Food has changed just a little from the previous owners to the current but this is still such a solid spot with quality affordable food. I'll have to remember to take pictures next time. This brings me back to my childhood read more

Service was 10/10. Very sweetly greeted by a lady, order was taken, food was prepped and I was on my way home. Check them out and support your local neighborhood small businesses. :) read more

Food is prepared with such unconcern for the consumer, just there for the money. Tasteless, stale. Used to like this spot but the have fallen off big time read more

I have been going here for years with my father. I have to say it is the best Chinese restrant I have ever ate at... and that's coming from a chinese girl herself. The food never fails and the couple who owns it are very nice. I brought my boyfriend with me a while back, and he was instantly impressed. The pot stickers are our favorite! They do take a while, but you know he makes them right on the spot. Another thing to try is their crispy fried chicken and string bean beef. Both amazing! If you live in Fairfield I suggest going to this little hole in the wall place, you will be amazed on the quality of food and the amazing sauces. read more

This was our all time favorite Chinese restaurant but they are Under new owners. The regular owners retired. Food was not the same when we went. So bummed read more

Meh got to say it's better than most places not by much . We did enjoy our plates kinda pricy but would do in a pinch. Egg rolls were really good but they were over cooked burnt and they need to change there oil more often. Up in the air about going back read more

The family is very sweet who runs this restaurant! The food has been consistently good whether you eat in, take out or catering. Everything has been so flavorful and fresh! Food doesn't last long enough to take a photo. We are always eager to dive in. Added to our "too lazy to cook" rotation. read more

Best in FF. Hands down. Friendly, fast delicious! I've been coming here for decades & quality has always been perfect.

Nice little mom and pop Chinese restaurant that has been in business for many years. Food is yummy and affordable. I get the lunch special which is around $10-$12 depending on what entree you get, but always comes with crispy wonton wrappers with sweet and sour sauce, chicken salad, and your choice of fried rice or steamed rice. The fried rice is a bit bland and dry for me, which is better than it being oily. I prefer the steamed rice. I call ahead and the food is always ready when I pick up. Support local! Pics include: -Honey walnut prawns lunch special($11+ with tax): Prawns are yummy and crispy. The sauce is a bit too sweet and the breading is a lot. However, the prawns are still large and good. -Mongolian beef lunch special ($10+ with tax): The beef was a bit sweet compared to other Mongolian beef which is usually not sweet. Not enough crispy rice noodles in my opinion, but still delicious. read more

Food was good, service was horrible the lady didn't sit us down just pointed to a table. Finally after a few minutes brought us a menu, didn't give us water, tea, nothing; until 5 mins when she took our order. read more

I have lived in the area for over 20 years and have been disappointed by sub par Chinese food because of greasy, bland food or way too expensive for what you get. China Palace is amazing. I've ordered it 4 times in the last month. The portions are big, the food easy and well seasoned and the prices are great. I cannot order without getting chop suey. It's sooooo good! I honestly don't understand negative reviews on here. The hot and sour soup is perfectly hot and sour. I didn't have to add anything. Do yourself a favor and order from here. I've never had anything but dinner so I cannot speak for the daytime chef. read more

Don't let the average review scare you away, this restaurant is delicious, affordable, and fresh. The walnut shrimp is marvelous, the war won ton soup a favorite, and the BBQ pork bun/bao was amazing. The staff are sweet as could be. I came for my birthday tonight and they were very helpful to recommend us dishes. I've been coming here for years though, and it's always good :) read more

Still top tier. Best walnut shrimp Ive ever tasted to this day. Its a hole in the wall chinese place, very dim ambiance but staff is super sweet and the food is so good. Still ny favorite chinese spot read more

China Palace - I ate the salad that had peanut butter dressing. This is the lunch special that came with Hot & Sour Soup. - Chinese Near Me - Fairfield, California

Went for lunch today, we ordered chicken chow mein, beef and brocoli and a bowl of wor won ton soup. Everything was very tasty, staff was very nice. Will be bringing the rest of my family to dine in read more

I stopped in during the lunch break while serving jury duty. Had the beef broccoli lunch special and it was great. The staff was nice too, I asked if you could get chow mien instead of the choice of white or fried rice and they happily did it. The price was good too considering all the extras that come with the lunch (although I think i overheard from a disappointed take out customer that the soup or something is dine in only.) read more

Theeee BESSSST Chinese restaurant!! I live in Vacaville but I'll drive out here for the orange chicken, chicken chow fun, combination fried rice and spicy Mongolian. My go tos! Their orange chicken is different from other places. It actually taste like orange chicken instead of Panda Express syrup. Tryyyy it! I Love it. Just finished eating and I'm going back for 2nds. I like to order for phone pick up and they're pretty good with being ready in 20min read more

Decided to do takeout from China Palace. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly & helpful. There is a language problem that makes things a little challenging. I also think they are learning a new ordering software system as well. If you plan to order, pick up a paper menu, that works better. It has numbers for each item. Again, the food & charm of the staff, will bring me back b read more

Sad to say that food has taken a turn since Lisa and her husband have retired. Food is not at all the same and ordering is difficult. I will miss the wonderful food I've had for 30+yrs. The soups and sauces are without flavor and the egg rolls taste like they're cooked in old oil. It saddens me that the food & people I've known for so long are no longer here. read more

