Last night my family and I decided to dine at Dynasty Chinese Restaurant in participation for our daughter's school fundraiser. It's been almost ten years since I, myself, have eaten here but I was glad to see that the old school charm is still here. They have a large dining area and Mongolian BBQ available during lunch time. When we first entered, we were seated really quickly and our host was exceptionally kind to my two daughters by being patient with them and listening to my three year old babble on on how much she loves apple juice. What we ordered: Egg drop soup - My daughters loved this soup, even my picky eating daughter. She devoured her bowl and even wanted seconds. Mu shi pork - I personally liked how I was able to season the pork with a little more salt and white pepper to my desired flavor and the crepes were soft and moist. Combination chow mein - Delicious. We had second helpings of it and the flavor was on point. Not oily at all. Salt and pepper chicken - Not soggy. Nice and crispy and perfect seasoning. Walnut shrimp - tasted excellent as expected. Overall, we had a good dinning experience. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again if given the opportunity. read more

Went in to order some lunch. There were a few people waiting in the lobby, and about two tables of people sitting in to eat. It took a few minutes before a waitress came out to take my order. She was wearing a mask and had an accent, and on top of that the restaurant was quite dark, so it was difficult to understand her. It took another few minutes to get my combination fried rice to go. Although it was packed to the brim and hot, it lacked flavor. Maybe they used low sodium soy sauce, but the darker rice made me assume it would be at least a bit salty. I can't believe I haven't written a review about this place yet. I've been coming here for about 3 years now. This is my favorite Chinese place in the area. My experience is only based on takeout as I've never eaten inside. Our typical go to foods from here are Shrimp fried rice (him), chicken fried rice (me) and sweet and sour chicken for me. I've had to cut back on the sweet and sour but I really miss it. When I come in to pick my order they're usually really nice. It's typically pretty quiet when I come in. I've also had the chicken and broccoli which is really good. Glad we found this spot when we moved to Fairfield. They also deliver and do pickup orders through Door dash. read more

We walked in 3 minutes after opening. The waitress saw us, turned and walked away. The phone rings, and she answers that before helping those who walked into their restaurant. I ordered pork chow mein and my friend ordered wonton soup. We were told ten minutes. 30 minutes later, my food is done, but the soup is not?!!! Too much salt in the hot and sour soup and pan fry noodles as well as the fried rice, reminiscent of Rickshaw take out. Came here with my family during lunch hour. Very friendly greeting we were offered a menu and were explained the pricing of the menu. Definitely love the decor of the restaurant very welcoming and clean. When it came down to the food everything was very flavorful and tasty. The waitress that wears the black mask, both of the times would just stand there after she gave us the bill. When I commented that I didn't want to be rushed to pay, only then did she leave. The next time we went there the same waitress was again rushing us this time to order. Kept coming back every 3-4 minutes asking if we were ready. I again told her we will not be rushed. We were rushed the last tube as well. After I ordered our win tons came out stale as well as rubbery when I tried to break them. Our replacements were chocolate brown dark. I refused those then we got egg rolls. They were ok. We definitely will not be back anytime soon. After all that we got who I'm assuming is one of the owners. She is so sweet. Dynasty is great! Their ambiance is quiet comfort. Very clean for an older restaurant. The soups were delicious! I ordered Egg flower, Hot and Sour and Shrimp War Won Ton. Looking for a place to get dinner on a Saturday night, we decided to try takeout from Dynasty Chinese Restaurant. We were greeted by a very nice lady when we walked in the door. Our order was taken right away. We ordered Lemon Chicken (me), Chicken with Black Mushrooms (him), and Combination Fried Rice (shared). Our order was handed to us in about 10 minutes by another very nice lady. Food was hot and was still hot when we got home to eat it. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed our dinner! Hubby ordered to go, Combo Egg foo Yung and Chicken Chopsuey. Considering the price, the food taste meh, though not that bad but not good either! Egg foo Yung is more like Starchy foo Yung, made of cabbage not the usual bean sprout and no egg taste. Chicken Chopsuey is too dry, too little sauce , probably to much cornstarch in the sauce. Dynasty is our go-to Chinese food. When I was growing up in Suisun I used to go to their brother restaurant with my family at least once a month. When I grew up and lived on my own hubby and I lived near this restaurant and we would often frequent them for take out. Now that we live in Vacaville, we don't get to enjoy them quite as often but any time we have a hankering for Chinese we inevitably drive to Fairfield (because Vacaville doesn't have good Chinese food). I was on the hunt finding a well-priced Pan Fried Noodles aka Honk Kong Style Chow Mein... and I did!! I ordered that ($14.99+ tax) and some broccoli beef. The pan fried noodles were everything I hoped and expected. Not too saucy and not too pan fried. It was delicious and just enough for 5 people plus for my lunch the following day. Some places that sell this have been so salty, not enough sauce or too much sauce, but at Dynasty's, just enough flavor, sauce, veggies, protein, and pan fried-ness of the noodles. I didn't try the beef but I did eat the broccoli which were tender and easy to eat. So if you find yourself in the Fairfield area looking for reasonably price and good Chinese food, I recommend here! Recently stopped at Dynasty the other night since we were in the neighborhood and were utterly surprised at how flavorful each dish was and the amount of food that arrived. We were also surprised when the owner remarked they had been open since 1991. We ordered hot&sour soup, eggplant, hongkong style chowmien, shrimp egg foo young, and steamed rice. Compared to the other night's lackluster and flavorless dinner this melted our tastebuds. All the dishes were exceptionally flavorful nor overly salty or sweet. I guess we found a new chinese food favorite. It's not cheap eats so prepare your wallet for a pricey meal. We tried 5 different dishes and the food was mediocre at best and terrible at worst. My wife is of the opinion that the Egg Foo Young may have been made with powdered eggs as it tasted nothing like real eggs. She ended up throwing it out. The vegetable dish was decent. I'm so disappointed. This is a restaurant I send my co workers and family to. While in the restaurant dining was fantastic I just ordered delivery tonight. The bbq pork was so dry and the chow mein was so oily with little flavor. I'm not sure if the don't do the same level of food for delivery but it felt like a different place. Both of the waitresses are very friendly and accommodating. They have vegetarian options but she was very accommodating with anything else I wanted to make vegetarian. One example is that I asked if I can get the crispy tofu but spicy. She also recommended soups that originally had meat in them but she said they can make it without meat. She was great at explaining the menu items to my dad. Everything was delicious. There were a lot of leftovers because it's a lot of food. Even that was gone quick when we took it home and usually I don't like rewarming and eating leftovers. We ordered crab Rangoons for our appetizer. This restaurant was referred to me by a kind target employee as we were looking for a last minute place to get dinner. The workers kindly welcomed us although they were closing in half an hour. We weren't going to dine in, but they told us it was okay and even told us not to rush when we asked for to go boxes. The service was was so great! They definitely take requests and make sure that whatever we were asking not to be in one of the dishes weren't an allergy issue.
