First time trying this place. We ordered to-go from their website. Service/online ordering - 2/5 Placed our order just after they opened at 11am. We ordered 2 drinks and 2 soups. Text message came in saying food would take 20-40min, and that we'd get a text when the order was ready for pickup. My partner went inside to pickup our order 30min after we had placed it online and they were just about to start bagging up our order. They asked several times if the order was for "Skipli" which was confusing since all he knew is that I ordered from their website (which apparently uses Skipli). Would have been less confusing if the staff understood that Skipli was their website's ordering platform. He asked to make sure our modifications were noted (asked for egg noodles instead of rice noodles for both soups). The staff said they had to remake it since they both had rice noodles (the mods were printed on the receipt so not sure how that was missed). Waited another 15min. Staff tried to give him the remade order but it was still missing our drinks so waited for those. Ended up leaving with the order at 11:50am. As we were leaving the parking lot we got a text from Skipli saying our order was almost ready. If you order for pickup I wouldn't recommend ordering online (and double check your order is correct!). Packaging - 5/5 Everything was packed neatly and separated nicely. Food - 3.5/5 We ordered the spare ribs soup (p2) and the bun bo hue (k4) both size large. The spare ribs soup came with a very flavorful beef broth, sliced meats and meatballs. Unfortunately the egg noodles were soft/mushy and not very appetizing. We would have left this off the review since this was part of a modification however we saw other soups with egg noodles listed so this is likely how it would've been if we ordered a soup that was supposed to have it. This soup is a solid 4/5 if left unmodified. The spicy lemongrass beef soup/bun bo hue had a very similar broth with the addition of lemongrass and chili oil. It was good however I was expecting it to be thicker/more unctuous, it was also pretty mild. It came with a couple slices of cooked beef, some half-moon slices of meatball and a fair amount of cartilage. The egg noodles were mushy. I ended up mostly drinking the broth and eating the few pieces of sliced meat/meatball. Rating this one 2.5/5 if ordered as is. Not enough meat to be satisfying. Drinks - 4.5/5 I ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee and he ordered the Secret Garden (fruit tea with mango/strawberry bits). The coffee was light and refreshing, definitely the lightest tasting Vietnamese coffee I've ever tried. It was pretty small (looked like 12oz?) and filled completely with ice so I finished it in a few sips. I'd say it's not really worth the price to order again. The fruit tea was so good! Only lightly sweet, definitely more tart. I would definitely order this again. It was supposed to be 24oz though and the cup only holds 20oz if totally full (this was a larger cup than the coffee). Value - 3/5 We felt the spare ribs soup coming with 2 ribs was a fairly good value. It probably would have been a larger portion of soup if we had dined in instead of ordering Togo (came out to about $18 for a large). Spicy lemongrass beef soup was about $15 but did not come with much meat. Coffee and fruit tea were both about $6.50. Our order total was ~$53 including a $5 tip. It felt pricey for what we got. Overall - 3/5 This place looks to be family run and they are doing a decent job. If we had dined in we likely would've had a better experience. Maybe some of their other menu items are better than some of the things we picked out. Overall we probably wouldn't be going out of our way to come back again. read more

This pho establishment gave me mixed feelings, I am so happy I finally got to try it after about 2 years of being open. First off I'd like to start with location, a lot of parking, but terrible location because I was held at gunpoint the first time I came here to try the place back in 2023. On to the main event, and that is my food review. So the pho itself was not the worst, the meat was so rich and high quality, you can just tell. However the broth was salty and flavorless to me. I prefer pho #1, Stockpot, and the pho near American canyon over this place no matter how high quality the meat is. The grilled pork spring roll was fine, but the wrapper was slightly dry. I was also slightly upset that the soup came before the appetizers.. the broth was not savory or authentic like other pho spots around vallejo, and honestly I wouldn't come here for it. Now for my main event of this place, the appetizer chicken wings! When I tell you all, the chicken wings were so good, they are better than 3 star chicken wings, all you locals know what I'm talking about! Maybe that's just me, but it was so good I had to get more! I even complimented the server to let them know how much I enjoyed it, and I do not do that often. It is so good that even if I wasn't into what I usually order at a pho establishment, I would come back for this chicken. We were near Vallejo during lunch so we decided to stop here. Our second time eating here. It's off to the side of a strip mall and a little difficult to find but, what a pleasant surprise. The restaurant looks newly renovated and still has the grand opening sign out front. We ordered the bone marrow pho, banh xeo, and mango salad. The pho was outstanding with great depth of flavor without being overly salty. The bone with marrow was huge with bits of meat and tendon. And plenty of marrow that was just amazing. The banh xeo was different than what we are used to but, large with plenty of vegetables and pork/shrimp. The dipping sauce seemed slightly salty and was delicious used sparingly. I'm guessing the mango salad was their take on Thai papaya salad. Again, very tasty and not spicy at all. This was way too much food for my wife and I. We managed to finish most of it. I destroyed the banh xeo. My wife went to town on the marrow. All things considered, an excellent Vietnamese experience. We will definitely be back again...soon! read more

