Stopped by Frymazing for lunch (Friday)for the first time and really enjoyed it! The place is clean, and the ambiance has a cool, modern vibe, hip and welcoming. The woman who took our order was super pleasant, and we never felt rushed while deciding what to get, which I always appreciate. I went with the combo and was happy with everything. The soy garlic chicken had great flavor--I'd probably ask for extra sauce next time because it was that good. The potstickers were nice and crispy with a really satisfying crunch, and full of flavor. I've been to Frymazing a few times now. I wanted to wait on giving my review after sampling it a few times. Overall, I like this place a lot. You can taste the quality of the chicken. My favorite chicken flavor was the Yang Yum. Nice mix of sweet and spicy. If you are a bulgogi fan, then the bulgogi fries are a must. Also every time I go I have to have their house made lemonade. Just delish! I will say too many sweet items gets a little rich. I try to balance the sweetness with a savory item. I will definitely want to try the Jalapeno sauce wings next time. The seating area is pretty basic. The areas are very clean and well cared for. Ordering can be done by kiosk or at the register. The menus are all on monitors so things are easy to decipher. Hubby and I usually share the Bibimbap OR the Bulgogi Rice Bowl with an order of Boneless Chicken. We've tried three flavors - Soy Garlic, Honey Butter, and Yangnyum. We love them all, but our favorite is the Boneless Yangnyum Chicken. I'm super frugal so I will add extra rice and a fried egg to our food, and it will feed my husband and I twice. This place is consistently good and one of our favorite local spots for korean fried chicken! I also appreciate how even though there's a kiosk for orders, the staff is more than willing to take your order at the register. They're also super friendly and attentive, checking in to see if you have questions or how everything tastes. Our go-tos are the chee-Z fried chicken wings and bibimbap. We've tried the double crunch wings but it's the chee-Z for us. Side of rice with the wings is a must! Bibimbap is also solid. I love most of the veggies that it comes with; just not a fan of bean sprouts but you can easily customize your order. Their beef bulgogi is so flavorful and pairs so well with the kimchi. Honey Butter and Soy Garlic, plus a side of rice and a cool blue (cotton candy) lemonade. When I placed the order it told me it would be ready in 16 minutes. It was actually ready earlier than this! Love it! I walked in only to find one couple eating inside. They were not busy around 3:30pm (lucky me!) The owner is so friendly and nice. I had a 13 minute drive home. Food was hot when i picked it up and was still warm when i got home. I was excited to eat. The chicken was moist, warm, crunchy, sweet, savory and the perfect bite. I love their kfc, and it pairs nicely with a little bit of plain rice. The lemonade was tasty. It was not too sweet and not too tart, would definitely get again. My mouth was on fire luckily had had some water in standby last and certainly least the chee-z fries...they fell short. The first time it was actually pretty spicy and so delicious. I enjoyed it so much. However, the second time i ordered, it wasn't as spicy which was a bit disappointing. But the flavor was still very good. Their meat to rice portion is pretty balanced. I also tried their wings (YangYum and ChillinChilli). Both of these were good. Very crunchy and super flavorful. Frymazing certainly lives up to its namesake! Though we didn't dine in and had takeout instead, the 2 or so minutes I was inside were very nice. The whole ambiance of the dining room is warm, homey, and cozy, with a lot of thoughtfully placed decor and deeply colored wood. I can't wait to try dining in the next time I'm able to. Service during the pickup (placed online prior) was awesome - there was no wait, and I was attended to immediately, without the need for prompting someone. The staff were immensely courteous and respectful! As for the two lunch specials we picked up, they proved to be quite a nice surprise. My girlfriend and I haven't really had korean chicken before, but the sheer taste and sauciness of their yangnyum wings makes us eager to try more! The honey butter that we chose on the second meal was also delicious, and had a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors, which is certainly a feat - I feel that it's very easy to overdo honey. All of the other components on the plate - the bulgogi rice, fried gyoza, and delicious pickled radish, were executed perfectly. I found myself feeling full halfway through, but ended up finishing it because it was so satisfying to eat! We also gave their Cool Blue craft-brewed lemonade a shot. I'll preface this with the fact that I typically can't handle most lemonades, as they're too acidic and tend to make my stomach hurt, or are just unenjoyable for me to drink. Both were very tasty with the right amount of spiciness, and the chicken was crispy and did not become soggy with the yangnyum sauce. The buldak fries also came topped with chicken, cheese, buldak sauce and green onions. The chicken meat was juicy and tender.
