I went to get a haircut for the new job and it was cold and I really wanted to give this spot a try. The spring rolls were bland and tasted heavy of lettuce which was off putting The broth of the pho was lacking.. I wanted more of a beef flavor and more depth. The bone marrow addition was good but not at the same time. There is 100% a process to get rid of the bone shavings but I found quite a few. I will give them another try but I was not impressed with their offerings.
We were shopping at Seafood City and decided to stop by this unassuming pho restaurant...such a great decision! Maybe it was the foggy weather outside, but inside it was cozy and relaxing. The restaurant was clean, well-decorated, and the servers were very nice. Totally felt like I was sitting down with my family for a home-cooked meal. We got the fresh spring rolls as an appetizer, and I ordered the P5 large Pho Dac Biet. The broth had a deep, beef flavor which was excellent. The meats looked good, fatty, and tender. Portion size was way better than competitor down the road...100% will be back!
Came here with my sister and my dad because we haven't had Vietnamese food in a while so here we are. We ordered the Vietnamese style chicken wings to start, my dad ordered the bone marrow pho, my sister got the P8 (Eye round steaks and tendons), I got the P5 Combo pho (eye round steak, tendons, tripes, brisket, and meatball). I also got a Vietnamese coffee. Everything tasted good. But the main highlights for me was the vietnamese coffee and the bone barrow pho. The coffee was rich and had bold flavor. In terms of the food, I was really impressed with the portion sizes. I got to try the bone marrow pho and there's soo much creaminess to it. The service here was really good. The food came out fast and the staff also checked in with us frequently. This restaurant also has a lot of available seating and parking is never an issue in this area. This is hands down my favorite pho spot in the V. Definitely recommend checking this spot out if you haven't already. Try it out if you like. :)
Atmosphere (lighting, decor, setup/vibe) overall modern. Staff was friendly and food was really flavorful. Will definitely be back for the banh mi. Papaya salad is a must order along with the fresh spring rolls. All the pho broth has flavor. Meat was delicious too.
This is a hidden gem! Great food, great prices, great portions and great customer service. The fresh shrimp rolls are a great starter. Perfect light appetizer augmented w/ a delicious peanut sauce. Since we're on a roll, would also recommend the fried crispy rolls. The perfect blend of stuffed pork and vegetables in a crispy rolls w/ the traditional Nuoc Cham dipping sauce. You can't go wrong w/ any choice of the vermicelli bun. It's always great portions w/ noodles a delicious blend of carrots, lettuce and bean sprouts w/ the options of grilled pork/chicken/beef/shrimp. You can even pick two if you'd like and add a crispy roll:)
Came here to eat after doing some shopping. We were immediately seated and greeted. The restaurant is spacious and has plenty of seating. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was amazing and definitely satisfied our pallets. Would return again whenever in the area.
One of our "go to" pho. Service and food is always great. Owner is very nice and accommodating. Plus they don't use star anise in their bbq. I'm not a fan of that ingredient. And their spring rolls are not fishy like others we've tasted.
Pho Hoang was a bit hard to find at first. Based on Google maps we actually went to the wrong one with similar name and street. Luckily that one was closed for the day and we found the correct one. Pho Hoang is pretty new but has the best pho we've found in Vallejo. The beef broth is savory, rich and flavorful. What stood out were the star offerings of oxtail pho (my favorite type) and a bone marrow pho which I never had before. Boy, the bone was huge and definitely worth trying! It comes with a long spoon to scoop out the marrow. More marrow than any bone I've eaten. Yummy! The second time we came with more family Pho Hoang didn't have the bone marrow pho I had raved about. We will call to confirm the next time we go. However, their oxtail pho was excellent too. They had both the third time we went. Delicious! We watched them set up a seafood hotpot for about 12 people. It looked good too. Maybe next time. Pho Hoang is a casual, family-owned place and the servers were helpful and friendly. The owner checked with us on our visits. We will be back again, especially since my 93-year old dad gives the pho 2 thumbs up, along with my five stars.

