This was my first time trying this restaurant out as a dinner treat for Halloween. I ordered walnut prawns, House chow fun and house fried rice which cost me $48. I was OK at the price assuming the food would be good, the chow fun tasted like the cook had not rinsed out the pan before starting to cook and it had a soapy aftertaste making the dish in edible. The walnut prawns was just about eight prawns which was not a good value and they were overly sweet. The spring rolls from here were very very delicious and fresh as well as the peanut sauce that was prepared with it. I placed my order with this location through the Yelp app. When I arrived at the location my order was already fresh and ready for me. No waiting no lines in and out. The lady working there was very nice. There were two other customers inside dining in enjoying their meal. So they do offer sit down dining. Located inside of a well visited shopping center. Stuck in traffic on a Friday afternoon and the people in my car were getting hungry. We decided to stop here to let the traffic pass before proceeding. There was nobody else in the restaurant and we allowed to sit in. We noticed as we ate our dinner that there were a lot of people ordering takeout. There are only two people working the whole restaurant so please don't expect the service to be quick. They're doing their best. The woman who works there was very kind and apologized for everything. The pho has MSG which may be noteworthy for some people. It hits the spot for somebody who is craving pho tho. The vegetarian spring rolls were delicious and fresh. The peanut sauce with it complemented it well. It's always a go-to. The fried chicken wings were crispy and tasty. The pickled carrot to the side was what got me for some reason. Chicken fried rice was a little salty. But the lettuce and pickled carrot balanced with it well to make it less salty. We ordered various boba drinks that were not pictured. They were okay. Definitely powder so don't expect any fresh fruits. They were either too icy or runny in consistency. They took a while to make and came at the end of the meal. read more

I got there with my guest, knowing it was remodeled. We got seated and handed a new menu (expected). The noodle section was at the back, which was lowk weird but it was cool no complaints lol. We ordered two #126 with added tendons. I usually get rare steak on the side, but the lady had no idea what that was and said, "No, we don't do that here." I was like, okayyyy cute wtvr. When the food came, we were shocked. The bowl was tiny, and the noodles were packed in so tight they couldn't breathe. The steak was so tough you couldn't chew it, and the noodles were overcooked and falling apart. It was so oily that after we finished (didn't eat all of it), our mouths were covered in oil. Meet and Potatoes on Noodle House, I have found my Pho in Fairfield! I fell in love with Pho about 5 or so years ago, so much so that my wife started to make it. Not sure if it is the love she makes it with but it has been hard to find Pho that compares when I want it and she doesn't want to cook it for me. So I have tried a few places in Fairfield and the taste is just not there. Broth to sweet or to bland, meat with to much fat on it. Well last night the Pho at Noodle House was great! I had the chicken and other than me thinking their could have been more (greedy me) I slurped down the entire bowl! I would have taken a pic but it was gone before I thought to do so. This place is incredible! I had been traveling 12 hours from the East Coast, really I should have ended up in like the Caribbean or some beautiful island with how long it took me to get in from NYC. Alas, I arrived in Sacramento and made the journey to my hotel in Fairfield. My throat was killing me, I wasn't sure if I was getting sick or what was going on. So I ordered from here (don't worry I did contactless delivery to err on the side of caution) and it's some of the best soup I've ever had! I got the spicy noodle soup (I won't even ATTEMPT to spell the actual name of the soup, but it's the 2nd one under spicy noodles). I really enjoyed that everything came on the side so I could decide how much jalapeño to add, how much chili paste I wanted, bean sprouts, etc. I opted to not put my noodles in the soup (I've been carb loading in NYC, giving my tummy a break). It was nice I had that option though! The soup is so flavorful and I could feel that lemongrass melting my upset tummy and soothing my sore throat immediately. It was a HUGE portion so I have leftovers for tomorrow. I highly recommend this place if you want some delightful soup or pho. I'll definitely be returning next time I'm in town. read more

I have never seen spring rolls like these. The whole thing is basically filled with lettuce. Where's the noodles? The new management sucks. It also use to be 3 rolls and they downsized it to 2 rolls for the same price. Not a good place to order bahn mi. We ordered 2 of them and the bread were too crunchy that you'll be able to make bread crumbs from it. Probably it was old and still pushed to sell it. As someone in an earlier review mentioned,communication is bad. Restaurant is clean. First server didn't understand our question regarding extra basil leaves so another person came to help. She was marginally better in speaking English but not much. We also asked her for extra basil leaves and she looked puzzled. Said she only has basil, not leaves. After much a lot of repeating our request she went in the back , brought the extra basil leaves and dropped it on the table in front of us so that the leaves bounced on the plate. The worst Pho and spring rolls I've ever eaten. There was one little old lady waiting on everyone, bless her soul. She does not give anyone water, unless you specifically asked for it. We know this because everyone was willing at her for water. We ordered and show did not put in our order correctly. I asked for extra tofu in my vegetarian pho. There were like 4 little cubes.
