I love going to T4. For a small place, they offer a wide variety of drinks and delicious comfort food to choose from. You order at the window, can either choose to eat at at their outdoor chairs and table, eat in your car, or simply take out. I love their takoyaki and basil popcorn chicken. I don't know what's going on at this location, but taking 30 minutes to make three drinks is honestly unacceptable. I gave this place another chance after my first visit when they had just opened, thinking maybe it would be better by now but obviously not. We ordered before it even got busy, and somehow our drinks kept getting pushed back while other orders were made first. That's just poor organization. Saying there were only two people working doesn't really excuse it either. Plenty of boba shops run with only a little staff on the floor and still manage to get drinks out in a reasonable time. This T4 replaced the Dairy Queen that came before it. Came by during the soft opening and wow it was quite the surprise! This is the first t4 in an open area, so no sit downs but a spacious parking lot if you want to bring the stuff to eat/drink in the car! I have always been a T4 fan and this place didn't disappoint! I dropped by for some snacks, and they were prepped and served within 10 minutes, which as many might know is relatively fast for T4 standards. The staff were also super nice and accommodating. The basil popcorn chicken was OK, it's nice and crunchy while the meat is tender on the inside. The House mushroom was rather tasty too! I really loved the crunch it has to it, and it's nice have a meat substitute snack for those who can't eat meat. Overall the place seems nice, the only concern is that there isn't really space to drink/eat and the parking while closeby and convenient is somewhat limited. Glad they opened this place in Vallejo! My husband and I have been looking for new boba spots here in Vallejo - crossing my fingers one day they open up a happy lemon or something not too heavily focused on milk tea but more on fruit teas! We decided to check it out a few days after their grand opening and they were PACKED. I'm glad to know they took care of this place after the DQ closed, and T4 has a great variety of drinks as well as snacks - just be prepared to wait a little bit since the place is still fairly new and they are working out this new system! Besides that - I can't wait until the hype calms down and the wait time shortens a bit. The service when ordering was really fast, but it did take awhile for them to get my drinks and snacks to me! Parking is easy, as there is a small lot but it really seemed like a lot of people who live in the houses nearby simply just walk there! T4 is a credible and well-known Asian bubble tea franchise authentically hailing from Taiwan. Menu offers a wide range of drinks and snacks. Operations was smooth for a new location. 15 min wait time for 2 orders with no line around 3pm on a weekend. Staff were quick moving and professional. Go to the front window to order. Side window is to pickup drinks. There is no signage to help orient you, so don't huddle by the crowd typically waiting for drinks. This is a walk-up counter location with a small designated parking area. No seating (not an ideal hangout spot anyway - read below). FYI, this T4 location is a standalone building that's pretty exposed to the roadway. This naturally means more street noise and traffic air pollution. This would be a quick grab-your-drink-and-deuces kinda spot. We ordered the jasmine green milk tea with boba (my standard benchmark for gauging the quality of boba stores), 80% sugar, 50% less ice. Tea was decent, boba had a good soft texture, but sweetness level was made too low (tasted like 50%). You can always ask them to adjust your drink but I wasn't gonna be overly harsh on the sugar level miss. All in all, I'm glad to see another Asian owned business in V-town and will be glad to support them. So I gave it another chance since they added all these new items. Hoping to have some simple Chinese food sound simple enough. Except the fact that when I order 6 items and 3 items are community what order. When trying to ask them what they gave me they couldn't even answer. I showed them my receipt and the pictures they had on there menu. Which was completely different. It got to the point of what's the use of arguing as it's gets no where. I complain and ask them to fix it. They changed one of the item. Refuse to fix the other. I spent almost $100 on 6 item. But the worst part was when we got it home. The meat were bad it tasted spoiled. We tried calling no one answer the phone...when I got home it's was almost 7:45 and they closed at 8 so what's the use. I've been here twice so far. The first time, I ordered 4 drinks for my family and me. I only tried my drink, the Apple Black Tea with boba. I also ordered for us their House Fries, House Mushroom, Popcorn Chicken, and Calamari. My drink was so good... so refreshing. It had a few real apple bits and I finished it in like 10 minutes even though I had a large. LOL. The boba was soft and chewy too. The second time I came I also ordered the same drink and fries again. And the food, I will give 4 stars to everything. It was all seasoned so well with seaweed bits and other spices I don't know. My favorite was the House Mushroom. My mouth is watering as I type this. I'm not giving 5 stars only because I don't think it's possible to change the spice level on the food (not that it's legitimately spicy, but the option is still nice). The cashier I had the first time was super friendly and welcoming. She was pretty funny too. The second time the cashier was also patient and nice. I also talked to one of the other employees, he might've been a manager or supervisor, and he was also pretty bright and helpful. But, like I said before, I've been here twice. And both times the drinks came out reasonably fast but the food took 30+ minutes. I've only ever went when I had nothing else to do so I didn't mind as much. Especially since I could tell from looking into the windows that their setup is cramped and crowded. I used to work at a bar and just looking inside their workspace I was feeling overwhelmed lol. I don't know how they do it. I also overheard one of the managers(?) explain that their fryer "can't handle it" when asked why the food took so long. Not quite sure what that means, I don't fry food so! One suggestion I have would be for the cashiers to give a heads up whenever someone tries to order food and tell them that it would take about 30+ minutes if there's a lot of food orders and the fryer can't "handle" all of them. That way, the customer can decide if they have the time to wait or not. (Both times I've went, I've heard people around me grumble about the wait times, which is valid I suppose if they weren't aware of how long it'd take). Also, there's no tables or chairs outside so you'd have to either eat and drink in your car or go somewhere else. The city I grew up in had like 7 boba places within walking distance of my old high school so I take my boba drinks very seriously! (Jk, kind of.) We decided to try this new place T4 (former location of Dairy Queen) on Springs Rd., Vallejo, CA. The food we ordered was based on the pictures we saw on Yelp photos. We had fried mushrooms, fried calamari, salt and pepper fish and to drink, mango tea. Hubby and I really liked the flavor of the food except they were too generous on salt! Next time we will ask them to be easy on the salt! But they were perfect on crispy and crunchy! The service was good and quick with people already lining up to order.