Hands down the worst Vietnamese restaurant out of the 50+ I've ever been to. The spring rolls are not fresh. They taste stale, chewy and like old shrimp. You can see how yellow the lettuce is in my photo. The combo pho came with exactly one piece of tripe, 2 slices of steak and 2 meatballs. The noodles are way overcooked. Absolutely pathetic. I asked for a side of sliced onions and they may have served it whole because I've never seen onions sliced this thick in my life. Terrible place for pho.
Went to this place for the first time, a hole in the wall in Vallejo and absolutely loved it. Small family owned spot and really gave out authentic Vietnamese food. The drinks were refreshing and all the food came out super quick. I loved the spring rolls, it came with the normal peanut sauce but I'm allergic so I paired it with fish sauce. The banh xeo was crispy and most places I've tried, it is usually soggy so I give it a 10/10. Fresh ingredients. I loved the garlic noodles and shrimp. The shrimp was packed with garlic and super juicy. They def do not skimp on their portions. I suggest ordering a few dishes and sharing! I'd love to go back and try their pho, the bone marrow broth looks so yummy. The seats were spacious and comfy. Ton of booths. All the workers constantly checked in on us and asked if we needed any more sauces and filled our waters throughout our meal. Come support!!!
The Grilled Pork Bahn Mi is amazingly delicious. The French bread that they use is so fresh and arrives warm. Also much bigger Bahn Mi compared to other restaurants. Their Ube Latte is delicious and not too sweet. (Via DoorDash)
Great new pho spot in Vallejo near seafood city! Glad it isn't the same menu as the other pho spots in Vallejo. Portions are huge and good for the price point. The wagyu meat was my favorite for sure. Wasn't too big a fan of the spring rolls though. Definitely plan to come back again! Staff is super friendly and attentive and the interior has been updated. read more
Neat find right next to Seafood City, super well kept and plenty of seating inside. I thought the inside was well decorated too, nice for some casual dining or even for small occasions. Waiters were pretty nice and food came out relatively fast (10-15 minutes). While the food was good, the portions felt a little small. Otherwise, pretty pleasant experience and would likely come here again! read more

I'm so glad we found this place, especially since they serve Banh Xeo! My partner and I often crave it but haven't had a good spot nearby. When we discovered it on their menu, we tried it immediately and were not disappointed! We also enjoy the pho, with the bone marrow and American wagyu being our go-to choices. We've tried their spring rolls, chicken wings, and garlic noodles as well. Out of the three, the chicken wings are my favorite, but everything was well-prepared. On top of the great food, the hospitality is outstanding. The owner is super sweet, and we love chatting with her during every visit or pick-up order. read more
Came back here to try the banh xeo! Highly recommend this item. The banh xeo is huge and packed with flavor. A lot of places forget to season the protein before making it, however here are Pho Hoang, they have the recipe perfect. This is a must try the next time you visit!! read more

went here because I wanted to try the bone marrow with pho. It was so humongous that I felt full just staring at it. the bone had so much creamy goodness inside. The outside was meaty and had collagen hanging off. I had to take the bone home to finish everything. I also ordered the honeydew smoothie without boba which hit the spot. I only gave 4 stars because there was difficulty communicating with the server due to language barrier, but other than that, this place is good. read more
The food here is good, doesnt compare to SJ, but definitely good. If you're looking for local pho and don't want to drive too far, definitely stop by here! The portions are good, soup is tasty, and the pork spring roll sauce is fire! read more

