Sometimes big box grocery stores can be overwhelming, especially when you're shopping for in a specific cuisine so these small mom and pop stores are the best to find what you need. My mother and I like this specific market because on the weekends they sell their pandan dessert rice cakes and other freshly made items. We've never had any issues with any of the fresh items that can be found near the register and often buy their fresh produce on the days that they have them delivered. They have all the condiments you'd need for any Thai meal that you're interested in making and they also have a few Korean items as well (frozen Korean hotdogs, ramyun, sauces, and snacks). It's a small market so all their meats and select seafoods are all in their freezers but when I say select, I really mean processed meats and seafoods like fish balls and sausages so fair warning that they may not have the meat or seafood that you'd need. Because the market is so small and the close proximity of the high school, they do limit how many students are in the market at a time during the after school rush. Also, you have the choice to wear a face mast or not when visiting the market (notice on the door). The owners are very nice and extremely helpful when looking for anything. Whenever my mom wants me to pick up something, they know exactly what I'm looking for.

Never been to a Thai market/grocery store before, so when I saw one in Fairfield, I was excited to visit and check it out. I was there around 3 pm so unfortunately they didn't have anymore fresh food items such as papaya salad, sticky rice, etc. But the store still had a lot of Thai products that I never saw before so I was super happy to explore the store. I ended up buying ingredients for homemade pad thai and some snacks. The store owner was quite nice and friendly, he helped me after I was struggling with the proper noodles type to buy for pad thai. I wish to visit this store again in the future and hopefully I can find some fresh food items on the "fresh food" racks.

The owner was pleasant, her assistant was helpful in recommending brands of items for which I was shopping. They gave me pointers on how to use ingredients I didn't know about. Can't wait to purchase the fresh noodles available Thursdays.

First time here. It's a sweet little store filled with Thai items and a few other Asian stuff. You can find a small selection of fresh vegetables, frozen seafood, coffee cans, Asian canned drinks, asian sauces/spices and utensils. The Asian cashier lady was very friendly. And the stocker was polite too. The store shelves are really neat. They do sell the x2 Korean Spicy noodles here that has been trending as a challenge on YouTube. $1.75 for one or $6.99 for a pack of 5. (They do have a bunch of other instant noodles here, too) When I came here around 4, they only had a few fresh items left. I picked up the papaya salad and sliced mangoes with the dip. The dip is sweet and pretty dang spicy; it made my eyes water and nose run. The papaya salad had a kick to it too. If you get the papaya salad, squeezing the lime is a MUST. It gives it a fresh twist. Bags are 15 cents here.

Ambiance: there is a lot of cultural food to choose from and there is usually no music playing. Shoutout(s): to the selection. You can buy basic bubblegum to frozen tamales, even pita. Location review: it's small, but nice. It's near a goodwill and comic shop so it's in a fun location. Service: the service is ok. Employees aren't the most extraverted. They help answer your questions with a lot of effort. I asked about a particular product and they help point me to the right direction with specifics. Expectations: none really. I guess I expect to see strange new food. I've been to this place a number of times and it's always a trip. I love broadening my food options and this place help's introduce me to new bites! Improvements: some music, and more outgoing staff would be nice. Last words: if you're looking for groceries come here. If you're looking for cool new groceries to explore come here. If you're looking for a random snack try this place.
