Our meal here was okay but for some reason it did not amaze us like their location in Vacaville. The silverware we received was dirty so we used the disposable ones available at the tables. You have the option to order on these tablets at your table which is nice.

Everything was fast the service and it only took 10 minutes for my food to be ready. I ordered wonton soup... I got home only to see I got wontons no broth.

Ordered the Stir Fired Rice Noodles, Shrimp & Pork Shaomai, Leek & Pork steamed dumplings and Wonton in Chili Oil. The Wonton with chili oil has a sharp spicy kick but it's not unbearably spicy. I appreciate the size of each wonton and how much chili oil they use. Big pieces of wontons with good amount of filling. The Shaomais were good sized too and good flavor. The Leek & Pork steamed dumplings were pretty big with good al dente wrapper!eat filling was ok. I think the best of the bunch were the Wontons in chili oil and the Shaomais. The noodles were a little under seasoned. I added in the garlic sauce which improved the flavor. Staff were quick. Food arrived on our table in about 10 minutes. Good pricing especially for the size of each dishes.

What a delight! We dropped in for a bite on our way home from Sacramento. Kind courteous and helpful staff. Yummy yummy food. Having an ordering screen at the table was super easy. We even ordered some Togo food later! Definitely a yes!

The other day, we stopped by to make a pick up order at 88 Bao Bao, which is located in the shopping center near Marshall's off of Admiral Callaghan. We ordered their Won Tons in Chili Oil, Shanghai Style Chow Mein, Orange Chicken, and sesame Balls. Everything is freshly made and in a timely manner. There is a small seating area and they even have windows next to the tables, so you can actually spot them making their dishes. For the most part, dishes are reasonable in price with what they give you although for the sesame balls, they were a bit smaller than expected for the price. Everything was tasty but wish I maybe could try ordering the orange chicken with the sauce on the side as it was too soggy by the time we arrived home. The sauce for the orange chicken was delicious though. The employee that assisted us was friendly as was the person who handed us our order. Would love to come back to try other dishes!

My dad was craving shrimp fried rice so I was searching in a place in Vallejo for take out and thought I'd try 88 baobao's. I called in and it was easy to place an order. I ordered shrimp fried rice, sauteed green beans, popcorn chicken, and a side of cucumbers. My order was ready in 10-15 mins for pick up. Service was quick. This was my first time ordering from this location, I didn't even order any baos sio mai or dumplings but I tried them at other locations. They have indoor seating and the food has huge portions to serve lots of people and last for multiple meals. Located in the Gateway Plaza across from Vallejo Costco, so there's plenty of parking. Located next to Ulta and quickly.

Ordered won ton soup and pot stickers for lunch. Didn't get a pic of pot stickers but they are delicious. Soup and wontons are delicious. The prices seem high to me. These 2 items were $28.00. Really! I like their food but I have to recycle a lot of cans to afford this food. No, I'm not homeless, just a metaphor for working to afford something.

Finally have a chained dumpling place in Vallejo. We love dumpling and we always go to Concord to eat dumpling but now we have a dumpling place in Vallejo. We always order their pan fried pork bun, pork xiao long bun, noodles. Fresh made and delicious. This place is mainly self serve. You order at the counter and you find an empty seats your own. Place is a bit small and sometimes it gets busy.

This review is for to-go and Doordash only. We ordered from here a couple times. PROS: food was great! decent sized menu Such good flavor Nice to have a solid dim sum place added to the area--we need this! Helpful staff CONS: Small place Not a ton of seating Not the best area. Unfortunately i have grown up in the Vallejo area and it's not as safe as it used to be, but thats just Vallejo, and California in recent years. I've heard of car break ins and car part theft happening in this general parking lot and area I will always come back and order from either 88 Bao Bao Vallejo or Vacaville

Everything at 88 Bao Bao is pretty good. I'm especially a fan of the beef roll, fried rice, and steamed chicken dumplings. Service is super fast!

The food was delicious. The service was great and fast. The ambiance is clean but a bit too crowded. I wish there was table napkin without asking for it. Overall, it was an amazing food

On top of that, former Golden State Warriors player Festus Ezeli has been here and said he loved the wings, so we had to check it out while we were in the area. When we got there, it was already busy, but we were glad we were able to get a table right away. Good thing we came when we did, because a wait started forming shortly after. We did have to wait a bit for our food, but it was understandable--they had a steady flow of call-in and DoorDash orders going out. We ordered the garlic soy wings, salt and pepper fish, and shrimp fried rice. First off, the shrimp fried rice actually had real, good-sized shrimp--not those tiny ones you sometimes get--which we really appreciated. The wings were flavor town: crispy, packed with flavor, and super satisfying. Even though you can see peppers in the dish, there wasn't really a spicy kick, which is different from San Tung, where there's usually a slight heat. That said, even without the spice, these wings absolutely live up to the hype. The salt and pepper fish was also a standout--crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Overall, I can see why people compare this place to San Tung. They're both delicious, just in their own way.

