This place is a fantastic hole-in-the-wall spot for quick, delicious Chinese fast food! Their lunch and dinner specials offer an incredible value. You can grab a 2-entree plate for $12 or a 3-entree plate for just $13 and you can even add a soup for only $1 more. They absolutely pack your plate full, which is why the value here is so tough to beat! Pro-tip for first-timers: if you want the special, just head straight over to the food counter line to order. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that a few of the dishes tasted like they had been sitting out for a little while when I visited. Here are the things we liked and also one little critique from something that changed from then to now: Salt and pepper pork chops: these are super good. Nice and crispy and the pork is tender. Salt and pepper fish: I always go for salt and pepper fish anywhere I go and this by far is the best one! Mapo Tofu: they do it really well here. It's perfection and hubby's fav Siu Mai: definitely great! Would get again for sure. We don't have dim sum in Vallejo so this amazing that they have this. Dry beef chow fun: now, I have been on the hunt for chow fun that reminds me of my childhood and what we used to get in SF/chinatown. This was the closest! The first time we got it, omg. Mind blown!! We got one other time before things changed. The third time we got it and even this evening, it's not the same for sure. I have a knack for remembering taste and this is not the same anymore. If anything it tastes spicy in a way they added more black pepper? Something in there is giving it that flavor. It's also darker than before like more soy sauce. I'm a little sad by this. Probably the last time I will get it. I got it tonight in the hopes it would go back to normal and the last time was a one off. Sadly it was not. It's hard to find the og Chinatown flavors and cook on the food these days unless you are in Oakland or SF Chinatowns so I was sooo happy to find this spot to introduce my parents to. I mean, roasted duck on view upon entrance? They didn't come to play! You can order a lunch or dinner special counter style or you can sit down and have a relaxed meal. We got char sieu (bbq pork) by weight, roasted duck (by weight), eggplant tofu and shrimp chow fun. I wanted to do the three meat plate but we were there too late and they didn't have roasted pork. Like everyone has said - get the duck. Juicy, unctuous, decadent. We got a quarter pound for three but it was a pretty generous helping. Everything is exactly how I grew up on! This is the best Chinese restaurant in Vallejo. We arrived for dinner at 7 PM on Sunday evening for five people and were sat immediately. We ordered seven dishes. They were all well-seasoned and tasted amazing, but the must try dishes are dry pot cauliflower, salt and pepper fish, walnut shrimp, and peking ribs. The dry pot cauliflower was so delicious, I am still thinking about it! It is crunchy, flavorful, and has a mild numbing spice. They also have plate specials here where you can get 1-3 item combos. They have some artwork on the wall as well and a din sum and roast duck station. Really simple to order and pay. I only interacted with the guy at the steam tray table but he seemed courteous. Omg, this gem has been hiding in Vallejo! There really aren't that many Chinese steam table/ BBQ options in the area at all so that's already a bonus but the fact that they do Chinese BBQ (roast duck, roast pork, bbq pork), steam table combo meals that are CHEAP, and a whole dine in restaurant menu too?! WHEWWWW they're coming in hot! Combo meals are cheap! You can do 2 item or 3 item entrees + veggie chow mein and/or bbq pork fried rice starting at $13. Their entree options are plentiful too -salt and pepper fish or pork, lemon chicken, black bean spare ribs, kung pao chicken, mongolian beef, sweet and sour pork/chicken, veggie options, soups, etc. They fill up your container really well and if you do 3 options they'll put your 3rd choice in it's own small to go container. We opted for a 2 entree combo and a 3 entree combo so we could try a few different dishes: salt and pepper pork and fish, black bean spare ribs, kung pao chicken, sweet and sour pork. The S&P pork didn't seem to have bones. It was a little lean, not bad. The fish was good, but not as hot or crispy as I would have liked. The black bean spare ribs were soooo flavorful! The ribs were tender and hot. Kung pao chicken was a nice savory option. The zucchini was actually my favorite part of the dish. Normally I don't order sweet and sour proteins.. it's usually too sweet but sometimes you just want a little sweetness, so I went with the pork as it looked crispier than the chicken version. The flavor on this was pretty good, and a nice palate cleanser between all the other savory options we chose. The fried rice and chow mein were pretty basic and a good base to go along with the other entrees. We also ordered a 3 item bbq combo on the side so we could try the bbq pork, roast pork, and roast duck. You can also buy these bbq items by the pound or for the duck, it's sold by half/whole. The flavor on the duck was good but some pieces had a stronger star anise flavor than others. I liked that the duck wasn't too fatty too! The roast pork was my favorite. Crunchy top and a good meaty bottom. The bbq pork was too lean/dry but the flavor was good. Not too sweet. I do wish these items came with some sauce, but for the price ($23?) not gonna complain. For all of this food, it came out to about $50.. what a steal! Their chili oil is also really good, but you have to ask for it. I'm not sure if you're allowed to order to go and dine in, but we did. Otherwise, they do have decent amount of tables, including family style dining tables with big lazy susans as their dine in menus