I have always ordered their #1, but recently switched over to their Bun Bu Hue. I like the meats, spiciness and flavor of the soup. I have given this place the benefit of the doubt over the years, but every time I go and this one particular worker is there, she never greets, smiles or is friendly. Not sure what her status is, but it is ABUNDANTLY CLEAR she does not like black people. I went to buy a boba smoothie. Not greeting, I stood at the counter ( she looked at the door when I walked in) what ever she was watching on her phone was more important than me patronage. After approximately 1 minute of being ignored, I threw my hands up, turned around and exited the building. It was at the moment she she started to yell " SORRY SORRY SORRY! Pretty good for our neighborhood Viet spot. Love coming here for their iced coffees, super strong and just the right amount of sweetness. On special days when I'm feeling hungry, I always order their Com plates. My go to is the pork chop with egg. Delicious and gets you full. Parking lot seems sometimes sketchy. Had a few run ins with your local street dwellers asking for money, but that's about it. Nothing out of the ordinary for this city. Definitely a go to spot. The food is always excellent and is served very quickly, my family and I have been regular customers for many years. The reason for only 2 stars tonight has to do with only one of the servers. She was older, with dyed red hair, and wasn't polite to some of the "ethnic" guests while we were having dinner. I asked another worker after dinner why she was angry with the other customers, in my opinion she doesn't like some kinds of people. My experience has always been positive, I guess I am lucky that I am not the kind of people that she doesn't like. My best guess is that she may have had bad experiences with darker haired people. Review: I had dinner here on 9/30/2025，paid the bill with my credit card and left a cash tip on the table. few days later , I found the restaurant charged me more than the total amount on the receipt -- without any notice. When I called the manager, he was rude and dismissive, only saying "the credit card machine had issues." That's not a small issue -- the difference was more than $5, and it clearly looks like a hidden or unauthorized tip added after payment. This kind of dishonest practice is unacceptable. I recommend checking your credit card statements carefully if you eat here. This means they manually changed the amount after I left, which is dishonest and unacceptable. My favorite place to get my vermicelli bow with no noodles. The servers are so kind and sweet and let you pick where you want to sit. It has been a long while since we had been to this place and I'm glad we came to dine inside today. The place was empty when we came in and it was clean, well lit and very warm in this very cold day. We were greeted kindly and told to pick any table. We got our drinks and placed our orders and it came out piping hot and quickly. The place started to get busy as we were eating too. I've been going to this place for years because of the cheap good food. Like where else can you get a whole plate with rice, eggs, a salad, and 2 pork chops for 13 bucks. Recently they added a few menu items that are all fantastic, the rib pho and filet mignon pho. While I won't say the filet mignon makes a MASSIVE difference with their regular beef noods the tenderness of the higher quality cut it quite nice and I think it's worth a few extra dollars if you have it. Location is a little seedy, located between a dollar store and a 99cent store. I never had any problems. Food comes fast and you get a glass of water. If you want a boba drink, soda or anything else for that matter, you better speak up during the intial ordering...because, in the yrs I have gone...no one has asked me how are things going during my meal. You will have to flag down someone for that extra water or drink you want. Alao, utensils are all out for anyone to touch and use on the table, if you are picky...bring your own utensils. I rarely drink coffee but when I do, nothing beats a Vietnamese coffee! I was looking around at coffee shops and you know what? Why do that if you can get a good strong iced coffee at a restaurant. I ordered for a group of 5 people. We all got iced Vietnamese coffee and an avocado smoothie. For a novice coffee drinker like me, this packs a punch. A little goes a long way if I need to be up and alert. I'm sure my Spidey senses will kick in after this cup. The place smells super authentic. I'll have to come back and try their food here next time I'm in the area. This review is based only on their coffee! Price is $3.50 a cup. I haven't had food from here in a while and was crossing my fingers for some good Pho. This place did not disappoint. I ordered the #2 Pho Soup, large with a Shrimp Cake appetizer. The broth was flavorful and hot! The Shrimp Cake was crispy and tasty. Service was fast and efficient. The young lady waitress got me ice water and a to go box with haste without me having to ask. Good food. The pho is perfect for rainy day weather. I usually get the #31 - two pork chop rice plate and an order of fresh spring rolls to share. I tried the fried chicken for the first time. It came with that chili-fish sauce, so it was good! But I think I would have enjoyed it more as a rice plate. This is a good restaurant but I'm always careful to park my car where I can see it. I ordered through door dash and they always on time. Food is average but today's order definitely makes me stop getting food from them from now on. I got spring rolls. The peanut dipping sauce was all foamy and the lid pop when I open it, means there was gas in there, and tasted sour; also the spring rolls tasted like soap, no not cilantro but soapy soap. I was so gross out I threw everything out.
