Delicious Vietnamese food with friendly service! Street parking outside the restaurant. Decided to have lunch here on a Sunday. We walked in and were greeted right away and told to sit anywhere we like. More people came in after us. Seems like a popular spot. The food we ordered came out fast. Here's what we got: * Steak, brisket, and flank pho, $14.50 - big bowl of pho. Didn't try it, but my fiancé said it was really good. * Combo (cold cut) banh mi, $7.50 - big, tasty sandwich cut in half. Veggies on it tasted fresh and the cold cuts were tasty. * Fresh spring rolls (2, cut in half), $6.95 - 4 huge halves with fresh tasting veggies and perfectly cooked shrimp and pork. The peanut sauce with it was good too. * Wintermelon green tea with salted cream, $5.95 - just the right amount of sweet for me and you could taste the yummy wintermelon flavor. Appreciated the salted cream on top too and they added a generous amount. This hit the spot for my craving for wintermelon tea. When we were done, we paid up front. Service was friendly and welcoming and I loved the ambiance. The inside was nicely decorated, clean, and the tables weren't too close to each other. Everything we ordered was delicious and tasted fresh. I would love to come back and try their flan!

    Welcome to Saigon Nho.

SaiGon Nho is a quaint family run eatery that offer authentic Vietnamese cuisine. It is located at Texas st between Webster and Jefferson street in downtown Fairfield, CA. They have breadth of traditional Vietnamese food at a very reasonable price. From their aromatic pho to savory rice meals, every bite was made with the freshest ingredients and traditional recipes. Today, I was craving some South East Asian food. And minutes later I'm at Saigon Nho. Interior seats were spacious with relaxing atmosphere. I swiftly perused their menu, and ordered a Chicken Vermicelli with veggies (Bún gá núóng). And it was very flavorful, fresh and tasty. Probably better than those they serve in Los Angeles. Staff (Tony) was attentive young lad. Prices were a huge bang for your bucks. Serving was abundant. Street parking was easy. Overall, Saigon Nho has authentic flavor and I highly recommend them.

Great reviews got me in the door, along with a solid menu. The prices were lower than I expected, and I was greeted and directed to choose where to sit immediately. Despite getting the bun bo hue soup, a more complex item to make, my order arrived quickly. Full of flavor, generous portions, and authentic sauces to mix to your hearts content, I am writing this without a bad food comma. Clean environment, fresh and friendly, and all that I could want from the food and experience.

We were staying in Fairfield for the yearly Woofstock Dog Show in Vallejo and I was craaaving pho. SaiGon Nho caught my eye, especially the price point of the pho, so we decided to go try it out! I was definitely not expecting such good pho in Fairfield. This place hits! For $12.95 in 2025 the price is hard to beat, and yet the quality of the broth, meat, condiments, and noodles is not jeopardized. I went with the build your own while my husband went with the dac biet. Our steaming hot bowls arrived to our table quickly. We were starving, so this was perfect. I particularly enjoyed the cleanliness of the pho broth. The meats were tender, and there was plenty of noodles as well. In the neatly-organized condiment section of each table, they have chili oil available for you to add as well, which we promptly added. Even tho it was only $12.95 per bowl, we were full after finishing our pho. The service was attentive, and the restaurant was clean and open-concept. While we are not going to be back in the Fairfield area for a while, I am looking forward to our next visit and will definitely go to SaiGon Nho again for my pho fix if we're in the area! I saw that there were other menu items available, such as rice plates and vermicelli bowls, so if you're not in the mood for pho, they have other offerings as well. In the dearth of good Vietnamese food in the 707 area, this place is hard to beat. Kudos to SaiGon Nho for providing delicious Vietnamese dishes in downtown Fairfield!

6 stars if I can give it!! Quality/Quantity - Wow, my new favorite Bahn Mi Sandwich place!!! Today we got the following - Grilled pork and grilled chicken. Both of which were of generous size and with generous meats. I was only able to eat half of mine while my wife only ate ! I also like the fact that they put the garnish, toppings on the side; see pictures. The meats were tender and flavorful. The veggies were lightly pickled. The pork had some fat on it, but in a good way. It added more flavor and textures. Atmosphere - Decent size local restaurant. See picture. Major construction in the street, but it did not seem to disrupt their business too much. Many regulars here. Open 6 days a week, from 10am or 11am to 8pm; closed Mondays. Huge clean unisex restroom. Street parking, well not during construction. Actually not too bad. We parked around the corner and got the first space. Service - Counter service for us today, as it is a travel day back home for us. Price - $15, inexpensive for what we got. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2024, we WILL be regular customers now! I look forward to trying all your other menu items.