are all served family style. They have a really good dine in deal too! 3 entrees for $44 plus soup. Not sure if rice is included or not. I really liked the selection and quality of food we tried. I would highly consider this as an option for future party trays. Parking lot is shared with a Mexican market, Filipino market, and other restaurants. It's tucked in the corner next to Jalapenos. The lunch special is a good deal, 2 item combo for $12, $1 more for 3 items. Ended up getting Lemon Chicken and Chicken with green beans which were okay, not great. Also ended up ordering some Siu Mai and Red Bean Baos. Siu Mai wasn't any better than something you can find and prep yourself from 99 Ranch. Also the red beans baos ended up being the same exact brand I've bought 168 Market because it has the branded steam paper attached to it. Overall, a decent but not great place to pick up cheap Chinese food if you're on the go for great value as they also load up the plate with lots of food. Located at the old 3js location, I was surprised at how spacious this place is. First, for the value, this place is amazing, with large portions. Not the best tasting but does the job. 2 combo $11.99; 3 combo $12.99 for lunch special. I had so much food it was good enough for lunch and dinner. There were no other customers and I felt the food maybe sitting there for a long time. You also see some of the meat were dried out. We ordered an 2 items combo. It's a typical no frills restaurant. With a hot buffet that you can order and go or order off the menu. We had the wor wonton soup, beef with ginger and scallions, honey walnut prawns, shrimp chow mein, Chinese broccoli with garlic, salt and pepper pork chops and fried rice with egg and green onion and the food was HELLA GOOD. I understand taste is subjective, however this place definitely does not deserve the high praise that it receives in their reviews. As stated in my previous reviews, I'm a snob for Chinese food. I've been on the hunt for a place that hits all the marks and I always start off with a simple order of chow mein or fun. As I pull into the parking lot I see that my order was canceled. Cool. I assume they were out of the rice noodles and thought that since I was there already, I'd head in and place an order in person. I walked into an empty restaurant and took a look at the steam table. Oof, it looked rough. Like items had been sitting there for quite a while. The mongolian beef was so dried out it looked black, like jerky. I ask if I can just place an order for chow mein and the lady meekly agrees. I ordered a beef chow mein and ask if they can prepare it spicy. I prefer to have it cooked with chili peppers, but she says she can just give me hot sauce with it. I'm tired so I just agree. I got to my car and opened the container and realized she never gave me my spicy stuffs to add. Oh well. I did, however notice they use a really thick noodle for their chow mein. I took a bite and the flavor was OK, but nothing to rave about. I reallt didn't like the thick noodles either. I closed the container and drove home hoping my husband would eat it because he likes a thick noodle. I don't know if I was starving when I first received my order or what because once I got home (15 min drive) the food just didn't taste good, or even ok anymore. My oldest took a bite and agreed (and She's WAY less picky than me). The container is still sitting in my fridge and I'm sure it will probably end up in the trash. I don't know. Great local new Chinese restaurant! There's plenty of indoor seating and also ready to go standard hot foods. We were greeted right away and offered water or complimentary tea. They have a pretty large menu selection and good sized portions. We got the lemon chicken, tofu beef, shrimp dumplings, braised chinese mushrooms with baby bok choy. Lemon chicken - crisp with a semi-sweet lemon glaze. I actually didn't expect the sauce to be sweet, but with the savoriness of the fish I felt that there was a good balance. I would get this again, but would probably ask for the sauce on the side. Tofu beef - how they named this on the menu was a little misleading. I thought this was going to be vegan beef, but it's actually tofu AND beef with mixed veggies. I'm not vegan anymore and have been slowly getting back to eating meat so I was ok with this. Overall, this was really good as well! Shrimp dumplings - comes with 4 dumplings. Pretty standard. Similar to shrimp dumplings you can buy at the grocery store, but doesn't mean it was less enjoyable. Braised Chinese Mushrooms with Baby Bok Choy - Really good! Added a nice balance of freshness to everything else. They forgot to give us our rice and we wait 5 minutes after we got all our food to ask for it. When we were done eating we asked for a small hot and sour soup to go. The owner was really nice and didn't charge us for rice or the soup. Overall, I think this restaurant is a really great addition to the community. I think if they had more clarification on their menu and had TV's or music playing it would improve the ambiance. Tried Asia Delicious Kitchen for the first time since I saw they recently opened. We ordered a couple of the 3-item combo plates to sample a variety of dishes. Price wise and a good reason for 4 stars, you can't beat $12.99 for a 3-item dinner combo. The fried rice was unfortunately a bit hard--seemed undercooked or like it had been sitting out too long. It had potential flavor-wise, but the texture threw it off. The sweet and sour chicken was a highlight--good flavor and well-cooked chicken. The mushroom chicken had great mushrooms and solid flavor, though some pieces of chicken were overcooked. The broccoli beef was solid all around--tender beef and nicely cooked broccoli. Would definitely order that one again. The fried fish