First time trying this place. We ordered to-go from their website. Service/online ordering - 2/5 Placed our order just after they opened at 11am. We ordered 2 drinks and 2 soups. Text message came in saying food would take 20-40min, and that we'd get a text when the order was ready for pickup. My partner went inside to pickup our order 30min after we had placed it online and they were just about to start bagging up our order. They asked several times if the order was for "Skipli" which was confusing since all he knew is that I ordered from their website (which apparently uses Skipli). Would have been less confusing if the staff understood that Skipli was their website's ordering platform. He asked to make sure our modifications were noted (asked for egg noodles instead of rice noodles for both soups). The staff said they had to remake it since they both had rice noodles (the mods were printed on the receipt so not sure how that was missed). Waited another 15min. Staff tried to give him the remade order but it was still missing our drinks so waited for those. Ended up leaving with the order at 11:50am. As we were leaving the parking lot we got a text from Skipli saying our order was almost ready. If you order for pickup I wouldn't recommend ordering online (and double check your order is correct!). Packaging - 5/5 Everything was packed neatly and separated nicely. Food - 3.5/5 We ordered the spare ribs soup (p2) and the bun bo hue (k4) both size large. The spare ribs soup came with a very flavorful beef broth, sliced meats and meatballs. Unfortunately the egg noodles were soft/mushy and not very appetizing. We would have left this off the review since this was part of a modification however we saw other soups with egg noodles listed so this is likely how it would've been if we ordered a soup that was supposed to have it. This soup is a solid 4/5 if left unmodified. The spicy lemongrass beef soup/bun bo hue had a very similar broth with the addition of lemongrass and chili oil. It was good however I was expecting it to be thicker/more unctuous, it was also pretty mild. It came with a couple slices of cooked beef, some half-moon slices of meatball and a fair amount of cartilage. The egg noodles were mushy. I ended up mostly drinking the broth and eating the few pieces of sliced meat/meatball. Rating this one 2.5/5 if ordered as is. Not enough meat to be satisfying. Drinks - 4.5/5 I ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee and he ordered the Secret Garden (fruit tea with mango/strawberry bits). The coffee was light and refreshing, definitely the lightest tasting Vietnamese coffee I've ever tried. It was pretty small (looked like 12oz?) and filled completely with ice so I finished it in a few sips. I'd say it's not really worth the price to order again. The fruit tea was so good! Only lightly sweet, definitely more tart. I would definitely order this again. It was supposed to be 24oz though and the cup only holds 20oz if totally full (this was a larger cup than the coffee). Value - 3/5 We felt the spare ribs soup coming with 2 ribs was a fairly good value. It probably would have been a larger portion of soup if we had dined in instead of ordering Togo (came out to about $18 for a large). Spicy lemongrass beef soup was about $15 but did not come with much meat. Coffee and fruit tea were both about $6.50. Our order total was ~$53 including a $5 tip. It felt pricey for what we got. Overall - 3/5 This place looks to be family run and they are doing a decent job. If we had dined in we likely would've had a better experience. Maybe some of their other menu items are better than some of the things we picked out. Overall we probably wouldn't be going out of our way to come back again. read more
We were near Vallejo during lunch so we decided to stop here. Our second time eating here. It's off to the side of a strip mall and a little difficult to find but, what a pleasant surprise. The restaurant looks newly renovated and still has the grand opening sign out front. We ordered the bone marrow pho, banh xeo, and mango salad. The pho was outstanding with great depth of flavor without being overly salty. The bone with marrow was huge with bits of meat and tendon. And plenty of marrow that was just amazing. The banh xeo was different than what we are used to but, large with plenty of vegetables and pork/shrimp. The dipping sauce seemed slightly salty and was delicious used sparingly. I'm guessing the mango salad was their take on Thai papaya salad. Again, very tasty and not spicy at all. This was way too much food for my wife and I. We managed to finish most of it. I destroyed the banh xeo. My wife went to town on the marrow. All things considered, an excellent Vietnamese experience. We will definitely be back again...soon! read more
I think i found my favorite Vietnamese restaurant now. This previously used to be another Vietnamese restaurant, which thankfully Pho Hoang has taken over. The restaurant is renovated and well decorated modernly. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We ordered a few dishes just to share and they were all delicious! We ordered: Bone Marrow pho, Wagyu Pho, BBQ beef plate with shrimp cake, BBQ chicken with shrimp cake plate, Garlic noodles with cajun shrimp, mango salad and banh xeo. We had a feast and still had a lot of food to bring home. Definitely recommend coming by and try their food! read more

