No. 12 (Brisket) for our hungry 10-year old!
    Lincoln T.

This pho restaurant has a special place in my heart because it was the first location that my 6-year old son was willing to even try pho! And for years, it was the ONLY pho restaurant he would accept lol Lately, we've been ordering to-go as it's a bit more cost effective than Door Dashing, and we enjoy eating in the comfort of our own home. We've eaten here countless times and never been disappointed! For take-out pho, the key is to warm up the noodles and broth separately when you get home, so you have a nice piping hot bowl! Don't just dump the soup and noodles and everything into a bowl...and don't microwave the meat...the hot soup will warm the meat without overcooking and drying it. Also, they are now open on Tuesdays. Thank you to this kind and hard-working, family-owned pho restaurant for delivering us all the amazing pho over the years!!

Good phở gà here. There is also a Pho Lee Hoa Phat in Vacaville but I prefer this one in Fairfield. This restaurant is spacious. The staff is also attentive and kind. One odd thing is the hoisin sauce is placed in a red container. Overall, a great spot to get vietnamese food!

Unfortunately not my fave pho place. Ordered for soup #1, the broth is tasty but the meat is tough. We ordered chicken wings & fresh spring rolls for appetizer but the rolls lacks flavor. They don't have cilantro & bread for soup # 30. Service is poor, we keep on flagging their staff but they intentionally ignored us and they don't allow service animal inside.

does this look like beef to you?

This place used to be one of my favorite places to eat but after today I will not be going back. I ordered pho with beef, brisket, and flank. When I asked the server to show me where it was on the menu, she said "it's not on the menu, we'll make it for you". This automatically threw up a red flag in my head as I've ordered it many times before but couldn't locate it on the menu. They proceed to bring out my food, at first glance everything looks good. About half way through my meal I notice some of the meat at the bottom looks like tendon or tripe, which I do not eat. I addressed this with the staff and they became extremely argumentative, stating that it is beef, and brought out the cook who stated there he did not put tendon in my meal. I let them know I like the restaurant asked if they can please discount my meal for the confusion. They refused and here I am writing this review.

Quality- we were given the incorrect order, asked for no tripe.. first bite was tripe :/. Taste- it's okay- my order of BBQ chicken with side egg wasn't bad, however it doesn't stand out either. Service was okay. Clean tables, so that's a plus. Ambiance- I mean it's pretty much your typical Pho place, stark white walls with open sitting. Will I come back? Hmmm gotta think about that.

    1. Pho dac biet, no tripes. SO DELICIOUS

3.5 Food great, service meh, price increasing. This place you ORDER first at the front and then sit down. Very strange and different from other locations and restaurants. The price has gone up a lot over the years which is expected BUT the appetizer prices are ridiculous. Egg rolls 4 for 10 bucks!? Are they out of their mind, that's over two bucks for an egg roll when the cost of making and ingredients isn't expensive at all, even at stand alone shops with delicious egg rolls sell theirs for less than $2 an egg roll. I even pay 8-9 bucks sometimes when I want it for my son but $10, no way. I can get a full meal with 10. Just crazy. The food is still good, service is barely there. I'll still come for their pho and rice dish though.

Best pho in town!! Don't go anywhere else. Most flavorful broth and amazing prices and service. It's hardly ever super busy so you can enjoy your pho there or take it to go. Highly recommend stopping by. My family comes here at least once a month it seems

This is our 3rd time trying this place. Today we decided on take out because my son was at home sick. Gentlemen who took my order was friendly and didn't rush us when looking through the menu. Food came out quick and was packed super nicely. Place was clean and quiet. When guest left tables were cleaned quickly. Food was still warm when we got home to eat. Will do more take out orders often.

Seafood soup with egg noodles. Fried shrimp roll.

Even with the hot weather, we craved for hot noodles and instead of spring rolls we ordered fried shrimp rolls. You can never go wrong with your order as they are referenced with numbers and the descriptions just underneath each choice. Service was fast after a few minutes from ordering. Pho is a comfort food for me and egg noodles are my favorite. The soup was hot, the veggies fresh and crisp and the noodles still firm but falls short of being tender. The fried shrimp roll was a surprise and became a favorite. Pho Lee Hoa Phat is reminiscent of the noodle houses we visited in Ho Chi Min.

It was lovely. I was greeted within a few moments, and seated at a table if my choosing due to the timing of when I was there. Other than the TV on at the bar, which I could hear in the dining area, it was pretty quiet with a chill vibe. I chose the eggplant and tofu. They even had brown rice available as a side--a rarity at Chinese restaurants in the area based on my experience. The staff was very pleasant, too.

