May not be your first choice because of the location. Don't let the location or the outside looks of the place fool you. Inside is a quaint little place. Beautiful paintings are on the walls. Nicely decorated. Not only was the food delicious, everyone was very kind, welcoming and friendly. The food was very fresh, flavorful and the presentation was excellent. Great portions. The deserts are delightful. We had the fried banana with ice cream and the sweet rice with mango. The prices are in the range of other places.

Best Thai food in Vallejo, hands down! My go-tos are the chicken yellow curry and massaman curry. The consistency is not too watery but just the right thick. Filled with flavor and good balance of chicken and potatoes. Moo Yang was delicious, the sauce that came with it was AMAZING, I could drink that stuff! Love the soju flavors and dessert options a well. Can't go wrong with their mango sticky rice! Only downside is it's on the not-so-great part of town so I wouldn't leave any valuables in the car or park as close to the front as possible.

Thai spot in Vallejo! Came here during a recent girls trip to Napa but we stayed at a spot in Vallejo. After a long day of travel, we settled into our airbnb and were looking for dinner. After a quick spot on Yelp, we found this spot for takeout to order and eat back home. Ordering was easy enough and we were able to pick up easily, as well. The food was overall good, we ordered the yellow and red curry, Tom Kha Gia, and the roti. The only thing that was a bit off was the roti which was a bit different than what we were all used to, being a bit more greasy but overall, a solid Thai spot if you're in the area.

Wow!!! I am so glad to have found this hidden gem. I was looking for Thai food since my usual spot closed and this place had my belly happy! The yellow curry was piping hot fresh and is some of the best tasting curry's I've had in a long time. The depth in flavor really caught me by surprise. I whole heartedly want to try to the rest of their curry styles. Pad Thai did have a slight spice to it, but it wasn't spicy to where no one could eat it. It was more of a subtle, yet I know it's there. Service was fast as I ordered over the phone, but you could also order online as well. It was ready in ten minutes, but it was middle of the week in the middle of the day. It is on the end of Sonoma Blvd so keep in mind the parking is on the street. The inside looked clean and well managed with a decent amount of seating. I would definitely be back

I was visiting with some family and after Yelping we decided to try Thai Place. We were not disappointed. I Highly recommend the lunch specials. We ordered the spicy green beans with tofu, Stir fried eggplant with pork and the cashew nut stir fry with chicken. They all came with rice, salad and egg rolls. The entrees were plentiful, The egg rolls were some of the best I have ever had! Crispy, light, perfectly cooked, with an incredible mouthfeel. We also ordered some Thai ice teas that came in huge carafes. Fantastic food! Friendly service, and neat and clean restaurant. Definitely worth coming back to try the entire menu!

Cozy, mom&pop style Thai restaurant in downtown Vallejo. Went there for lunch with a couple of friends, its decorated nicely inside, and you can seat yourself if its not busy. Our waiter was friendly and slightly confused by one of my friends commenting on how much he liked the spiderman decoration in the men's restroom; if they had followed the same theme in the women's. He laughed and said no....they thought about Barbie or Hello Kitty...but decided to stay neutral. Getting to our food....I loved what I ordered which was the Thai basil chicken...the sauce was so flavorful, couldve used just a little more steamed rice to mop it up, but tasty none the less. Overall good experience.... Ciao for now

Dined here with my family and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. The lady who took our order was sweet and checked in on us a few times. We had Tom kha gai, calamari, papaya salad, spicy basil pork belly, fried chicken fried rice, pad Thai, and green curry. The food was yummy and fresh. The pad Thai and curry were a bit watery. I liked the spicy basil pork belly, calamari, papaya salad, and chicken fried rice best. The calamari was crunchy and had a hint of coconut flavor. Support your local vallejo restaurant.

This restaurant was extremely clean and had a warm interior. Prices were reasonable however I thought portion sizes were off a bit. I ordered the pad se ew and the pad Thai lunch combo, combo was way bigger than the entree meal. Additionally I thought the dishes could have had more meat included in them. Service was great. Not a bad experience

Firecracker Shrimp, this needs to be a main dish!

Food is ok but the portion was tiny for $20. We spent $120 and They delivered with no napkins, no condiments, no utensils. I feel cheated.

