I went to get a haircut for the new job and it was cold and I really wanted to give this spot a try. The spring rolls were bland and tasted heavy of lettuce which was off putting The broth of the pho was lacking.. I wanted more of a beef flavor and more depth. The bone marrow addition was good but not at the same time. There is 100% a process to get rid of the bone shavings but I found quite a few. I will give them another try but I was not impressed with their offerings.
We were shopping at Seafood City and decided to stop by this unassuming pho restaurant...such a great decision! Maybe it was the foggy weather outside, but inside it was cozy and relaxing. The restaurant was clean, well-decorated, and the servers were very nice. Totally felt like I was sitting down with my family for a home-cooked meal. We got the fresh spring rolls as an appetizer, and I ordered the P5 large Pho Dac Biet. The broth had a deep, beef flavor which was excellent. The meats looked good, fatty, and tender. Portion size was way better than competitor down the road...100% will be back!
Came here with my sister and my dad because we haven't had Vietnamese food in a while so here we are. We ordered the Vietnamese style chicken wings to start, my dad ordered the bone marrow pho, my sister got the P8 (Eye round steaks and tendons), I got the P5 Combo pho (eye round steak, tendons, tripes, brisket, and meatball). I also got a Vietnamese coffee. Everything tasted good. But the main highlights for me was the vietnamese coffee and the bone barrow pho. The coffee was rich and had bold flavor. In terms of the food, I was really impressed with the portion sizes. I got to try the bone marrow pho and there's soo much creaminess to it. The service here was really good. The food came out fast and the staff also checked in with us frequently. This restaurant also has a lot of available seating and parking is never an issue in this area. This is hands down my favorite pho spot in the V. Definitely recommend checking this spot out if you haven't already. Try it out if you like. :)
Atmosphere (lighting, decor, setup/vibe) overall modern. Staff was friendly and food was really flavorful. Will definitely be back for the banh mi. Papaya salad is a must order along with the fresh spring rolls. All the pho broth has flavor. Meat was delicious too.
This is a hidden gem! Great food, great prices, great portions and great customer service. The fresh shrimp rolls are a great starter. Perfect light appetizer augmented w/ a delicious peanut sauce. Since we're on a roll, would also recommend the fried crispy rolls. The perfect blend of stuffed pork and vegetables in a crispy rolls w/ the traditional Nuoc Cham dipping sauce. You can't go wrong w/ any choice of the vermicelli bun. It's always great portions w/ noodles a delicious blend of carrots, lettuce and bean sprouts w/ the options of grilled pork/chicken/beef/shrimp. You can even pick two if you'd like and add a crispy roll:)
Came here to eat after doing some shopping. We were immediately seated and greeted. The restaurant is spacious and has plenty of seating. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was amazing and definitely satisfied our pallets. Would return again whenever in the area.
One of our "go to" pho. Service and food is always great. Owner is very nice and accommodating. Plus they don't use star anise in their bbq. I'm not a fan of that ingredient. And their spring rolls are not fishy like others we've tasted.
Hands down the worst Vietnamese restaurant out of the 50+ I've ever been to. The spring rolls are not fresh. They taste stale, chewy and like old shrimp. You can see how yellow the lettuce is in my photo. The combo pho came with exactly one piece of tripe, 2 slices of steak and 2 meatballs. The noodles are way overcooked. Absolutely pathetic. I asked for a side of sliced onions and they may have served it whole because I've never seen onions sliced this thick in my life. Terrible place for pho.
Pho Hoang was a bit hard to find at first. Based on Google maps we actually went to the wrong one with similar name and street. Luckily that one was closed for the day and we found the correct one. Pho Hoang is pretty new but has the best pho we've found in Vallejo. The beef broth is savory, rich and flavorful. What stood out were the star offerings of oxtail pho (my favorite type) and a bone marrow pho which I never had before. Boy, the bone was huge and definitely worth trying! It comes with a long spoon to scoop out the marrow. More marrow than any bone I've eaten. Yummy! The second time we came with more family Pho Hoang didn't have the bone marrow pho I had raved about. We will call to confirm the next time we go. However, their oxtail pho was excellent too. They had both the third time we went. Delicious! We watched them set up a seafood hotpot for about 12 people. It looked good too. Maybe next time. Pho Hoang is a casual, family-owned place and the servers were helpful and friendly. The owner checked with us on our visits. We will be back again, especially since my 93-year old dad gives the pho 2 thumbs up, along with my five stars.

