Only place I can go to when I'm craving some Nam khao. Which always hits the spot. Portion side and price of everything they offer is worth it Have tried there Pad Thai with shrimp and chicken larb both really good and big enough to share, there not skimpy It can get busy at times but you can also call in your order, they do have a little area to eat if you do want to wait and eat there. read more

Laos food in American canyon? Out of all places? Is it worth it? Omg yes! Hits the spot for those of us who live far from the normal hot spots. For a food truck, the dishes are yum and wholesome! What I ordered? 1. Saigock (Sausage) 2. Beef larb (Beef Salad) 3. Nam Khao (Fried Rice Lettuce Wrap) 4. Papaya Salad Good lord! I wasn't expecting a lot but this nails it for me. So happy to have been referred by a Laotian friend. That says a lot! The only thing I wished I had done is gone up the higher spice level. Medium level wasn't spicy enough for me. If you can handle spice, go above the medium level. Other than that, this truck does not disappoint. Also note the truck is tucked in the back parking lot of the casino. Enjoy! read more

Kind of a hidden gem food truck behind a casino. We'd been craving Khao Mun Gai for the longest time and while in Vallejo, I looked up nearby restaurants and this one popped up and coincidentally, they had that dish on their menu. We almost didn't go because I realized it was a food truck and not an actual restaurant but I'm glad we decided to give it a try. There was a nice variety of items and drinks on their menu but we went with the Kaho Mun Gai, Beef Laap, and Nam Khao. Each dish was full of flavor and tasted fresh and authentic. The owner(?) who helped us was very nice and friendly and chatted with us for a little bit. We thoroughly enjoyed our quick dinner here and will definitely be back if we are in the area again. Thank you for the great meal! There was plenty of parking when we went (Wednesday early evening) and some outdoor seating. read more

My first time. All the customers there said everything is good. I ordered fresh shrimp rolls, fried vegetable rolls, pork sandwich, and pad Thai. I say it's good food though I was expecting lmore extraordinary because of the rave reviews. The pad Thai was good because it wasn't very sweet though not exceptional. There were a few whole peanuts in the dish and they were all burned black but that wouldn't stop me from coming back. The prices are great. read more

First time trying out this food truck located in the casino parking lot. We called in our order ahead of time and I'm glad I did because they get pretty busy. The ladies were super nice. We went on a Saturday and they have Kao Piek special soup of the day. We took them to go and enjoyed at home. We ordered a few things to try Lao sausage with sticky rice (its a must), Lao nam Khao(delicious), papaya salad and you can choose your own spice level, chicken wings (ask for super crispy). I want to go back already to try other things. They are also pretty generous with the serving size. read more

I highly recommend this restaurant. My husband got takeout when I was out of town The leftovers were amazing & I'm hooked Great food & decent prices & the service is friendly and quick - just order online:) We orders 3 items & ate for 3 different meals So grateful That Kob's Kitchen is here in AC - 10 min from my house read more

Ok Kob's! I see you and I'll be back! I wasn't so sure about coming here just because it's located in American Canyon so I was super iffy about driving over here and ordering food but surprise, surprise to me- the food is on point! It's a food truck with dishes priced reasonably. The line moves quick and the food is prepared quickly too. If you want to enjoy your food right away (which is what I like to do), there is a little seating area. Don't worry if you don't have cash, credit cards are accepted. The PAD THAI is the best here! I've been wanting Pad Thai but no place in Vallejo can make it good. Here? WOW! It's saucy and everything is so flavorful. The ingredients (stir-fried rice noodles, eggs, green onions, tofu, bean sprouts, and roasted peanuts) and spices (vinegar, chili, palm sugar, soy sauce, and fish sauce) come together to make each single bite- perfect/ drool worthy. I added shrimp and these non baby shrimps were fresh and cooked perfectly! The portion is a good size too! I'll be back to try other dishes! read more

Pad Thai is very good, specially when you ask for extra sauce. It doesn't get dry by the time you get home

This spot is a hidden gem in the AC area. IYKYK! This Lao/Thai fusion cuisine truck is hidden behind a casino. I ordered the pork Banh Mi which was only $7. The patte was crispy and I love the amount of veggies that they placed in the sandwich. Honestly my favorite Banh Mi in the area. Try it out if you like. :) read more

Super solid for the area! And still as good as oc! Friendly service, two dishes ready within 10 min Maybe 3-4 lbs of food for $30!! Chicken pad thai 4.5/5 $15 Maybe not as good as the first time, but noodles weren't overcooked and dish full of flavor. I asked for medium spice and they sautéed it into the noodles, there is a slight burn. It also tastes delish with their spicy lemongrass chili oil. Def one of the better pad Thais I've had ! One portion is def 3 or so servings. Khao piek $14 5/5 Still comforting! They separate broth and chicken from the gelatinous noodle soup. Homey and maybe 2.5 portions. The texture of the noodles is a good balance of chew and softness. They're potentially more chewy, but I'm a fan of that. Was debating on getting another portion before Friday ends lol read more

I've had Kob's Kitchen dozens of times, and it's consistently delicious and addicting. The Lao sausage is very flavorful, but the sauce that comes with the meal is the secret sauce. The combination of the flavor from the sausage, special sauce and sticky rice is perfect. The fried chicken is great, too. It's nothing out of the ordinary, but it definitely fulfills your chicken wing fix if you want another side to your meal. The pad Thai is delicious with a combination of sweet and sour after sprinkling a bit of lime. The magic is when you combine the Lao sausage, papaya salad (not pictured), pad Thai and the secret sauce. The papaya salad is a must-try. I usually get medium spicy. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you for the different flavor profiles and overwhelmingly delicious spices and flavors. For American Canyon, I don't think many restaurants can hang with Kob's Kitchen...and this is all out of a food truck with limited space. Service is quick. Wait time after placing an order over the phone can be 20-30 minutes. I highly recommend calling to place an order versus just showing up to order. Kob's Kitchen is a food truck located in a casino parking lot, so there are always people placing orders or waiting for an order. So, the next time you want a delicious southeast asian meal, Kob's is that spot! You're also supporting a small family business. read more

The best Vietnamese food in Napa county, the food is consistently good, staff always helpful and nice .Highly recommended !

