Came here cause my son likes palabok and decided to come to this location to see if it's just as good as the Suisun city location. The place is much smaller. So not as many grocery items. The veggies looked fresh. The line for food isn't too long of a wait. I watched as they packed the food to see if they pack as much as the other location. The lady who assisted me packed generously to the people she helped ahead of me. So of course I'm here thinking they do pack as much as the other location. But when it came to me, it wasn't even close. The palabok was packed where the container actually closed with ease. Same with the Kare Kare and Laing. The bihon pancit barely overflowing. If you check out the other photos of other reviewers, you'll know what I mean. And that's how the people ahead of me had their orders packed. I guess that server just picks and chooses who she wants to overpack for. I find that unfair. She looked the youngest out of the four ladies working. I spent practically $60 for what I got. Guess I'm better off going to Suisun city since I've never had been shaded on. The only good customer service I experienced was the sweet lady at the register who rung me up. She was pleasant and convinced to grab dessert. She's pretty much the reason I'm giving at least three stars for this review. The food was good, but probably would taste better if my experience was more positive. Only thing was the noodles in the palabok was a little overcooked. Good thing I got dessert cause the maja was exactly what I was expecting and enjoyed every bite. Other than that, I don't think I'll be wasting my time heading out to this location anytime soon. Took almost an hour to get here to begin with and had that experience as a first impression. I'd rather drive another ten miles to Suisun city. read more

Ordered a large tray of Pancit Bihon for a family party. It was hot, fresh and ready to be picked up at agreed time. Great price for the amount of noodles they give you. I remember coming here as a little girl when it was in the same shopping center but different location. It's a small "sari sari" store with just a few grocery items but they have a really good selection of fresh, ready made Filipino food to go. I like that they serve adobong pusit (not included in the combo) and beef adobo which is something you can't always find. They pack a ton of food and the price isn't bad, I can usually get 2 meals from one 2 item combo. Definitely a good place to go when you are craving Filipino food or fried fish! read more

A small, Filipino market that I've been to since I was little. They moved into a different space, and it's right next to the dollar store. There is still plenty of parking. They have freezers with frozen items. They have pantry staples such as ramen packets, chips and cookies, fresh vegetables a meat section and of course a hot food section which is quite nice. When I arrived, the food had already been consolidated and packed so it doesn't sit out too long. This was just before closing. It's nice to know they've prepared for to go options. What a great grab n go in this area! Filipino food take out that warms the tummy and heart! The star of the show for me was this noodle dish with seafood! Oooooh weeee! I've never had this anywhere else! If you see that it's available, GET IT! The taste is perfectly balanced with that right hint of citrus/ lemon and just enough sauce that it's not to dry or to saucy! I don't know the name of it but it reminds me of pancit palabok but elevated palabok! (Refer to my pic). Another savory dish that I enjoyed was the dinuguan! A hit because when I arrived it was almost gone! I know why now hahahaha For something sweet, order a LARGE ginataang bilo bilo! I always order the lumpia and always wowed whenever they pour generous amount on the container. They also offer pickup orders for certain dates or ocassions. I ordered 300 Shanghai lumpias as it was a hit last year when I ordered 200. Luckily I had a picture of last years 200 count lumpia in my IG. When I got home I opened up the foil thinking it was a ton more, it looked the same as the 200 count from last year. I hand counted it and it was only 180 pieces. Not even 200. I paid for 300 lumpias and these fuckers got over on me. When ordering lumpias these con artists, ask them to place each 100 in separate foil trays. read more

I went last week and received a certain level of service, I went back today and was charged two dollars more than last week and given a reason that I ordered beef. Well I ordered beef last week as well. She gave me a heaping amount of rice and a half scoop of the beef dish that I was charged extra for. This place is great! The staff are super friendly and their portions are generous! They also do party trays of food which is great for someone like me who doesn't like to cook and just wants to order and pick up for parties. The place is somewhat liked by many. One thing I notice that every time I go there, the place is always dirty. The food is really greasy and sad to see that the vegetables are also greasy. They are making money as well selling the plastic bags, 20 Cents each in which they could give it for free and write it off for business expense. read more