Sticky Rice Chinese Bistro & Bar, Fairfield: 2026 Apr 28 (1.375 of 5)…read more WE GOT SCOLDED by the manager! I was at the counter paying the bill when the manager approached my dinner guests. She intimidated them by asking loudly why they were wasting food by not eating. My guests said they didn't enjoy the food, to which she replied that they're wasting food. How could anyone enjoy food that's inedible? She certainly did not give cause for us or our friends to step inside that eatery again. (1 of 5) Grace, server: Poor Grace looked pressured. She tried her best to accommodate us but I think she was 'shut-down' by her boss. I decided the restaurant did not deserve a tip but our server did so I pushed the tip inside her pocket. Grace mentioned that the chef is new and she would try and see if they can do something with our check. They did not and even raise the cost on one of the dishes we ordered. The price on the menu is lower that what they charged. This was an eatery we frequented for years and we usually enjoy the food here. Since we moved, we haven't visited it but our family still lives in that neighborhood so we decided to meet there for dinner. They don't take reservations but the eatery was half empty for a dinner-time seating. We sat down and was presented with their menu, which haven't changed much so it was easy to order our meal. We ordered Crab Wonton, Potstickers, Singapore-style Rice Noodles, Orange Chicken, Bulgogi. None of the dishes came with rice, so we ordered a bowl of rice. One of our guests wanted wine. Our server said the wine menu is not available, so we decided to get the house-wine. Our server returned to say the bartender is not on duty and we couldn't get even the house wine. I asked for hot water which never arrived. (1 of 5) Crab Wonton: This fried appetizer should have a crispy exterior filled with a creamy, savory mixture of cream cheese and crab meat (whether real or imitation). They are deep-fried until golden and served with sweet-and-sour sauce. The subtle seafood flavor is not quite there and the filling did not fill the parcel. The sauce here could be found on any grocery shelf but that's okay. I opened up the rest of the wonton for two reasons: (1) I wanted to see if some of them were filled, and (2) to make sure they don't serve these to unsuspecting diners. (1 of 5) Potstickers: These crescent-shaped dumplings should feature a savory filling with cabbage and ginger. They are pan-fried to produce a golden, crispy bottom and then steamed, creating a tender top, resulting in a dual-texture, savory, and aromatic bite. Although the dumplings looked good on the outside, it tasted gooey - not juicy. (1 of 5) Singapore-style Rice Noodles: I was very disappointed with my order. It tasted like the chef just poured curry powder over the top instead of cooking it in. It tasted gritty and the noodles lacked any savory nor aromatic notes. It should have a slightly spicy curry flavor but I did not taste any of that. There was no smoky or comforting yumminess to this dish. I feel that even a few drops of soy sauce would have elevated this dish - giving it an umami taste. I'm giving it a 2 because they used the right noodles. (2 of 5) Orange Chicken: This bite-sized pieces of battered, fried chicken tossed in a sweet, tangy, and savory orange-flavored sauce should boast a crispy, sticky texture with a bright citrus aroma from orange juice and zest. Instead, it had none of the garlicky, gingery, or slightly heated profile. There was no depth nor flavor at all. The dish wasn't well-balanced. (1 of 5) Bulgogi: This was the best dish we tasted this evening. The meat was tender and cut correctly. It had a mild and savory marinade but was under-seasoned. It missed the garlicky and nutty caramelized, smoky flavor. It came ala carte, like the orange chicken we ordered. They didn't even offer lettuce leaves, which usually accompany bulgogi. (2 of 5) Rice: Like the name says, the rice was on the sticky side - but cooked through. (3 of 5)

I drove a bit (from Vacaville) and glad I did. They are always so nice and greet all their customers. Even the ones that pick up. We ordered their fried chicken dish and they waited to finish it off so it wouldn't be soggy when we were ready to eat. That was thoughtful of them! Everything else was on hit - Pad Thai - combination: Piping hot and ready to be devoured. Was portioned to feed 2 people (but feed 3), even amounts of shrimp, chicken and sprinkled peanuts and tofu to round out the proteins. Bangkok Chicken Wings: Nicely seasoned and fried crispy. I loved that they waited to fry to service when we got there. It's the little things #score This is our go to Thai restaurant because the food is extremely flavorful and the service is top notch!

We walked in and there were a few people already enjoying lunch, but plenty of open seating. We were seated right away and service got going quickly. Always a good sign. There are lunch specials, but we went à la carte because I believe if you're going out to eat, you might as well order what you actually want. We ordered seafood tom kha, chicken & shrimp pad Thai, basil beef, spicy catfish, pla pad phed (trout), and steamed rice -- all requested not spicy because my parents like flavor, not a near-death experience. The seafood tom kha was a win. Dad was impressed with the variety of seafood -- shrimp, scallops, mussels, calamari, and catfish. He kept commenting on how flavorful the broth was, which in dad language is basically a Michelin star. The basil beef was new for my parents and they both loved it. The sauce had great flavor and paired perfectly with the rice. The pad Thai was good. Solid. Dependable. Not the kind that makes you dramatically pause mid-bite and rethink your life choices, but definitely tasty. Now the spicy catfish is what I personally come here for. It's fried just right -- not overly breaded, still flaky and tender inside. The sauce is always on point and full of flavor. This dish alone keeps me coming back. The pla pad phed (trout) unfortunately didn't land the same way. Because it's served filleted, it's easy to overcook, and sadly this one was. The sauce itself was great, but the fish was a bit too done. Overall, this place has been a favorite of mine for a while, and it survived the ultimate test: my parents enjoyed it too. I'll definitely keep coming back for the spicy catfish, basil beef, and their reliable pad Thai. And the service? Always friendly and attentive -- which honestly makes the experience even better.