Went to this place for the first time, a hole in the wall in Vallejo and absolutely loved it. Small family owned spot and really gave out authentic Vietnamese food. The drinks were refreshing and all the food came out super quick. I loved the spring rolls, it came with the normal peanut sauce but I'm allergic so I paired it with fish sauce. The banh xeo was crispy and most places I've tried, it is usually soggy so I give it a 10/10. Fresh ingredients. I loved the garlic noodles and shrimp. The shrimp was packed with garlic and super juicy. They def do not skimp on their portions. I suggest ordering a few dishes and sharing! I'd love to go back and try their pho, the bone marrow broth looks so yummy. The seats were spacious and comfy. Ton of booths. All the workers constantly checked in on us and asked if we needed any more sauces and filled our waters throughout our meal. Come support!!!

This Pho place in Solano County is one of the cleaner ones I've been to. The decor is great, and there's plenty of indoor space. I had the lemon grass chicken banh mi, which comes with pate (liver spread). I could skip the pate next time. Compared to other pho places, the meat was a bit underwhelming. Some places pack the meat more generously. I also tried the 7. Lemongrass chicken over rice. It came with an egg, a couple of shrimp, a side of salad, and a small broth. It was not bad at all. The presentation was nice, and the flavors were tasty. The service was a bit slow. The lady who took our order took a while to get back to us, but she checked on us several times. Overall, I'd return to try the rest of the menu and their pho next time. read more
Tried Pho Hoang for the first time because of the good ratings, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. To start, I ordered the fried chicken wings, and to my surprise, they weren't even hot when served. The texture of the meat inside also made them seem old or not freshly made, which was not a great first impression. For the main meal, I had the BBQ beef plate with egg, spring roll, and shrimp. The biggest issue for me was the rice -- it was unexpectedly hard, and the entire plate arrived cold. I honestly couldn't believe it because who wants cold food, especially for the first meal of the day? The shrimp was also extremely salty for my taste, to the point that I only managed to eat one piece and left the other two untouched. The beef and egg were okay, but it was hard to fully enjoy them because the food overall lacked freshness and warmth. I really wanted to like this place given its ratings, but sadly this first visit left me disappointed. read more

Awesome Raw steak Pho & Spring rolls! Excellent fast service. Family ambiance. Not loud. I'm most impressed with getting my Vietnamese coffee on slow drip tin can over a cup with a cup of ice and condensed milk. Only the best way to drink iced Vietnamese coffee! This is the third time my friends and I have visited and it's always good! Waiters are attentive and always keep your waters filled. Interiors clean, comfortable, and all but welcoming. My favorite here is the S8. Stir Fried Udon noodles, it's so good and my go to is the avocado boba smoothie. read more

The Grilled Pork Bahn Mi is amazingly delicious. The French bread that they use is so fresh and arrives warm. Also much bigger Bahn Mi compared to other restaurants. Their Ube Latte is delicious and not too sweet. (Via DoorDash) read more
Wasn't this location another Vietnamese Pho restaurant? I got tired of eating at Red Ribbon, Chow King, and Jollibee and I thought I would give Pho Hoang a try. Boy! I was not disappointed. Right away when I sat down I already knew what I wanted to eat. I order the Shrimp Spring Rolls and when I went to the restroom to wash my hands my order was already done. Talk about fast service. The Spring Rolls were fantastic. The peanut sauce was fantastic. Plenty of tables to be seated. I love how the inside of the restaurant looks. I will definitely dine at Pho Hoang again when I am shopping at Seafood City read more
A vendor brought me here for lunch and said this was his favorite spot in this part of the bay. He ordered the bone marrow Pho but they were out, apparently this dish is the star of the house, I overheard several other people in table next to us trying to order that also. Instead he had the Oxtail Pho soup and when it was brought to the table only a few minutes later, I regretted not getting it...Wow that looked amazing!!! I will definitely have that next time I come here. My won ton noodle soup which I ordered with a chicken broth base seemed very boring and tame by this point. But no, that was a great choice, by far the best and most delicious chicken broth I have ever had. Crisp, clean, not to chickeny but well seasoned and full of depth. The Wontons and noodles were excellent and I truly enjoyed this huge bowl of yummy soup. I tried to finish it but it was just too much. Great service, beautifully decorated and very clean spot. The Bobba bar was also very busy and the restaurant quickly got full during the lunch rush. read more

We ordered the bone marrow pho which is around $20. We got the large size good for two people. If you have a big appetite, this serving is good for one person. Our bone marrow was cooked good. The broth was very delicious and didn't lack depth. All the flavors were perfect. Everything was easy to cut and eat. The service was quick and easy. The lady was very friendly when she took our order. The restaurant had nice music so the ambiance was good. It was not that noisy. It was comfortable for us to enjoy our lunch. Overall, this was a very good experience since it was our first time to enjoy bone marrow pho. read more