Had such a wonderful dining experience at Elephant Thai Cuisine!…read more First of all, the ambiance is incredibly unique. The restaurant is filled with beautiful decorative elements that reflect Thai culture and traditions, which made the whole experience feel warm, authentic, and very interesting. One thing I really appreciated is that they offer half-size options for some appetizers. It's perfect if you want to try a variety of dishes without ordering too much. We took advantage of that and ordered the fish cakes, fried calamari, and chicken wings -- and everything was excellent. The fish cakes were flavorful, the calamari was fresh, crispy, and perfectly cooked, and the chicken wings were deliciously crispy as well. We also had the papaya salad, which was refreshing and full of flavor. I especially loved their condiments and dipping sauces -- they give you plenty of options to customize the spice level, and the dips were absolutely amazing. For the main dishes, we had the pineapple curry and spicy eggplant, both with shrimp, and they were honestly so, so good. Every dish was packed with flavor, rich, comforting, and satisfying. Definitely something you won't regret ordering! Lastly, their restroom was very clean, which says a lot about how well they maintain the restaurant overall -- from front to back. The staff were also amazing: very nice, polite, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. Highly recommend if you're looking for flavorful Thai food and a cozy dining experience!

I was overdue for a night out but opted for pickup--and the food did not disappoint. Everything people mentioned in the reviews is true. The Tom Kee Moo with wide flat egg noodles has that perfect smoky, charred flavor--nailed. The tempura shrimp are crispy and delicious, and the spicy basil chicken is outstanding. The shrimp and chicken fried rice is also a must. The staff are bubbly and friendly both on the phone and in person. The restaurant has a beautiful Thai vibe with artifacts, heavy wooden tables, and the signature elephant decor. A great spot all around.

So I found myself out in Hiddenbrooke visiting my mother and we decided to go get lunch-didn't…read morereally feel like driving too far after driving down from Sacramento so we chose the local restaurant in Hiddenbrooke, which I've always kind of enjoyed-The Loft Thai and Sushi located in Hiddenbrooke. This place is located in a small multi tenant shopping center located near the entrance of Hiddenbrooke with ample parking-so that was nice. This restaurant is for sure a local restaurant that serves the Hiddenbrooke community with most of their patrons being locals from the community. That was what we found upon arrival, most of the customers did seem to be locals in for a quick lunch. I would describe this place as an Asian fusion restaurant.-the depth of their menu was surprising-like "Cheesecake Factory-esque" level depth of menu.Their sushi menu was many pages and I hadn't even planned on getting sushi but after looking at this menu,I had to try something-so went with a simple Spicy Tuna Roll ($12.95). Off the Thai menu we decided to go with the Trio Meat Fried Rice ($20.95) Virgin Drunken Noodle ($18.95) Pad See U ($16.95) and Drunken Noodle ($16.95) Well I don't consider myself an expert when it comes to Asian fusion but I've had it more than a handful of times-so I can say with confidence that the food here was pretty good- very tasty-the Virgin Drunken Noodles were Interesting due to their use of glass noodles-the beef in that dish was seasoned well.I ordered my Drunken Noodles spicy and for that they delivered, quite a spicy dish. The Pad See U had really good veggies on it-very tasty and snappy. The Spicy Tuna Roll was pretty standard-the highlight being I somehow got my mother to try sushi for the 1st time by eating a piece of this sushi roll-she didn't hate it which I think is a pretty good review from a 73 year old Native American woman trying sushi for the 1st time. In closing,if u ever find yourself out in the Vallejo or Hiddenbrooke area and you want to give a small local business a try-this place is a pretty good choice-with a menu this big, your bound to find something on there that will make you happy. PS....I forgot to say I really enjoyed the house hot sake-pretty good flavor and perfect item to warm you up in this cold winter times we are in.

Up and U turn and another down the street to another U turn again to get back. Funny. Moving on. The food was pretty good - we ordered A LOT of stuff to try. Chicken satay, and tempura shrimp apps, yum yai (a mixed meat salad) and duck salad, and of course, the staple for which to score a Thai place - pad Thai. The salads were DELISH. Like both perfectly balanced with ingredients & dressing. We had a lot of leftovers, so when I tell you that my savory self loooveess a cold salad for brekkies - you can keep those sweet treats for yourself. Skewers & tempura were a hot with my kids after a long park afternoon, and the pad Thai just hits - unctuous, umami, a little tangy-sour, a little like feet, but loaded with meats & fresh veggies. A home run meal for all of us. Did I mention we got another meal out of it the next morning? Yep. Lots of food. We were so hungry after a full day at Six Flags, I didn't even pause to take photos - we just big backed right in. The restaurant even gave me a few extra take out containers to use as bowls/plates & utensils for that hungry hotel dining experience! Price wise, it's Napa adjacent. Our 5 items with tip were just under $120. The only downside, and I DO NOT think this is a direct reflection on the restaurant, is the card we used for our order was hit with 11 pre-auths for that amount. I think this is their 3rd party ordering service, Menufy, which I'd never used prior to this order. For those following along, that totaled over $1k hold on funds. That can be a vacay wrecker, so keep an eye on those cards. They eventually dropped off, but just be wary of holds, especially while traveling.