This pho establishment gave me mixed feelings, I am so happy I finally got to try it after about 2 years of being open. First off I'd like to start with location, a lot of parking, but terrible location because I was held at gunpoint the first time I came here to try the place back in 2023. A little over a year later, I finally got to try it and I got to say I was not disappointed. Just a heads up to the owners my review is my own opinion and I say it in the possible hopes that things may change for the better. First off the ambiance here is really nice and clean, and I love the staff, maybe a family establishment? Everyone was very nice and accommodating; I hope y'all don't change as the years go by. On to the main event, and that is my food review. So the pho itself was not the worst, the meat was so rich and high quality, you can just tell. However the broth was salty and flavorless to me. I prefer pho #1, Stockpot, and the pho near American canyon over this place no matter how high quality the meat is. The grilled pork spring roll was fine, but the wrapper was slightly dry. I was also slightly upset that the soup came before the appetizers.. the broth was not savory or authentic like other pho spots around vallejo, and honestly I wouldn't come here for it. Now for my main event of this place, the appetizer chicken wings! When I tell you all, the chicken wings were so good, they are better than 3 star chicken wings, all you locals know what I'm talking about! Maybe that's just me, but it was so good I had to get more! I even complimented the server to let them know how much I enjoyed it, and I do not do that often. It is so good that even if I wasn't into what I usually order at a pho establishment, I would come back for this chicken. It is garlicky and sweet tasting, and I will definitely be back, and I'm glad the workers here are nice because I will sit down and try other foods on the menu and most definitely get the chicken again!! read more

The food taste great, but portions are a little smaller. The prices are okay. Service is fast, actually it was better tonight than the first time we went there (they were literally watching us eat and it didn't feel comfy). Now, they have boba drinks, which is a plus. read more
On cold chilly days I crave the comfort of Pho and this place stands out because they carry two of my favorite bowls of goodness: Bone Marrow and Oxtail.. on my first visit they were out of marrow so I ordered the oxtail. There were at least 3 good pieces if oxtail but also included sliced beef and meatballs as well.. the broth very flavorful. Serving was huge and I brought half of it home to enjoy the next day. Bánh xèo is difficult to find so I ordered this right away for an appetizer.. this was lacy with a crackly crisp and filled with juicy pork, shrimp and bean sprouts. read more
Newest pho spot in Vallejo, that took over the old pho at Seafood city. They've rebranded, renovated, and upgraded! So when they opened the place has been packed on Sundays after church, just like how the old pho here was back in the day. They have more than your regular pho place, they have spare rib pho, bone marrow pho, different plates, a sizzling Banh mi dish, and others. I went with my parents and we started off with the mango salad which my dad devoured, the Vietnamese style-chicken wings- huge wings that are crunchy, Cajun shrimps with garlic noodles, and the bone marrow pho which is huge! The bone marrow portion is in a separate bowl and they give you scissors to go in on it. The broth was good, little more pricey than your basic pho spots. I ordered take out for the spare rib pho and seafood pho for my brother and sister in law and they weren't as impressed. I think the new spot definitely is an experience and a nice place to treat yourself or if you want to try a different option of pho. Be careful when you park here, overall it hasn't been as safe for the elderly. Can't wait to try their brisket and meatballs the next time to compare to what I usually get at pho! Since I went there when they were newer, they apologized for the busy service but I think now it shouldn't be too busy. read more

Ordered a boba and grilled pork spring rolls. My son had the drink so I cannot rate it. However, the grilled pork spring rolls were very delicious. The employees are also very kind and welcoming. 6 pieces of rolls (3 large cut in half) Pork is tender and delicious and has a hint of lemongrass I was so hungry that I ate one and dipped it into the peanut sauce. (Not pictured). The rolls are sauce are very fresh and still warm. I will definitely return again. read more

Something new. Love their broth, you can really taste the freshness and different level of flavors. We ordered the wagyu which I don't find as premium beef. I did not enjoy the grilled beef but hubby loved his grilled porkchops. Service is qucik & nothing much changed from the previous set up. read more

If you love Pho this place has very yummy Pho. My family went to enjoy pho. We enjoyed the bone marrow pho!!! So yummy!! Huge bone n very tender meat attached to the bones. The bone marrow was just perfectly cooked. A must visit if you want to enjoy pho n there other dishes. read more

