can tell they use a powder/syrup for the mango/passion fruit flavoring, rather than real ingredients. My only complaint follow is that my sister ordered the exact same drink as mine with 30% sweetness, but our drinks tasted exactly the same. We also ordered their popcorn chicken and tako yaki which satisfied our cravings. Both dishes were really tasty, but I wish the tako yaki portion was larger (it's $1 a ball). I have never been to a quickly so dirty as this one and a very different menu than when I am used to seeing it other quickly. My son ordered a watermelon special and in the photo it's a watermelon/with strawberry jelly and tiajin with a tamarind candy straw.. well we got something very different. We got a watermelon slush mixed with tajin and no strawberry jelly. The worst part was that it did not have the tamarind candy straw and that's one of the reasons why he chose that drink and when we asked if it came with it, they said that it was inside and didn't even know what it was they shouldn't be selling something they have no clue about. I ordered a taro root milk slush then basically tasted like artificial color and way too sweet. I love this place. I never drank these type of drinks before! So when I tried it for the first time I was a little held back about the little balls inside. Little did I know you could get different kinds and flavors. I get the strawberry blitz because its a smoothie. I get the strawberry balls. But I will say, They haven't been the same since the first one I got. They have been a little runny lately and they run out of products a little too often. Came in on a Sunday around noon time and there are tons of social distance stickers on the floor. The staff here are always really fast and efficient, I never felt like I had to wait such a long time for my drinks. Food takes a little bit longer. Since it's been cold out my family requested for hot milk tea and boba which isn't too common. I got my brother a hot taro milk tea and my mom a regular milk tea with boba. The drinks were served pretty quickly and they also cut the lids so you can fit your straw in it. One thing that I really wanted to order was their original popcorn chicken. I was a graduate student at a college nearby to this Quickly, so needless to say, myself and many of my classmates came here for sweet drink. I have tried many flavors but my tried and true flavor is the Milk tea with pearls 50% sugar. It is a great pick me up and just the right amount of caffeine for someone who easily gets jittery. The service is great, I like the point system they have, have definitely used it a couple times. Now I, myself, am a bit of an environmentalist so I hate the amount of plastic that every boba shop uses so I just bring my own mason jar and metal boba straw. They don't love it but do charge me fairly and accept it. Check out the picture! I would definitely return here if I'm ever in the area. I haven't been to this location since last October! I was here a few times in the last 2 weeks and I am amazed at how much this place has upgraded. The menu looks fantastic! Although it's a bit small to read it's so clean and it gives a fresh look to the place. I love how neat and organized the place is inside and how the artwork on the wall is displayed. Overall, I'm always pleased to come here! This definitely ranks the best boba spot for me. I did not see caramel snow boba drink unless I can't read it on the menu but that used to be my favorite boba drink! I saw snow white now on the menu still which is my other favorite drink. Quickly is my go to. I got over ShareTea fast esp cause they don't serve food. Their boba milk teas are always consistent and am always satisfied with my craving. Their calamari I have to say is exceptionally good for a boba shop. That's also my go to for food along with popcorn chicken. However, I went in today and got popcorn chicken which is my go to order as well. I'm not sure if they have a different cook on weekdays or during the day, but this batch seemed different from the Last time I was here which was maybe beginning of the month or late last month. I can't pinpoint what the difference is, but I can just taste that it's different. Leaving it at 4 stars for now since that was my only complaint for now and it could be an off day. As a tea and coffee snob (I don't mean to be but I am), I don't typically like Quickly or TapEx, but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. It had a good selection of snacks and sizes/portions to choose from (regular, large, bowl)! We had the popcorn chicken and the waffle fries. Both were fried nicely and not soggy like so many locations we have tried before. It came out "quickly" as well (no pun intended haha). Good thing we ordered the larger sizes as my boys devoured the snacks like the growing kids they are! In the middle of winter, I opted for a hot almond milk tea, less sweet. It was flavored just right without feeling syrupy sweet. Wish it had more tea flavor but that's just my personal tea snobbery kicking in. I've always gone to this Quickly but never left a review. This time was probably my best experience. I'd say because the staff were very friendly. I got there right when they opened at 11am, so no lines at all. I always order the Hazelnut MT, no toppings. I get the biggest size to share with my husband LOL. Unfortunately the Benicia location doesn't offer this size. I also ordered calamari which was ready in less than 5 minutes. They now have the rings which I prefer over the smaller pieces.
