I love this restaurant. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed! The customer service is absolutely wonderful. The man who helped us I'm pretty sure is the owner and his spirit was so kind. On top of that the food was absolutely delicious. The rice cake stew was so savory. The chicken had a great flavor and very juicy. The seafood pancake was packed with seafood so I think the price is justified. The portions are very generous. I was only able to finish half of my stew. I will be back! Ordered takeout through the Yelp app and tried a few items from Korean Fried Chicken and Box. We picked up the soy garlic wings, spam fried rice, and tteokbokki. When we got home, we realized the "wings" were not traditional wings at all. They had multiple small bones throughout, which made them difficult to enjoy because you ended up spitting out bones with almost every bite. The gentleman at the counter did mention they were very busy that day, so it's possible they ran out of actual wings. The soy garlic flavor itself was good, just hard to appreciate with the cut we received. On the positive side, the spam fried rice and tteokbokki were absolute standouts--both were flavorful, comforting, and definitely the stars of the meal. If I return, it will be specifically for those two dishes. Overall, mixed experience but solid hits on the sides. With consistency on the chicken, this could easily be a go-to spot. read more

Uhm not sure how this place has 5 stars- this is by far the worst Korean Chicken Wings I've ever had... (review is strictly for their wings). We took one bite and everyone had a look on their face like wtf... I come from the east bay and maybe I've been spoiled by good local Korean chicken wings in my area but I'm so shocked this place said they're good. I had a family member at Kaiser hospital so I tried many restaurants nearby, including K Manna. This place was a huge huge disappointment in flavor. Yes service was great but the wings... oh gosh... Flavors we had were original, soy garlic and sweet & jalapeño 1- the price is insane for chicken wings. It doesn't even come with a side of rice, fries, salad or radish. Lame... 2- my car smelled like top ramen so it didn't even smell appetizing on my drive back to the hospital. I'm used to soy garlic smelling like garlic. Based on the smell I knew it wouldn't even be good... 3- the original (plain) tasted better than the other two flavors. I did not like the wings at all but because of the price we forced ourselves to eat it... Sorry to bring a mom and pop shop with a bad review, but this place had insanely high reviews so I was so excited, only to be left disappointed wanting to throw all the chicken away after one bite. It was tasty and REALLY crispy, not the level of spice I want since I like it very spicy like other Korean chicken places but it was still good, although the sauce could be a hint sweeter. The chicken with some white rice was solid -- portions were big and took care of business. We got the soft tofu stew which is a classic and could never go wrong with ordering it. I tried their Korean noodle soup (seafood) which is similar to a chicken noodle soup. The broth is rich and the noodles is soft and silky. This is a large bowl with pieces of mussels and squid. We also got the 14pc wings half hot & spicy and half soy garlic. The Hot & Spicy is definitely spicy with a slight sweet taste. It reminds me of gochujang. They're sticky and flavorful!! Highly recommend! The Soy Garlic is salty and umami. Tried the half fried chicken (supreme) and it was amazing! Loved the batter they used for the chicken. It's crispy without being heavy. Some of the best fried chicken I've had so far. Oh my goodness, this place is a 10/10, the man behind the counter said they've been open for about 6 months. It was kind of dead when we got in there but it did pick up a bit when we left. We had enough to take home with us and enjoy for dinner :) I couldn't get enough! Fried Chicken: 10/10 I base the chicken off how it is prepared more than what sauce comes with it only because you can have a great sauce.. but not so great chicken and vice versa. The staff was very friendly and the ambiance was welcoming. After a short time of looking at the menu, we decided to order the beef bulgogi & chicken Katsu box to go. We were not disappointed! The food took about 10-15 to be ready which was fair, and it came out fresh and hot. The beef bulgogi was really good and flavorful. The chicken Katsu was very crunchy and juicy which was nice because some places overcook Katsu. It came with sides: broccoli, japchae, rice and kimchi. They were all very good and flavorful but the kimchi was my favorite. It's probably one of the best Kimchi sides I've had. It was so crunchy, flavorful and just the perfect amount of spice. We went inside and ordered a half portion of the sweet and mild fried chicken, three boxes of the spicy pork, one box of the chicken katsu and one box of the beef bulgogi. The spicy pork was full of flavor and it wasn't too spicy for me which is great. The portions are huge! There's definitely enough food for two meals. The staff were very friendly. I believe one of staff I interacted with was the owner. The food is made to order so I didn't mind the wait. There is a table next to the counter with self service Korean coffee and tea. Finally got to try this place out and it did not disappoint!! We went in and placed our order to go. Menu is small which I like but lots of variations available. Waited and food picked up nicely. The server was so nice as he took our order and answered all our questions. Food packed very good and he even provided us drinks for the ride home which we appreciated and we did t live too far either. We loved everything and will definitely be returning to try other items and flavors of the chicken. The portion in the box were very generous as we had lots of leftovers and the price was a good price point. We paid $50 for everything including tip. The chicken was very juicy and the sauce was tasty. I would order this again. The wings were good. I'm not a "wet" wing guy but I needed to give it a try. I would order these again but I will ask for a dry option if they have it. The wings were also juicy. The service was great. Friendly and welcoming.