First time here, WOW! Definitely, the new best pho place in Vallejo and surrounding areas. I got the bone narrow pho, which was a giant bone in one bowl and pho with brisket and meatballs in another. Scoop out the marrow and carve or chew off the chewy bits on the outside of the bone. So tasty. Broth reminded me of Pho Ao Sen. Something you don't want to skip is the Bahn Xeo. It is a delicious, crispy crepe filled with shrimp and veggies. You cut off a piece and wrap it in a lettuce leaf with cilantro and shiso leaves. You don't see this dish at many Vietnamese places, so I always try it when on the menu. This is a great version. Service is friendly, and the inside is more stylish than most pho places. Great addition to Vallejo. read more

I have not been in this restaurant since the remodel. All I can say is I've been missing out. I would definitely order the Cajun shrimp and garlic noodles again. Noodles were some of the best that I have had. I love that the salad is a spring mix with ranch as sometimes the salad at Pho restaurants gets wasted. My husband got a rice plate which was great as well, but he liked mine so much , it's what really stuck out in our mind. The staff were friendly and courteous. The young gentleman at the front was amazing! He held great conversation and is one of the reasons we will be back. All in all it was a great experience and the next time we are craving pho, we will "pho" sure think of this cutely decorated, delicious vibey restaurant. read more

Had an amazing meal with my dad yesterday! He ordered the porkchop combination rice plate. The porkchop was tender, not overly sweet the way some pho restaurants are, and you can taste the char grill! The shrimp cake was extra crispy, one of the best in Vallejo tbh (no bias). & loved that it had a small side salad which is pretty unique. My wagyu pho was also really good. The broth was rich and light the way I like it. The wagyu comes on the side along with a heated broth on the side which you use to cook the meat. This helps from not over cooking your meat or ruining the natural taste of your broth in your pho bowl. Love the concept! We also had the peach mojitos which is our family's favorite. We had to get some to go for our cousins. Will be trying the banh mi chao next and the Vietnamese yellow curry! read more
Always nice to see a new restaurant in Vallejo. Pho Hoang just opened in the beginning of October. It's next to Sea Food City My thoughts are: Very friendly staff Very clean Pho that's spot on A few dishes that are unique and that other Vietnamese restaurants in the Vallejo area don't offer I had the Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup) Great flavor Perfect amount of heat (spice) A little lacking with the beef and pork but the sausage was really good. Overall the Pho was an 8, borderline 9 The restaurant also an 8, borderline 9 with room for improvement as they smooth things out. Highly recommend read more
Decided to check out this spot because of new ownership and boy was I pleasantly surprised. First, the ambiance is nice and very clean inside, cute astetics. However, the food was the show stopper. Everything I ordered had soo much flavor. The menu was vast , so definitely can't wait to try some new dishes. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They checked on the different guest frequently even after serving the orders, which is not common for most vietnamese restaurants. I'm already to visit with friends at the end of the week. We were on our way to the bay area and stumbled across this place. This place is new and very clean. Very cute interior, service was quick. The owner is super nice, she came and talked to us. We ordered garlic noodles and ox tail pho, nice and big portion . The food was delicious. The owner said they don't use MSG in their food. Everything was perfect, the beef was tender and the garlic shrimp was cooked perfect, great flavors! Would come back here again. read more

Delicious! Decided to randomly try this place bc of good reviews & so happy we did. The restaurant is very clean & organized & the staff is very hospitable. I ordered the grilled beef combo with shrimp & an egg roll. My partner ordered the brisket & meat ball pho. I also ordered an avocado boba. At first they brought me the wrong order & when I told the lady I wasn't sure what her reaction was going to be but she quickly told the staff then they brought me the right plate. The grilled beef was soooo good! The marinade was perfect & I love that they serve with a crispy egg. I also really liked the egg roll. I tried the pho & the broth was perfect imo. It didn't even need any condiments. Maybe the only thing that could've been different was the brisket could've been a bit more tender. But that being said it was delicious! Even my toddler enjoyed the food she kept going back for more. I love how clean it is here & how everything on the table had its place. Would recommend if you're in the area. It's right next to seafood city & jollibee. read more

Yes it is over by Seafood City a couple down from Jollibee. They do have Banh Mo sandwiches. I actually uploaded a Pic of that menu back in April
