Love to see a new kbbq spot in this area! Walked in on a Sunday afternoon and didn't have to wait, which was surprising. Super nice interior and large group friendly. At a first glance of the menu, it seems pretty standard to most kbbq places. I didn't really see Wagyu or noticeably special meat options even on the premium menu, so I'd recommend getting the base menu. Definitely on the pricier side at $36.99 from Friday to Sunday for what you get. You do have an option to upgrade for more seafood and sushi / nigiri options! There were lots of appetizers to choose from, but we got the lemon pepper wings which were a hittt. Crunchy and juicy! They had banchan available like your kimchi, cucumber kimchi, Mac salad, sprouts, broccoli, and potato. I'm a huge fan of the potato side, so I was glad that our waiter let us refill specific sides that we wanted haha. Other than that, pretty decent selection. Rice was on the drier side. Loved ordering their beef belly, beef brisket, and garlic thin sliced pork belly. Their house sauce was also fire. One thing to note though was that our grill did always get quite smoky at a faster rate than usual, so we had to get a grill change quite often. There's also not much vent support despite the high ceilings. Solid experience, but at the price I don't think I'd go back / as often. Glad I got to try though!

OK, so I'm from the Bay Area and I've eaten had some wonderful and delicious Korean barbecue places. This place is reasonably priced. I do have to say so that's OK. I believe it was about $33 or $35 or something around there for the regular menu. I put ourselves on the waitlist for Friday night, but you definitely did not need a reservation or if we put on a waitlist. We walked right in and it was just a couple minutes and we were set at our table. I am used to sitting down and instantly having all these different sides, presented to us. This place is definitely a little bit different. You have to order a certain way, which kind of threw me off. But it definitely helps with the waste of food. I do have to say the ambience is pretty cool. It reminds me of Gen Z, which is in Concord. Like it was a cool chill modern restaurant. The sides that we ordered definitely were interesting, they were not the usual sides that we would order at other Korean barbecue places. Their potato thing is incredibly nasty so do not order that. Their chicken wings were actually pretty good a little bit on the crunchy side. We ordered the Bulgogi spicy, we ordered the different types of bacon, we had the salad, which was pretty good, we ordered the Soju with a couple of beers, which were good. The server was fast, the food came out fast, the drinks were a little late, but that's OK. But I like is that our server came by and made sure that we did not want to order anything else or if we did, he was really nice really knowledgeable and really great at changing our grill as well. Will I come back to this place? Probably not. I'll probably go somewhere where the food is a little bit more authentic and the marinades are better off.

BEST pork belly in the bay! Everything is delicious. Came all the way from San Francisco because my cousin recommended it. Thank you to our amazing waitress Charmane for her service.

Been wanting to visit here for a while, got to walk in and got placed on a wait list for our party of nine. Plenty of room and tables to go around. Food was good, just had to remind our waiter a few times on some items that haven't been delivered. But overall, the food was good. One thing I wish is that they had a tablet or app where we can just desirably put in our next order. I also noticed at this location I had to ask for them to change our grille a few times more than I'm use to at KBBQ spots. Also, if it's your birthday, ask them to spin the wheel. My friend told them it was my birthday so I got to spin the wheel and had a pleasant surprise!

Food is great but whoever b running the kitchen needs help or something because this the 3rd time this happened to me. I order ramen the first round. I ask about it about 3-5 times in between orders and every single person tells me it's coming. I see about 5 people around me get their ramen. I ask about mine around 9:30 and get told "kitchen is closed sorry" with no emotion in their tone. This time it was because somebody got my non spicy ramen and when they finally gave me mine it was wrong nd spicy. The other lady at the table said yal gave me hers and now yal tryna give her mine do yal got it out for me or sum? Yal don't want me to get my ramen or wht???? Is it beef??? Wtf goin on

Okay, I love this place! We got reservations vis Yelp on our way to the restaurant. Parking was ample, especially on this rainy day. 4 for AYCE Kbbq (and my sis' bday). We ate a lot! The rice, meats and apps were delish Service outstanding. Ambiance was cool too. My sis had an alcoholic drink that was pretty...til she mixed it. Can't wait to go back, I throughly enjoyed it.