3j's Filipino Market is located in a small pretty busy plaza, there's also an LBC located inside. They are still adhering to social distancing guidelines and I came on a Saturday around lunch time and there was a line out the door. Everyone was confused once they get inside for the line for food and checking out, turns out it's the same line. You can find anything you need for your Filipino or Asian needs in this small store with many workers, I felt like I was back in the Philippines. From fresh produce, meats, unfeathered dead chickens chillin in the back, to freshly made meals ready to buy. They sell the food for such a good price and they are very generous for the amount that they give you! I saw generous even for the small items! I did have to wait in line for a while but it was definitely worth it, my parents like to come here if they haven't cooked and want to get something easy. They have workers constantly cooking and chopping in the back. As for the food, we always get their pancit, there are 3 types, canton (thicker egg noodle) or bihon/sotanghon(smaller thin rice noodle or glass noodle) or combo (both noodles combined). We get a small and they give us so much. They usually have like 2 vegetable options, tons of meat dishes, fried fish, and a lot of people like to order lumpia from them too, so best to order in advance or else you'll get stuck in line. 3 j's has been here forever and I'm glad this store is still thriving and brings a little piece of culture and home for Filipinos. read more

Recently discovered this small family owned Asian Market in the neighborhood. I love the fact that it has a small grocery section for some of your favorite Asian staples. Also a nice plus that it has home cooked Filipino dishes for take out. The prices are very reasonable on their hot cooked food and they give ample serving per order. The flavor of each dishes are delicious and you can tell someone took pride in cooking them. I personally have tried the beef caldereta, sotanghon (pictured) chop suey (pictured) and fried fish tilapia. Give this local family owned business a visit. There's also a parking lot. They are also on social media (IG) how I discovered them as they followed me. The place is small but for me it's perfect compared to the huge Asian Markets that you can easily get lost in between aisles. Plus I love supporting small local businesses like this one. read more

My parents really like this turo-turo place and thought I'd give them a try while I'm in town. This review is based on multiple visits all of which I was looking to buy the combo special pansit. Every time, naubusan ako, every time. Translation: I never get to buy it because they always run out and it takes 40 minutes to cook. They say 30 minutes, but really it's 40 because the ladies at the front are too busy serving the long line to remind the kitchen to cook some more. Suggestion: tell the kitchen when you are half way through the heating tray, then maybe I and other customers are more willing to stick around for 10-15 minutes. Thank you, and I politely decline the sotanghon when I am there for the combination pansit. Also, the Manang with the mole sans glasses...please be kinder to your customers. Someone was already helping me, and you purposefully told them to do something else...to help me with your condescending attitude? I don't need to be helped by someone who has power issues when I jokingly say I keep missing out on the pansit. I don't need your annoyed facial expressions when I ask you to repeat what you're saying because everyone is loud. The food: as with most Filipino food, the dishes are flavored with MSG. The ulam always makes me sleepy and depending on how much I eat the umami flavor, I need a siesta break. I finally looked around the grocery section, and I must say I am impressed with the freshness and quality. I should go here more often than the other larger chain pinoy groceries in the area. Overall: 3.5 stars thanks to the fresh produce and the lack of fish smell. I really do wish they would time the cooking much better because sometimes I don't want to be forced to buy random food just because I'm hungry. read more

If I could give this 3js a 0 I would. This 3js is unorganized. Their new POS system does not work and charged me twice because their POS system went down and I had to pay with two different cards and got charged for both. This is not the first time I've had issues with this 3js because I've also had food here that had maggots in it when they were in the other location. Them moving didn't do anything and they should have access to their POS system accounts to see the double charge on the person's card. Of course I didn't get a receipt for the one charge that they said didn't go through because conveniently their system ran out of paper. Then the next charge they gave me a receipt but never got to show the first charge because they changed POS systems. This place is whack will never shop here again. Which sucks for them because I want to support small businesses but this place needs to get it together or learn how to make it right for customers when their shit is wrong. read more

This is an oriental market, but my family and I like coming here for the food. They make and sell pancit here, and it's incredibly delicious. Although homemade will always be better, their pancit is so good and they give really big portions. And when I mean big portions, it's overflowing in the containers but they use Saran Wrap to keep it in place so the pancit does not fall out. It's that good. Biggest tip - if you need it for a party - call them in advance or go really early because the food can run out quickly. Another Filipino dish we like getting here is the DINAGUAN aka Choclate Meat. I'm really picky when it comes to Filipino because home cooked is always best but their dinaguan is so comparable to how my mama cooks it. I am giving their customer service below grade. They encourage you to place orders over the phone but they never pick up or answer their phone. I wanted place orders for next week. Instead I drove to the store and the line is so long that you have to line up to place orders or again they encourage you to call it in. I verified the number and it is the same number as in yelp, takeout menu and yellow pages but why don't they answer the phone! I called Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday...5x each day mind you, still no one answers the phone! You comply you get shit. If you cheat and cut in front of someone they give you evil look or you can pretend you were already in line, these tactics seems to work. Damn if you do, and Damn if you don't. read more
