    Sweet & Sour Pork Luncheon

If you want good tasting chinese food, you must check out Mandarin Restaurant in Fairfield, CA. It is not too salty and has lots of flavor. In order words you will not drive your blood pressure up. I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. You will leave Smiling.

    THIS IS NOT FRIED RICE!

Worse Chinese food I've had in a long time. It was surprisingly nice inside but the food was HORRIBLE and Expensive. Sweet and sour pork lunch plate with "fried rice" cost $12. The pork was ok, bland under fried pieces drenched in sauce that got soggy fast. The mushy yellow "fried rice" should have been called rice boiled with bouillon cube. Honey walnut prawn was $16.50. The shrimp itself was mediocre, again under fried with a nothing special sauce. However the walnuts it came with was stale store bought sugared bagged nuts. $12.99 combo chow mein was the best tasting item I ordered. The host/server was a nice blonde lady. I didn't see the kitchen staff but I wouldn't be surprised at all if none of them were trained Chinese cooks cooking authentic Chinese style food. I will not be coming back.

Well this place is good not GREAT but good. I love their chowmein..... Still like i remember it from highschool..... The place however has changed. Its fancy now... Owners are very friendly and helpful. Food is good (as in ill come back good) Only thing i noticed today was it smell like cigarette smoke. Like a casino smells....not a huge fan of that smell...... But not an issue I usually order out ao wont be spending too much time in thw building

Other than the walnut prawns I didn't care for anything else. Have gone in the past but don't think I'll go again.

The mac and cheese bites are fresh, creamy, and delicious! We placed our order online and it was waiting when we arrived. The lady wearing bicycle shorts was super sweet and genuinely helpful! As we arrived, we were welcomed by the twinkling lights of Main St. and a beautifully adorned town Christmas tree. The streets were nearly deserted, and at the corner, nestled in a lovely brick building, was Main St. Bar & Grill. Inside, the atmosphere was serene, offering an intimate dining experience devoid of lines and throngs of people. I felt as if I had stepped into a scene from a Hallmark movie. The menu boasted an impressive wine selection along with a fully stocked bar. I indulged in a glass of Rombauer Carneros, while my friend opted for an 805. For starters, we savored the delightful calamari and asparagus, both delectable treats. Our main course featured gnocchi and prawns that were absolutely scrumptious. To finish off our meal, we enjoyed creamy cheesecake accompanied by a Bailey's Irish coffee and a perfectly brewed regular coffee, both served at just the right temperatures. The ambiance allowed for easy conversation, with a noise level that was just right. There were no holiday crowds--just the charm of a quaint little town, fresh cuisine, and fabulous wine.
