Smaller version of a Ranch 99 in Vallejo. Came here for some Eden or Edenlicious cheese or something similar but they had nothing. Seems like they don't have much selection or variety. I was better off going to Island Pacific for my filipino food needs.

I don't know why it's taken me such a long time to check out 168 which is one of the newest Asian markets in Vallejo. They have all of your hot pot and kbbq needs. Located at the old Gold's Gym and there is plenty of parking, located at the same plaza as the neighborhood Wal mart. My family likes to come here to get combo meals because they are huge portions! From chow fun noodles, fried rice, chicken, eggplant, vegetables, dim sum to go, and sesame balls! All of our favorites, service is quick and all of the workers are nice and friendly!

Huge serving of some good greesy food!! Feed 2 with leftovers

*******Hot food review***** This review is for the hot food items. Prices are very responsible for the amount of food. But way too much oil for me. Dim Sum was also very oily. I had to use four napkins to soak it all up. Sorry, I can't recommend this place, nor will I be eating their hot food items. Grabbed food on Sunday around 2pm

To get a better idea of what 168 Market has, consider thinking of Ranch 99 but a smaller version. Their produce area is smaller, they have a large (and clean) selection of seafood and meats, and they have all the traditional canned and consumable items that any Asian market would have. I really enjoyed their limited bakery items (similar items that Sheng Ki has) and their cakes. Considering that it's only week one of them being open, a lot of their items were flying off the shelves and you can visibly see the stress on the bakers faces while trying to restock everything. I didn't get to try any of the hot food items but I did grab a large selection of veggies. The service needs a little help, especially with the cashiers. The cashier that was ringing me up didn't seem interested in bagging any of the items and when the they realized that I wasn't going to bag my stuff due to dealing with a rambunctious toddler, she just shoved everything in a bag causing the crackers to break and the veggies to bruise.

Watch out Seafood city...former Shape up gym turns into a huge Asian based market in Vallejo. Went venturing out on a Sunday to see all the hype for the new store opening... and I was plesantly surprised at the variety of products available. Supposedly it's comparable to a Ranch 99 market, I' ve never been but im glad it in vallejo now. I will be back when all the asian persuasion in town is not in the store. Ciao for now!!!

Taro bun from the bakery section - great in the toaster oven

Heard about this place from social media so I decided to stop by. It is a large Asian market in Vallejo that's not more specific to Filipinos like others in town. They have dim sum, yummy baked good, roast duck, and more. They also have all the hot pot fixing you can think of. Service was good. The cashiers were Filipino looking out and making sure I knew eggs were on special for one dollar! The store is clean and didn't smell too bad. Hehe! I recommend this market for anyone looking for good Asian ingredients.

good place to get Asian food supplies. Didn't feel overwhelmed by the items on the shelf like sometimes when I go to 99 Ranch.

I thought it's be more similar to H-Mart but it's more like a ranch99 which is still really good!

I got 1 pound of catfish and 2 pounds of shrimp (fried for me) for the price of $41. A seafood plate with 4 measles shrimp is easily $20. The service is quick and brings you through line with ease. There was a misunderstanding and they spent a lot of time helping the customer even though she was verbally combative to them. In the end, their service was great and they were very professional with the incident. The staff are people too, so please be respectful

Deli Only Review:…read more Finally got around to trying the deli for a sandwich after all these years and hearing all the good things about them. Previous attempts were met with 30-45min. wait times that a quick lunch break would never allow. This time, I got lucky with a quick in & out visit on a Friday during lunchtime. The store's an almost comical-surreal throwback to the old food co-op's from the 1970's (for all us grown folks that were part of that era). Like stepping back into a time machine. But, the wonderful smells from the deli hit me when I walked in, which was great and got the appetite juices flowing big time. A two meat cold cut sandwich w/ cheese will set you back $17, tax included. Which is about the ceiling of what I'm willing to pay currently for a similar take-out sandwich anyplace else. Adding that 2nd meat is what kicks the price up a few more bucks. A heated sandwich request adds .50c and extra meat is another $2 on top. Truth be told, most other deli's and sandwich shops have an equivalent option for slightly less $ it seems. Would be gravy if they threw in a can of generic soda pop (Shasta, Cragmont or the like) and maybe a mini bag of chips for this pricepoint, but whatever. Not a deal breaker. Sandwich was very good and they advertise using Boarhead brand meats. It's a winner, if not an everyday lunch option based on price. Check it.

On 4/14/26 at 6:45pm I placed an order with this establishment. After receiving my food, I encountered an issue with my order. I called the restaurant to address the problem and seek a resolution. When my call was answered, the employee did not initially identify herself. I had to ask for her name, at which point she stated her name was Jasmine. I found it unprofessional that she did not provide a basic introduction when answering the phone. I then requested to speak with a manager regarding my complaint. Jasmine refused to provide the manager's name when I asked, which immediately raised concerns about transparency and accountability. After insisting, I was eventually transferred to the manager. Once the Manager came to the phone his introduction was bag o crab, I asked for his name. The manager refused to provide his name when asked. For appropriate customer service and documentation purposes I needed to know who I was speaking with but he continued to refuse. Shortly after I requested his name again, the manager rudely refused and hung up on me.This behavior was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. At no point was I provided with assistance, or any effort to resolve the issue with my order. This experience demonstrated a complete lack of customer service, accountability, and professionalism. Refusing to identify oneself as a manager and hanging up on a customer attempting to resolve an issue is unacceptable. My order was horrific. My experience was horrific and I wasted my money.