Saigon Nho is fantastic. From the moment I walked in, the staff were fast, friendly, and welcoming. The whole place gave off that familiar, homey vibe that reminded me of the weekly spots I used to visit back in the Northeast. It immediately felt comfortable, like somewhere you could easily make your go-to. The prices here are great, especially for the quality and portion sizes you get. I love that they offer customization options like adding extra noodles or extra meats to your pho. It shows they really care about giving customers a full experience. The pho broth was clean, flavorful, and rich, without being greasy or heavy. Best part is, it was so well seasoned that I did not need to dump in hoisin, sriracha, or any of the usual culprits. You could tell they put time and care into crafting a broth that stands on its own. I also ordered the Com Dac Biet (#22) to-go for later, and it was seriously impressive. The way they packed the food showed a lot of thought and pride. They individually foiled the pork chops and bagged the steamed egg meatloaf separately inside the container, so nothing got soggy or overcooked during the wait. Even after reheating five hours later, the meal tasted fresh and delicious, like it just came out of the kitchen. The egg meatloaf was especially memorable -- a very generous portion, packed with flavor, and the texture was spot on with the right amount of meat, egg, and fillers, about the size of a big egg tart. It felt like a true homemade dish, not something thrown together. Inside, the restaurant was very clean, bright, and spacious with plenty of seating for groups or solo diners. It is clear they take pride not just in their food, but in the whole dining experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the whole visit and honestly, Saigon Nho beats a lot of the joints I have tried in the city by a mile. On top of all that, they have a rewards card system where you can earn a free drink after ten visits. I love little touches like that. It shows they are focused on building a loyal customer base, not just running a restaurant. I cannot wait to come back to try their freshly made drinks and other specials I saw on the menu. Saigon Nho is definitely a new favorite and easily worth a drive out to Fairfield for a meal that feels like home.

I actually really enjoyed this pho spot that my friend found! I'm rating it 4 stars only because it was super quiet and a bit uncomfortable to talk/eat with no background noise, especially since we were the only customers there at the time. We came at 11am on a Friday morning. Other than that, the food was verrry delicious and everything hit the spot! I'd recommend their crispy egg rolls and I got the #1 on their special noodle soup menu

So i'm not a pho fan but I was craving something soup-y with noodles. I found SaiGon Nho on Yelp and decided to check it out. There are a lot of mix reviews about their pho and everyone entitled to their opinions. In my opinion, I do not think their broth is "oily" or proportions of noodles to broth is off. I had a good amount of noodles, broth and protein. I ordered the Tofu Pho with Chicken Broth and it was exactly what I needed. It was light, provided me warmth and comfort, and the noodles were thin and tender. The tofu is fried but it paired well with the broth and noodles. Yelp Elite Dario O. ordered the Grilled Pork Rice plate and even that was delicious! We also ordered their spring rolls and the peanut sauce was addicting!! I could have smothered the whole spring roll in that sauce. We also shared an Avocado Smoothie which was smooth and tasted like an avocado. The ambiance is very quiet. The restaurant is lit up with bright lights and pretty decoration. Staff was kind and service was pretty quick. I would def come back for another bowl of pho.

This is the place to be! I know I've raved about the other local Vietnamese restaurants, but this definitely takes the spot! Their pho broth is very flavorful in depth and everything in the bowl just goes so well together. The pork bahn mi sandwiches are the best and it's definitely loaded with the meats. Appetizers are a must!! Especially their egg rolls and fresh rolls! Service is always awesome and the workers always check in on you and refill your drinks. The place is always very welcoming and clean. My favorite place to have family lunch/dinner.

Great service, clean spot and yummy food. The rice plates come with a side of soup. But kinda sucks that at that day the soup was cold. But the Thai tea is good and great for the price. I would try their other drinks as well!

    Banh mi with grilled pork
    Antoinette C.

This is the first time I have had pho that tastes like absolutely nothing and yet is so oily. I added all the toppings, the Sriracha and the hoisin sauce and it still tastes like nothing. I even added a few dashes of fish sauce and the flavor was very muted. My husband ordered the chicken pho with beef broth and while his dish had more flavor, he also agreed that it was very bland. I'm very happy that I also ordered a grilled pork banh mi and a Vietnamese coffee. The pickled veggies on the banh mi were perfectly crunchy I appreciated the sweetness of the grilled pork. Holy wow, the Vietnamese coffee packs a heavy punch. It's bitter and sweet at the same time and paired well with the banh mi. Service was fast and friendly and the interior was very clean and bright. Overall, I would save avoid the pho, come for the banh mi or the coffee.

It was lovely. I was greeted within a few moments, and seated at a table if my choosing due to the timing of when I was there. Other than the TV on at the bar, which I could hear in the dining area, it was pretty quiet with a chill vibe. I chose the eggplant and tofu. They even had brown rice available as a side--a rarity at Chinese restaurants in the area based on my experience. The staff was very pleasant, too.

