Lunch special-- Chicken satay and BBQ Garlic Pork
    Erin E.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant so much! I've been going here since I was little and their food has never missed. It's such a cozy mom and pop restaurant and the owners are the sweetest people ever. I usually get the yum yai salad but decided to get the chicken satay because of the lunch deal. Soooooo good! And the side salad is so refreshing! I didn't taste the other dish (my mom's) but I assume she liked it because her plate was cleaned!

Delivered food, excellent service, and a traditional ambiance makes you feel right at home when dining in at Thai Kitchen. We ordered the Chicken Fried Rice, Crab Fried Rice, Pad Se Eww, Shrimp Tempura, Tom Kha Goong soup, Thai Egg Rolls, and Thai Iced Tea. Every dish was served with love. So much flavor in each dish. The Pad Se Eww had the perfect amount of spice which heightened the flavors even more. The Tom Kha Goong soup with shrimp was the perfect appetizer for me before my meal. The lemongrass gives it an authentic incredible flavor. Both the Chicken Fried Rice and Crab Fried Rice were a hit. Each dish was properly executed, hats off to the chef and cooks. The Thai Iced Tea was cold and refreshing, just what the doctor ordered! This is my new go-to spot for delicious Thai cuisine. Excellent food and genuine, caring, and kind service. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Thai Kitchen is a perfect place for a quick meal that is simple and delicious, and cherry on top is its BYOB. Portions are sizable so great for sharing. For starters, papaya salad has great flavor and crunch, while the spring rolls are crispy with a great dipping sauce. For mains, we had the shrimp pad Thai (as expected and yummy) as well as the chicken green curry (levels of flavor and just the right amount of spice). The staff was so sweet which made the whole meal that much more enjoyable. Seems like it's super popular for takeout as well so whether it's sitting on or take out, highly recommended!

Small restaurant, but usually easy to get a table. Lunch menu is very affordable and if you dine in you get soup with it!

Came in for lunch with a few friends. Cozy little restaurant with plenty of parking within a plaza. Fried calamari - bread crumbs batter. It's a bit thick and crispy but barely any calamari. It came with fried onion rings and fried green beans. Shrimp papaya salad - looks like a mountain of papaya but it had only 2 shrimps and a lot of iceberg lettuce underneath. Kinda disappointed. Shrimp red curry and shrimp pad Thai were good and flavors are there. Boiled spinach and broccoli with fried tofu drizzled with some sweet sauce. Not a fan with the sauce.

This place is a gem located in American Canyon right outside of Napa. Food was excellent. I asked for this spicy and it did not disappoint. The only hang up was my wife's dish knjy had 2 pieces of shrimp. She would've wanted a little bit more protein in her pad Thai. The staff were super friendly. We had conversations about her life in the valley and made us feel comfortable. This isn't a large establishment however it is cozy and intimate. We're lucky we found this place.

Plenty of parking. The outside looks like a western building and it has plenty of seating inside. Ordered the papaya salad, pad that, fried rice, Thai BBQ chicken, and BBQ garlic pork. Plenty of food for 3 people. Good food. The Lemonade Thai Tea was an interesting combo but tasted good. The BBQ pork was good. Both the BBQ pork and BBQ chicken came with a sweet and sour sauce. Overall good spot if you want Thai food.

Small restaurant.. plenty of parking .. great service! The food was so delicious with great portions. My friend got the pad Thai, I got the pad see ew but requested spicy (I have a HIGH spice tolerance, and it was definitely nice and spicy for me!), and we shared wontons. We had no complaints!

The fried rice was honestly had good flavors, the pork was a dry and tough. The curry was decent, lacking flavor. Would go back for the fried rice!

First time trying this Thai restaurant! The food did not disappoint, the lunch special was affordable ($15-18) with your choice of a wonton soup or salad and a main course. Thai tea was also tasty.

Built like a tiny house, this place feels like the perfect quiet dinner at home. Definitely seems family owned...service is quick and simple. I really appreciated the menu being spread out under the glass table top for non -contact accessibility. Thai food is one of my favorites next to mexican. ..that being said .. the best appetizer on the menu was the shrimp tempura platter. Comes with fried green beans and onion rings and 6 jumbo butterfly shrimps. Also ordered yellow curry with chicken and steamed rice. You can't leave without the drunken noodles! I love this place..will be back soon....ciao for now

As a person who has eaten a LOT of Thai food in the 'hood and beyond, let me be the first to confirm for y'all that they've dumbed these flavors down for the 'burbs. I tried this place maybe 10 years ago, and circled back only because I've seen it mentioned a few times on a fb community page, so I thought maybe they'd perfected their craft in the name of experience, and it's close to home. It was a flavor-lacking deja vu experience. :( The wonton soup broth looked and tasted like WATER. I have never in my life had to ask for hot sauce for drunken noodles. I gave a bonus star because they have lunch specials, albeit a pricey selection ($16) and my noodles dish was at least fresh. My $6 Thai iced tea was the star. I'm convinced they're appealing to patrons who have either lost their sense of taste due to the Vid, or have an aversion or alllergy to seasoning. I should've taken my $24 further down the road.