We also ordered the turnip cakes, shu mai, chicken feet, honey walnut shrimp, and sticky rice in lotus leaf (which they did not cheap out on and loaded it with Chinese sausage and salted egg, which most places leave out). Believe it or not, the highlight of our meal was their water. Their water has a clean, refreshing, lemony essence to it, so it just goes to show you how much they value attention to details.

Whether you're in town for jury duty, work, or play, here is a good lunch spot. I walked into Aberdeen Café during the lunch hour. Booths lined the wall on one side, and the bar was on the other. Korean pop music played softly while other customers ate lunch. I was seated at the booth and was served a glass of water to start. I got the #2015 Salt and Pepper Fish Filet lunch special with hot and sour soup of the day, egg roll, and substituted-in fried rice. I was served the hot and sour soup first. It was a wonderful appetizer. The classic spicy pepper and sour vinegar were balanced. The bits of crunchy mushroom and soft tofu added interest and texture to the thick broth. This was comfort in a bowl. The entree was delicious. The fried fish was hot off the wok when it arrived, steaming on the plate along with fried rice, broccoli, an egg roll, and some sweet and sour sauce. I enjoyed the fish; the heat of the jalapeno slices and the salt elevated the light crispiness and mild sweetness of the fish. The fried rice was light and fluffy with bits of egg. The sauteed broccoli had a solid crunch, and the vegetable egg roll was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This was a good, satisfying lunch at Aberdeen Café. When I'm in the mood for comforting Cantonese food again, I'll be back for more.

I've heard of Yi Ji Chang Fen but only tried it today. I've eaten so much dim sum in my lifetime, so my standard for dim sum may be higher. We came around 5PM on a Saturday and there wasn't anyone really there. It could be because dim sum feels more like a morning or lunch thing, or it could just be because we were there for a very early dinner. Between our party, we shared: - Marinated Chicken and Mushroom Rice Roll - Stuffed Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf - Steamed Chicken Feet w/ Black Bean Sauce - Black Gold Egg Custard Buns - Chicken Feet with Herbs - Dry Style Beef Chow Fun And one Honey Lemon Tea for me. The honey lemon tea was a comfort for the cold day. Maybe a bit too much honey, but still good for the throat during the dry season. The chow fun came first and surprisingly it was not bad. There was a bit of 'wok hey' there and it stands out as one of the better dishes we had. As for the rice roll - I wanted to try something less conventional and I've never seen chicken in rice rolls, so I thought it would be interesting to try. It was quite disappointing though. Their rice roll was bigger than normal in width so with rice rolls being a struggle to pick up already, the bigger size made it an even bigger struggle. Everything just slipped out of the rice roll and it wasn't evenly wrapped. There were some bunched up layers on the edges. I think the chicken just didn't pair that well either and it was lacking in ingredients. Maybe the more conventional rice rolls would be better. For the two types of chicken feet, I normally like the one in herbal soup. If made well, the chicken feet has a nice flavor to it. For Yi Fen's herbal chicken feet, their portion was pretty good, but flavor was less prominent. I enjoyed the chicken feet in black bean sauce more because the flavor was better. Lastly, for the stuffed sticky rice and black gold egg custard buns, I suspect that these are not made in-house, but rather store-bought. The sticky rice lacked ingredients and the rice was a little harder than if made fresh. And the perfectly shaped black buns with a golden brush stroke on top (which I've seen all over the internet) seemed too elevated-looking compared to everything else. I'm not the biggest fan of molten lava buns, but they came out nicely. I didn't have any, but the molten lava custard was pretty runny. All in all, an okay experience. Service was a bit lacking. I don't recommend the dim sum dishes, but if I happen to want congee, I may give this place another go. Apart from the dim sum and rice rolls, the noodles I glimpsed from other customers looked not bad. I wonder if other locations are better.

So where do you go when the craving hits early? Enter Chowking. They open 7AM every day, which makes it fast, convenient, and perfect when you need something to curb that Filipino breakfast craving. Let's be real though -- it's not your lola's kitchen, maybe not even your mom or dad's cooking -- but it's familiar Filipino breakfast staples that get the job done. My husband ordered the tocino and longanisa combo. He didn't complain too much, though he did mention the longanisa could've used a bit more seasoning -- no brutal longanisa burps. The egg comes fried hard, so don't expect any yolky goodness here. The garlic rice had enough garlic to earn the name -- definitely not just plain steamed rice pretending to be something else. I ordered the bangus and received the head side. Nothing particularly standout about it, but I did appreciate that it was boneless. No digging through fish bones or worrying about choking on one -- and honestly, that alone was a win. Was it the best bangus I've had? Not even close. But it checked the box. I do wish there were options for egg preparation, but I understand -- it's fast food and they're built for speed and consistency. For the price and convenience, it's hard to complain.