My family and I came here for dinner for the first time last night. They sat us right away and we ordered Green Onion Beef, Walnut Prawns, combination fried rice, and Won Ton soup. They had a difficult time understanding our questions about the menu so we just ended up doing our own thing on the menu anyway. The service was good but the food was very bland. The walnut prawns lacked in sauce, the Green onion beef was ok but lacked in beef. They put a ton on onions in it to offset the meat. The meat was however tender. The Won Ton soup was less than satisfacory since it hardly had any won ton dumplings in it and the taste was bland. The combo fried rice hardly had any seasonings to it as well. I did not want to give this place a 2 star since I know they are trying but we wont be back to eat here. read more

Used to be our favorite Chinese in Fairfield. The last trip left us disappointed. The entire front of house is in desperate need of a makeover. Menus were taped to the wall, there's a white dry erase board with specials that have never changed in 20 years that you can't read anymore because most of the ink faded away years ago, walls are peeling and need to be repainted, etc. The restaurant was freezing (pouring rain outside) and barely lit inside. We ordered several entrees and appetizers. Nothing really stood out flavor wise (fried rice, beef broccoli, garlic shrimp). Most dishes were dry and didn't have a lot of flavor. Our chicken wing appetizer came about 5-10 minutes after everything else we ordered. Asked for hot mustard (which used to be fresh and very giod!) and got a packet. I ordered a Tsing Tao (they used to carry that sapporo), and they only have budweiser, Heineken and get this....Corona. Mexican beer at a Chinese place, that doesn't carry any Asian beer. read more

This is our to go place when craving Chinese food, food is great! We usually get beef broccoli, kung pao chicken, chow mein and or orange chicken you cant forget the egg rolls. and the staff is friendly. We usually do take out due to covid they were only accepting take out however about a week ago i noticed they had lifted this and you can now dine indoors. We will come back to experience dine in soon. read more

Visited a few days ago, hot and sour soup, potstickers orange chicken Mongolian beef and chow mein. Everything was hot fresh and smelled amazing! It was a to go order and at home the soup was super hot and potstickers were perfect consistency. Workers were great and there is great value in the pricing for their menu. I recommend all the dishes we tried, they were all delicious. read more

I have tried this place years ago and they were good. But now , not so sure. They are NOT open for dine in , first of all. I ordered the shrimp in lobster sauce which was so salty and really not lobster sauce. I'm so sad. read more

Save your $$$. My mom was craving Chinese food and highly suggested I order food from this restaurant. I ordered the following items: 1. Shrimp fried rice it had 4 shrimps, rice was overcooked, mushy and no taste 2. Chicken broccoli was over cooked and horrible 3. Fried pork ribs... No idea how to even describe it. Uneditable 4. Pork chow main was indescribable A total waste of $52 NEVER again! I work to hard to throw away $$ and food. read more

Wow I think I found my new favorite Chinese joint in Fairfield! Got my usual potstickers and shrimp chow mein with no vegetables. The potsticker wrapping was average but the filling actually had a lot of flavor. The noodles were not full in the box, but great flavor and texture. And passed the microwave test. Can't wait to try more of their stuff! read more

The food here is delicious. I first discovered this place about five or six years ago, and each time I've ordered the food always comes out fresh and hot. That's what I like most about this place, the food is freshly cooked. It's also very flavorful and I've never been disappointed, not once. I've tried a lot of the food items over the years, including the fried rice, chow mein, orange chicken, sweet & sour chicken, kung pao chicken, egg rolls, fried chicken wings, and hot & sour soup- all of the items were good and fresh to order as I stated previously. If you're looking for good and fresh Chinese cuisine, this is your place. read more

They were nice & friendly but I ordered the lunch special to go of course for covid. But I ordered my food sat in the waiting area and I could here them warm up my food. After walking past this place a few times over the months, I decided to finally try it! I got the 魚香茄子 (egg plant with hot and spicy sauce), which is a favorite dish of mine! Flavors were good, not very spicy! Staff was kind. I'll be back to try their other stuff :) read more

The worst. They added the sizzling rice to the soup in my to-go order, but the food was flavorless and overpriced. The interior was old and stale, to the point I hated even sitting there waiting for my order. I'll never be back. read more

My in-laws love this place. It's the only take-out Chinese that they ever order. Normally, I'm okay with it. But last night it got me sick.. I've definitely had better Chinese food before. The Mongolian beef here is pretty good. The walnut shrimp has too much sauce on it sometimes but its decent. I ended up on the golden throne for a good 20 minutes because of eating here last night.. Its all good, I got caught up on my newest Maxim subscription. I am willing to give this place another go, I'll just be cautious next time. read more

The food used to be good but has gone down hill. The Won Ton soup is just liquid and seaweed with two or three wontons.

Love this place,I remember as a kid having family dinner here & we still order from here.

Came here and ordered take out lunch. Had orange chicken, fried rice. It came with a chicken salad and a little fried wonton Orange chicken was crispy and perfectly sweet. The fried rice kind of had a funny taste to it. I will assume its bulk made for the lunch hour and Im willing to give it another chance. Been coming to this place for Lunch Specials for years now. It's one of my most favorite Chinese lunch specials in Fairfield. With soup, salad, fried rice, entrée of choice and fried wonton, you can't go wrong here. I love the walnut shrimp here but I must say they go a bit overboard on the batter leaving me with big pieces that turn in regular sized shrimps and lots of fried batter. I still love it though! read more