Ordered Chicken Pad Thai today. Our 2nd time to order since we found this place. Warning: Don't order this pad thai there at all. We came back since the first time we ordered was fine. This time , we could hardly recognize if there's chicken at all. Ah yes... those tiny little pieces in a very scanty amount. There's added little squared pieces of maroon and creamy something, tough as rubber band. We assumed it's probably tofu soaked in colored water. Additionally, the food is salty , noodles are tough too. Very unappetizing. Waste of $. Would recommend and will never be bac read more

I had been craving Thai food and decided to order from this place. I ordered the veggie spring rolls the pad Thai and Thai tea. The Thai tea was really good! Strong and not watered down at all. Solid five stars! This place is honestly such a hidden gem. They're located in the parking lot of a casino so it's super low key. The owners are the kindest people ever, I've been here a few times and they're always so genuine. The food was absolutely amazing, I've tried their papaya salad, lao sausage, fried chicken, nam khao, and thai tea. Their Thai tea is a must order, it has the perfect balance of sweet/creamy. Their nam khao has a super generous amount of fermented sausage in it and I love how you can really taste the coconut flavor in the deep fried rice bits. The leafy greens they serve with this dish are also super fresh. Their Lao sausage is on the more herbally side and the portion they provide is huge! It's served with fresh sticky rice and this delicious spicy green sauce. There's a comfortable enclosed tent area right next to the food truck for you to enjoy your food fresh. I appreciate how it's fully shaded and enclosed so you don't feel the heat and it's super clean. This is my go to Lao/Thai spot in Solano county, we'll definitely be back! read more

Kha mun gai tod is AMAZING first time I've had the dish was here and I always get one order to share with my family when I do come here. This food truck is tucked away in the parking lot of the casino but conviently located off the highway! The pad thai was very flavorful and came with lime and a bit of veggies for that extra crunch. Kob's Kitchen is such a hidden gem in American Canyon! It's a modest food truck tucked away in the parking lot of a casino. I usually get their Khao Poon, and it is soo yummy! It's creamy, spicy, and rich. If you order on a Monday or Tuesday, I highly recommend getting it! Today, I decided to try their Khao Mun Gai Tod and Nam Khao. Both delicious and also recommend both! One of the best things about Kob's is their generous portion sizes. Most dishes I get last 2 meals for me, which is great since their food is so good. They are always kind as well! For one of my past orders, they said they started plating it when they saw me coming so the food was hot and fresh. I appreciate their care and consideration to their costumers. I can't tell you how happy I am that we now have a food truck like this. As of June 2025, this place is in the parking lot of the Napa valley casino. I had the special dessert drink with all the different jellied stuff in it and the papaya salad. I got the papaya salad spicy. It was perfect and had a very authentic taste. It was considerably bagged to go, the papaya salad was in a separate bag. Then the wedge of cabbage + rice noodles were separate. So it traveled really well. I don't recommend normal people getting the spicy version. But I'm an Asian who likes super spicy food and it was perfect for me. Since it's right on my way to Walmart, this will be a regular stop and I'll try all the other stuff. So convenient. Did I say how happy I was already? Lol. Now I feel as if I live in a real city. read more

The ambiance is straightforward... a food truck, that sits behind a casino. However, I was pleasantly surprised! Food: I ordered the chicken bahn mi and the shrimp spring rolls. I loved that the chicken is chopped so it makes biting into the sandwich easy. Also the meat was seasoned very well. The spring rolls were fresh and delicious. Prices are very reasonable. My friend really likes the pad Thai, so I will try that the next time I am in the area. The staff were very pleasant and thoughtful. My friend ordered food to go however they made it to order when we were finished with our meal so it could be fresh and hot for the recipient. Parking can be an issue as this truck sits on the same lot for the American Canyon casino. There is some covered picnic style seating for those that prefer to sit and stay. Overall a great discovery and fresh new place to visit when I am craving a Bahn Mi! read more

I got the Pad Thai with shrimp, Matcha Green Tea, and papaya salad (mild). The food tasted great and I love their Pad Thai. I took off a star because the Pad Thai only had 3 shrimps inside so it's kind of silly to pay extra for only that amount. The matcha green tea is pretty big. It was more on the sweeter side and I'm not sure if sweetness level could be adjusted, but I would definitely ask next time. Papaya Salad is delicious. But beware that even mild spice can be a little too spicy for some so I recommend adding a little bit of the sauce at a time when mixing. There's a tent, two tables, and some chairs on the side of the food truck. Not a bad place to just relax and enjoy your food. read more

Don't order the fried rice. I use to come a lot and order the same thing every single time but then the last 3 times I came, the rice was burnt, hard, crunchy and black. I told them about it and they said this is how they make their rice even though I have had their rice many times before and it was Never like this. The woman there was Very rude and bc she remade my order she had an attitude and told me not to come back if I still don't like it several of times like I didn't hear hear her the first time she said it. Kob's Kitchen is new to the American Canyon area. It's located in the parking lot of a small casino which is totally smart. They have Laotian and Vietnamese food. The Thai tea was pretty good.