was surprisingly cold, even though it was in a heated tray, which was disappointing. The eggplant tofu was just okay--nothing stood out there. Overall, some of the items could have been cooked a bit better, but I chalk it up to the newness of the place. The staff was super friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain the menu. When you walk into this place, it's a make shift hot table/to go Chinese hole in the wall place- but not the good type. Food was okay, again but nothing special. I'm sensitive to MSG, and most Chinese restaurants don't give me headaches, so that tells me they may use quite a bit here. It felt like the food relied on extra MSG seasoning rather than quality flavor. The chow mein was loaded with onions and fillers, and the noodle dishes were drowning in oil while still lacking flavor. Most of the dishes were either overly sweet or under-seasoned. But the beef dishes were chewy and not tender as they usually are at most good restaurants. The only dish we somewhat enjoyed was the fried pork chop, but on our last visit it was mostly fried fat rather than actual meat. The service was also disappointing. After we finished our meal, we waited 45-50 minutes just to get our check because the server was focused on preparing takeout orders. The waitress then seemed confused about why we didn't leave a larger tip, despite the mediocre food and slow service. We've given this restaurant multiple chances because we thought maybe we had visited on an off day, a busy day, or that possibly they had a new cook. Unfortunately, after several visits, the experience has remained the same. Between the average food, inconsistent quality, and poor service, this will be our last time dining here. It was saucy, sweet and savory. The fried rice and chow mein weren't too bad and acted as a nice carb for my entrees! As for the Mongolian beef, it wasn't bad, but wasn't my favorite. I probably wouldn't get it again. Like most Mongolian beef, it's mostly onion, but I wouldn't say the ratio of onion to beef was terrible. I can't pinpoint the flavor but I believe it has a Chinese 5 Spice flavor in there. Again, not bad, but just not how I'd prefer. Portion size is average. For lunch (before 4PM), 2 entree combo costs $10.99. Service was quick and easy and employees were nice. I do love the variety of food offered here! They have their takeout but they also have an array of Chinese dishes that I'm assuming are made to order. They even have Dimsum on some days which made me excited. It's a larger serving and the Wonton is tasty. The Pan Fried Noodles with Seafood is delicious! They have the right amount of gravy. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that we have a Chinese restaurant so close to American Canyon. It's great because I no longer have to go too far to get decent Chinese but not so good because I already anticipate my pants fitting tighter and my wallet getting slimmer since I'll be coming here so often. I really like the fact that they have steam table options for the times I just want a fast meal to go but they also have a full dine in menu for when I want more of a slower paced family dining experience. I am so glad to have a Chinese restaurant nearby and a delicious one at that! I opted for shrimp with vegetables, Mongolian beef and beef with broccoli. They were generous with the portions and flavor is what to expect in each entree. The Mongolian beef does have a little bit of heat so keep that in mind. I will give props to the cook because the vegetables were not overcooked, had a crunch to them and cooked through. For a steam table I've always noticed how the veggies would be either over or under and it's a perfect middle. The protein was not tough either. They do have plenty of seating if you want to do a sit down and/or order to go. For right now it's cash only, but was told they will accept card soon. The staff is super friendly and was so patient. Had a taste for mushroom chicken they had two options, mushroom chicken or mushroom chicken with vegetables. I ordered the mushroom chicken. Only what I got was mushroom chicken with lots of vegetables which when I got home, I could only eat a few bites. It was the worst I ever tasted my dog had one bite and me and him both ended up sick the whole next day.. terrible food paid $19 for one order of mushroom vegetable chicken so not only is it terrible it's overpriced. read more

One of the things I loved about this place was the fact that they didn't have a thick coating of batter on their walnut prawns. This just leads to immediate sogginess. Unfortunately, the last time we ordered, the shrimp had way too much batter, like most places. I looked at my previous review's pic and it was different this time. I don't know if it was a fluke or if they have a new cook? I will give it another try, but I can't honestly recommend the prawns at this moment. The duck is still legit. read more

Went to check out this newly opened Chinese restaurant today for dine it. First time we went here was to order their take out combo. It's nice to finally have a good Chinese restaurant here in Rancho. We ordered more than enough dishes for just two people. Our food took a while to be served. But, they only have a few staff because our server was also helping in the take out area and also people that are coming in for dine in. Portions were huge. Our faves with what we ordered were the beef chow fun and beef with string beans and black beans and the shrimp fried rice was good too. We also ordered wonton soup (not pictured) which was good as well. Also, ordered siomai to go. An order gets you 4 pcs. Slightly bigger than typical siomai but this was just okay. But, overall we were satisfied with our meal. Price was decent. I highly recommend and will definitely be back. read more