I've tried many Korean BBQ places around, but this one is still my number one! The meats are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. They also have sushi on the menu -- and it's just as delicious! You I've tried many Korean BBQ places around, but this one is still my number one! The meats are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. They also have sushi on the menu -- and it's just as delicious! You really can't beat the quality and variety for the price. The ambience is great -- clean, lively, and welcoming. It does get busy sometimes, but that just shows how much people love coming here! The staff are friendly and attentive. Our food came out quickly and in generous portions, and our server checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, an amazing experience -- I'll definitely keep coming back and recommending this place to everyone!

I had a great experience here. I came on a Friday afternoon with 5 friends and it wasn't too busy. The entrance is super inviting and when you see the grills and seating area, you know you're going to have a good time with your group. The staff was friendly and engaging with us. Offered to let us spin the prize wheel so we could get extra items during our experience. The wait time was nonexistent, and they were able to bring everything we ordered out so quickly. They have a vast selection of items to choose from (sushi, noodles, appetizers, different meat cuts). I do think the quality of kbbq meats could be better, they didn't taste fresh and still had the frozen aspect and taste to them. Not much of a marinade or seasoning at all. Overall, I had a great experience, and I would come again if I were in the area!

Daikon Korean BBQ is such a great find! The flavors were spot on, and everything we tried was delicious. The staff was super friendly and quick, which made the whole experience even better. The brisket was my favorite but honestly, everything we grilled was packed with flavor. I didn't expect to find such a solid Korean BBQ spot in this area, but I'm so glad I did. Totally worth the 20-minute drive. I love how they serve Altamont Beer Works Mac Dre inspired beer.

Good food, but ok service. Nice looking restaurant with lots of big booths to sit at for kbbq. Floors were kind of sticky though. As a group of 4, we were only allowed to order 4 meats and two sides per round. This was less than other places and the amount of meat they brought out per order was different each time despite re-ordering the same items. Staff was great with changing the grill but not with ordering more meats and sides. Waiter did not check on us and was hard to get a hold of. Waiter was nice but we ran out of water and weren't able to reorder for a while. We had to ask another waiter to order. Meat quality was good and the sesame balls were great. The sesame balls were made to order and arrived HOT. It's always fun cooking the meat. I was glad we were able to cook our meat to our satisfaction - crispy edges. 3 Stars !

Consistently my #1 favorite KBBQ spot in the area! Regardless of when I go - weekday lunch (where's it's cheaper Mon-Thurs) or on a weekend dinner, service is consistent, fast, and attentive. I've had parties here with groups of more than 6 regularly. There's plenty of options, and I go for the cheaper options and it's still worth it. There's also a sushi menu. Highly recommend the corn cheese, lemon pepper wings, sesame balls, and pork jowl. They regularly ask if you want grill changes, refill drinks, and are quick to help. It can get a big busy, but food comes out quick. Highly recommend, and wish they had a reward system because I'm here all the time!

WARNING, pay attention to your receipt before adding tip as they already pre tip and we didn't even have 6 people and not notified prior!
    Kristina L.

WARNING: check your receipt before you add any tip! They already added tip prior though we only had 2 adults, but they charged an automatic tip! I would have never noticed until my friend said something! I was looking at the tip options from the screen on their payment system and I was so confused as to you why there were only options for "1, 2, 3%" for example. In my head I'm like is is missing a zero after these single numbers? Then my friend looked at the printed receipt they left on the table and it was already pre tipped! We were not even notified nor did our server even say anything until my friend ended up bring it up and our server then says "oh they may have added tip." So my friend confronted the manager (our who ever was in charge that day) and she didn't give a good reason as to why we were pre tipped when it clearly says for a party of 6 on the receipt, which we were not! We were told that the tip does get split amongst the the staff. Would have gave them higher stars if they didn't already pre tip our table since the KBBQ was better than other AYCE spots in NorCal. Tip culture is too crazy nowadays. I'm usually a high tipper to support servers getting what they deserve as it's known they may not always get fair wages, but on my terms and not a made up reason and tricking us to tip more! Since our server was decent at serving us (though she didn't tell us we were pre tipped), we did end up giving extra in cash so that extra tip it doesn't get split, but still upsetting that this happened without warning. What is also upsetting is I assume this spot is the same owner as the one in Sac (Natomas), Minnie, and I have followed her journey and supported every restaurant she's ever owned since her beginnings. If she does own this location, staff needs to be retrained and things should have been explained in the beginning or correct the fact that we were only 2 adults and being charged automatic gratuity is crazy when it clearly says for party of 6 on their menu and receipt. Besides this tip fiasco, the food was actually pretty good, tasty and meat was good quality. Side dishes were very flavorful and they also have sushi as well, which we didn't get. Price as fair for the quality that you get and worth it despite the tip issue. As for the service, though it was very busy night, we didn't wait too long to get our food each time we put an order and our server was attentive (thus why we gave extra cash on the side). Overall: would recommend the food, but again look at your receipt before paying.