Sticky Rice Chinese Bistro & Bar, Fairfield: 2026 Apr 28 (1.375 of 5)…read more WE GOT SCOLDED by the manager! I was at the counter paying the bill when the manager approached my dinner guests. She intimidated them by asking loudly why they were wasting food by not eating. My guests said they didn't enjoy the food, to which she replied that they're wasting food. How could anyone enjoy food that's inedible? She certainly did not give cause for us or our friends to step inside that eatery again. (1 of 5) Grace, server: Poor Grace looked pressured. She tried her best to accommodate us but I think she was 'shut-down' by her boss. I decided the restaurant did not deserve a tip but our server did so I pushed the tip inside her pocket. Grace mentioned that the chef is new and she would try and see if they can do something with our check. They did not and even raise the cost on one of the dishes we ordered. The price on the menu is lower that what they charged. This was an eatery we frequented for years and we usually enjoy the food here. Since we moved, we haven't visited it but our family still lives in that neighborhood so we decided to meet there for dinner. They don't take reservations but the eatery was half empty for a dinner-time seating. We sat down and was presented with their menu, which haven't changed much so it was easy to order our meal. We ordered Crab Wonton, Potstickers, Singapore-style Rice Noodles, Orange Chicken, Bulgogi. None of the dishes came with rice, so we ordered a bowl of rice. One of our guests wanted wine. Our server said the wine menu is not available, so we decided to get the house-wine. Our server returned to say the bartender is not on duty and we couldn't get even the house wine. I asked for hot water which never arrived. (1 of 5) Crab Wonton: This fried appetizer should have a crispy exterior filled with a creamy, savory mixture of cream cheese and crab meat (whether real or imitation). They are deep-fried until golden and served with sweet-and-sour sauce. The subtle seafood flavor is not quite there and the filling did not fill the parcel. The sauce here could be found on any grocery shelf but that's okay. I opened up the rest of the wonton for two reasons: (1) I wanted to see if some of them were filled, and (2) to make sure they don't serve these to unsuspecting diners. (1 of 5) Potstickers: These crescent-shaped dumplings should feature a savory filling with cabbage and ginger. They are pan-fried to produce a golden, crispy bottom and then steamed, creating a tender top, resulting in a dual-texture, savory, and aromatic bite. Although the dumplings looked good on the outside, it tasted gooey - not juicy. (1 of 5) Singapore-style Rice Noodles: I was very disappointed with my order. It tasted like the chef just poured curry powder over the top instead of cooking it in. It tasted gritty and the noodles lacked any savory nor aromatic notes. It should have a slightly spicy curry flavor but I did not taste any of that. There was no smoky or comforting yumminess to this dish. I feel that even a few drops of soy sauce would have elevated this dish - giving it an umami taste. I'm giving it a 2 because they used the right noodles. (2 of 5) Orange Chicken: This bite-sized pieces of battered, fried chicken tossed in a sweet, tangy, and savory orange-flavored sauce should boast a crispy, sticky texture with a bright citrus aroma from orange juice and zest. Instead, it had none of the garlicky, gingery, or slightly heated profile. There was no depth nor flavor at all. The dish wasn't well-balanced. (1 of 5) Bulgogi: This was the best dish we tasted this evening. The meat was tender and cut correctly. It had a mild and savory marinade but was under-seasoned. It missed the garlicky and nutty caramelized, smoky flavor. It came ala carte, like the orange chicken we ordered. They didn't even offer lettuce leaves, which usually accompany bulgogi. (2 of 5) Rice: Like the name says, the rice was on the sticky side - but cooked through. (3 of 5)

There are lunch specials, but we went à la carte because I believe if you're going out to eat, you might as well order what you actually want. We ordered seafood tom kha, chicken & shrimp pad Thai, basil beef, spicy catfish, pla pad phed (trout), and steamed rice -- all requested not spicy because my parents like flavor, not a near-death experience. The seafood tom kha was a win. Dad was impressed with the variety of seafood -- shrimp, scallops, mussels, calamari, and catfish. He kept commenting on how flavorful the broth was, which in dad language is basically a Michelin star. The basil beef was new for my parents and they both loved it. The sauce had great flavor and paired perfectly with the rice. The pad Thai was good. Solid. Dependable. Not the kind that makes you dramatically pause mid-bite and rethink your life choices, but definitely tasty. Now the spicy catfish is what I personally come here for. It's fried just right -- not overly breaded, still flaky and tender inside. The sauce is always on point and full of flavor. This dish alone keeps me coming back. The pla pad phed (trout) unfortunately didn't land the same way. Because it's served filleted, it's easy to overcook, and sadly this one was. The sauce itself was great, but the fish was a bit too done. Overall, this place has been a favorite of mine for a while, and it survived the ultimate test: my parents enjoyed it too. I'll definitely keep coming back for the spicy catfish, basil beef, and their reliable pad Thai. And the service? Always friendly and attentive -- which honestly makes the experience even better.