This is me and my husband's favorite Pho restaurant! I must admit, the service and food is 10 times better than Pho Lee Ho Phat which was there before Pho Hoang. We love coming here because it tells the story of Vietnamese food and history. The ambience is inviting, and The owner recognizes us each time we come in. And greets us warmly. The soft music in the background highlights the atmosphere. We try something new every time because the menu has so many items to try! Our new favorite is the Vietnamese crepe with shrimp and chicken...try it!!! The other new favorite is the beef spring rolls!! Of course their Chicken Pho is AMAZING, I try the seafood Pho as well... Also, delicious. Also, try the fried chicken wings with the delicious glaze sauce!! Additional dishes to try that will not disappoint is the pineapple fried rice, and the garlic noodles with shrimp...OUR FAVORITE !!! The prices are reasonable for the amount of food that you get and everything that we have tried is worth it!! read more

I was feeling a bit under the weather so we went to get pho from Pho Hoang. The restaurant is pretty big and spacious. I ordered the P10 which had steak and brisket in it. The pho was delicious and really hit the spot especially since I wasn't feeling well. The meat was tender and easy to eat and the noodles were cooked nicely in a soothing broth. Overall, it was great but also it was like your standard pho from any other well known pho spot! If you're craving a good bowl of pho and you're in the area, check this place out! It didn't disappoint and the service was fast and efficient. The other dishes on the menu looked tasty too! read more

This is the BEST place for Vietnamese food in Vallejo. CM7 rice plate had grilled chicken that was delicious. The egg roll was fried perfectly for a nice crunch. The shrimp was very nice. The crispy egg and salad add additional flavors. The side of pho was exceptional. CM9 rice plate had a pork on the thinner side, but packed a flavorful char from the grill. The fish cake paired well with salad, egg roll, fried egg, and rice. Service was attentive and the all the food arrived appropriately in 15 minutes. Ambiance is casual, so dress down in comfortable clothes to enjoy excellent food. read more
This became my favorite Pho in Vallejo, followed by the Pho by Buds Burgers. Their menu is similar but they also have different items such as the Stir fried Udon and Bone marrow soup (delicious). The drinks section also had more options and their Thai tea is pretty good. I only gave this place 4 stars (food wise 5) because the flies were constantly around us and our food. The doors are open sometimes so I understand. Otherwise, the food is great and service was good as well. read more
Service was amazing & staff were very sweet. The ambience of this restaurant pretty. The meat was tender & delicious.The bread absorbed all the gravy in the plate & it tastes so divine. The one thing that was a bit sad was that in the menu the photo shows 2 eggs but in my meal it only had one egg. Other than that my meal was delicious. read more

4/7/24 We read some good reviews and wife and I decided to drive some miles and pay to cross the Zampa bridge for Pho. As we got close to the location we became apprehensive. YEP. Some years ago we stopped going to Pho Lee Hoa Phat ll at this same location when we saw one of there employees digging for gold in his nose. We marched full speed ahead. Let's try this out. I hope they are clean. I've added some photos of our experience. PHOTO #... 1. There is easy parking at this end of the shopping complex. The Grand Entrance. Looks clean and chearfull on the outside. 2. We are greeted, handed menus, told water is on the way and invited to choose a table. The place looks clean and cheerful. An employee is cleaning window sills. A good sign 3. The place looks clean and organized. Pleasant mood music plays softly. 4. I notice a rag falls off a cleaning cart. I hope that rag is not used on tables. I hope not. I want to like this place. 5. Arrrg. The cleaner picks up the rag and puts it back on the cart. Please oh please don't reuse that rag! 6. Food arrives. Bone marrow Pho in one bowl and a ginormous bone with lots of meat and cartilage left to cut off, and our egg rolls. Everything is very tasty. Very tasty- though I would have preferred the Pho broth to be hotter. 7, 8, 9. Getting everything edible of the bone and shaking it down for the remaining marrow. Come out of there marrow! 10. Yes! The cleaning lady began to clean again and she is using a fresh rag. The dining area is clean, the service is quick and comes with a smile. 11. Lunch came out to $37 and it filled up both of us. read more

I am looking at this restaurant and I've looked at two different versions of their menu and I have not seen where they have the sandwiches? By the looks of this map it looks like this is over by seafood city?
Yes it is over by Seafood City a couple down from Jollibee. They do have Banh Mo sandwiches. I actually uploaded a Pic of that menu back in April