Is it common knowledge to Vallejo residents that Daikon Korean BBQ Vallejo doesn't serve party of 1 on the weekends? As a repeat customer, I learned the hard way today, 2/13/2026 at 11:32 am after they opened at 11:30 am. I arrived 30 minutes early (1st car in thr parking lot and) and stood at the door at door 5-minutes early to be the first one served. I was starving and craving for Daikon KBBQ. Put my name on the waitlist because they weren't quite ready. Went to the restroom to wash my hands. I was approached by an employee telling me they have a policy that they don't serve party of one during the weekend because of the volume of busyness on the weekend. Told him I didn't see it was a policy on their website. I walked out starving, embarrassed that my business was rejected, confused by the outrageous policy, and disappointed because I was really looking forward to a nice solo lunch/treat after a long week of work.

Are pets allowed if leashed or do you have outdoor seating for pet owners?

    No. No outdoor seating.

    Can you dine solo?

Yeah, you can dine solo if you want to spoil yourself. I'm pretty sure the servers will give you the amount of ingredients that are in your party. So if you're solo, then they will give you the amount of food that would fill you up.

    Open on xmas for dinner?

Christmas is a holiday, and I don't think any restaurant/store will be open on Christmas since the employees have families as well as we all do. But they could be open on Easter though, I'm not sure but it could be.

Can you order for a take out here and pick it up please?

Since it is AYCE, no. Hopefully it is an option soon.

The space is really spacious with that clean, industrial feel, and it's incredibly comfortable to hang out in. Getting to see the distilling process up close added a whole new layer to the experience and made everything you taste feel more intentional. The whiskey selection is seriously impressive. I went with a tasting flight, which was a great way to explore their lineup--from smooth, approachable pours to more complex, higher-proof options. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the whiskey and how it's presented. The cocktails were also a highlight. Super well-balanced and not overdone. The Old Fashioned-style drink I had was spot on--clean, strong, and exactly what you want at a whiskey bar. Food-wise, everything hit. The oysters were fresh and paired perfectly with the drinks, and the hot dog + tots combo was simple but done really well--definitely exceeded expectations. Overall, this is one of those places that works for any kind of visit--whether you're diving into a full tasting or just stopping in for a drink. Great space, great whiskey, and an experience I'd absolutely come back for.

Let's start with the salsa. I don't know what they put in their salsa. I know the main ingredients of salsa, but their salsa? Oh my gosh. It is delicious. It's my favorite salsa. I'm sitting here stuffed from dinner, and I still want some right now. My husband loves the chorizo burrito. He's ordered it both times we've visited. It's this big, gigantic burrito that looks impossible to eat, but somehow he manages. On our most recent visit, we ordered the chicken flautas as an appetizer. First of all, the flautas themselves were delicious. The seasoning on the chicken had flavors that felt familiar, but with a twist of something I've never had before. And the smokiness of the sauce on the flautas? Delicious. Just absolutely delicious. I also ordered the salmon, which was perfectly seasoned. I believe it normally comes with vegetables, but mine came with a salad instead. Whatever the reason, that salad was outstanding. It was so fresh and flavorful. There may have been apple, pear, or jicama in it... I honestly couldn't tell... but every bite was delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic, too. Elena took care of us on both visits. She makes it feel like you're visiting somebody's home. She is absolutely warm and hilarious at the same time. What really surprised me was that she remembered the beverage my husband ordered on our previous visit. I was like, "How long ago was that? Three months ago?" Another young lady came around and asked how we were doing as well. Very hospitable. Again, I really can't believe there weren't lines out the door. I mean, it's a cool crowd, don't get me wrong.