I think i found my favorite Vietnamese restaurant now. This previously used to be another Vietnamese restaurant, which thankfully Pho Hoang has taken over. The restaurant is renovated and well decorated modernly. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We ordered a few dishes just to share and they were all delicious! We ordered: Bone Marrow pho, Wagyu Pho, BBQ beef plate with shrimp cake, BBQ chicken with shrimp cake plate, Garlic noodles with cajun shrimp, mango salad and banh xeo. I have not been in this restaurant since the remodel. All I can say is I've been missing out. I would definitely order the Cajun shrimp and garlic noodles again. Noodles were some of the best that I have had. I love that the salad is a spring mix with ranch as sometimes the salad at Pho restaurants gets wasted. My husband got a rice plate which was great as well, but he liked mine so much , it's what really stuck out in our mind. The staff were friendly and courteous. The young gentleman at the front was amazing! He held great conversation and is one of the reasons we will be back. On cold chilly days I crave the comfort of Pho and this place stands out because they carry two of my favorite bowls of goodness: Bone Marrow and Oxtail.. on my first visit they were out of marrow so I ordered the oxtail. Newest pho spot in Vallejo, that took over the old pho at Seafood city. They've rebranded, renovated, and upgraded! So when they opened the place has been packed on Sundays after church, just like how the old pho here was back in the day. They have more than your regular pho place, they have spare rib pho, bone marrow pho, different plates, a sizzling Banh mi dish, and others. I went with my parents and we started off with the mango salad which my dad devoured, the Vietnamese style-chicken wings- huge wings that are crunchy, Cajun shrimps with garlic noodles, and the bone marrow pho which is huge! The bone marrow portion is in a separate bowl and they give you scissors to go in on it. The broth was good, little more pricey than your basic pho spots. I ordered take out for the spare rib pho and seafood pho for my brother and sister in law and they weren't as impressed. I think the new spot definitely is an experience and a nice place to treat yourself or if you want to try a different option of pho. Be careful when you park here, overall it hasn't been as safe for the elderly. Can't wait to try their brisket and meatballs the next time to compare to what I usually get at pho! First time here, WOW! Definitely, the new best pho place in Vallejo and surrounding areas. I got the bone narrow pho, which was a giant bone in one bowl and pho with brisket and meatballs in another. Scoop out the marrow and carve or chew off the chewy bits on the outside of the bone. So tasty. Broth reminded me of Pho Ao Sen. Something you don't want to skip is the Bahn Xeo. It is a delicious, crispy crepe filled with shrimp and veggies. You cut off a piece and wrap it in a lettuce leaf with cilantro and shiso leaves. You don't see this dish at many Vietnamese places, so I always try it when on the menu. This is a great version. Service is friendly, and the inside is more stylish than most pho places. Placed an order via take out. I placed my order over the phone. The person I talked to was very nice and very accommodating. My husband wanted to try their popular Bone Marrow Soup. Pho Xuong Tuy. She informed me that since the bone is very huge that they don't have a container big enough to fit in it so it'll have to be placed in a plastic bag which is fine by us. They don't normally recommend ordering this soup via take out but she allowed to order this one time. I ordered other dishes as well and all were delicious. When I arrived to pick up my order it was all ready and they were welcoming and very nice enough to help me with my order to take to my car as I placed a large order and there were lots of containers to carry. They ended placing it Into 2 large boxes and as I was about to drive away one of the very sweet ladies came out and I was given a free milk tea with boba for free. It's sad to see the old Vietnamese restaurant that was here ( they have another location still open in springs rd.) and this new Vietnamese restaurant is a great replacement for sure. Had an amazing meal with my dad yesterday! He ordered the porkchop combination rice plate. The porkchop was tender, not overly sweet the way some pho restaurants are, and you can taste the char grill! The shrimp cake was extra crispy, one of the best in Vallejo tbh (no bias). & loved that it had a small side salad which is pretty unique. My wagyu pho was also really good. The broth was rich and light the way I like it. The wagyu comes on the side along with a heated broth on the side which you use to cook the meat. This helps from not over cooking your meat or ruining the natural taste of your broth in your pho bowl. Love the concept! We also had the peach mojitos which is our family's favorite.