This place is super yummy!!…read more We were in Vallejo last weekend for a specialty dog show, and it was the end of a long day. I was craving Thai food and found this place while looking through Yelp. The prices and the food looked great, so we quickly headed over to Thai Place to fix our growling stomachs. Thai Place is a tiny restaurant but with a cozy atmosphere. We were greeted and seated immediately upon entering. We arrived around an odd time of the afternoon, so the restaurant was pretty empty, save for a few patrons finishing up their meal. I hadn't had curry in a long time, so I went with the pumpkin red curry with pork, while my husband chose the crispy chicken herb fried rice. For our appetizer we went with a potato curry puff (basically a curry empanada). I didn't order a Thai tea as it was later in the day and I didn't want to be bouncing off the walls that night, but from what I saw, the Thai tea looked good and I made it a point to try it next time we were in the area. Our appetizer arrived pretty quickly, and it was steaming hot. The cucumber salad on the side was delicious and cut the richness of the curry puffs beautifully. We devoured every last bite. Our entrees were next to arrive, and the portion sizes were pretty big! We hadn't eaten all day, but if we had had lunch, I feel like we wouldn't have been able to finish our food. The curry was delectable with a deep, bold flavor and the pumpkin was cooked perfectly. The pork was tender and the rice was soft and fluffy. My husband's crispy chicken was breaded beautifully and the fried rice underneath was flavorful. He also enjoyed the dipping sauce for the chicken. He took a small box of leftovers back to our Airbnb to enjoy later that evening. For the quality of the food we enjoyed, the price point of Thai Place is definitely hard to beat. There aren't many selections of good food in Vallejo, and I'm super glad we found this hidden gem. Our server was also very attentive and came by often made sure that our waters were filled and the food was up to our liking. I'd love to return the next time we are in the area for a dog show, and definitely recommend Thai Place for anyone who needs their Thai food fix!

I was overdue for a night out but opted for pickup--and the food did not disappoint. Everything people mentioned in the reviews is true. The Tom Kee Moo with wide flat egg noodles has that perfect smoky, charred flavor--nailed. The tempura shrimp are crispy and delicious, and the spicy basil chicken is outstanding. The shrimp and chicken fried rice is also a must. The staff are bubbly and friendly both on the phone and in person. The restaurant has a beautiful Thai vibe with artifacts, heavy wooden tables, and the signature elephant decor. A great spot all around.

But when you enter it's like you're transported to Thailand, the spacious interior teeming with vibrant aesthetics. The service was hit or miss, though there weren't that many people. We ordered a variety of dishes but the cadence of food arrival was very sporadic. I had to go up a few times to ask for napkins and water refills. I wasn't impressed with the appetizers- chicken wings and calamari portions were basic and small. The prawn pad Thai, pineapple and crab fried rice dishes and the desserts were pretty good. With so many Thai places that have great service and food, this place was mediocre. At least parking is free- probably best for takeout!

So I found myself out in Hiddenbrooke visiting my mother and we decided to go get lunch-didn't…read morereally feel like driving too far after driving down from Sacramento so we chose the local restaurant in Hiddenbrooke, which I've always kind of enjoyed-The Loft Thai and Sushi located in Hiddenbrooke. This place is located in a small multi tenant shopping center located near the entrance of Hiddenbrooke with ample parking-so that was nice. This restaurant is for sure a local restaurant that serves the Hiddenbrooke community with most of their patrons being locals from the community. That was what we found upon arrival, most of the customers did seem to be locals in for a quick lunch. I would describe this place as an Asian fusion restaurant.-the depth of their menu was surprising-like "Cheesecake Factory-esque" level depth of menu.Their sushi menu was many pages and I hadn't even planned on getting sushi but after looking at this menu,I had to try something-so went with a simple Spicy Tuna Roll ($12.95). Off the Thai menu we decided to go with the Trio Meat Fried Rice ($20.95) Virgin Drunken Noodle ($18.95) Pad See U ($16.95) and Drunken Noodle ($16.95) Well I don't consider myself an expert when it comes to Asian fusion but I've had it more than a handful of times-so I can say with confidence that the food here was pretty good- very tasty-the Virgin Drunken Noodles were Interesting due to their use of glass noodles-the beef in that dish was seasoned well.I ordered my Drunken Noodles spicy and for that they delivered, quite a spicy dish. The Pad See U had really good veggies on it-very tasty and snappy. The Spicy Tuna Roll was pretty standard-the highlight being I somehow got my mother to try sushi for the 1st time by eating a piece of this sushi roll-she didn't hate it which I think is a pretty good review from a 73 year old Native American woman trying sushi for the 1st time. In closing,if u ever find yourself out in the Vallejo or Hiddenbrooke area and you want to give a small local business a try-this place is a pretty good choice-with a menu this big, your bound to find something on there that will make you happy. PS....I forgot to say I really enjoyed the house hot sake-pretty good flavor and perfect item to warm you up in this cold winter times we are in.
