I have stopped here a few times to eat at their taqueria and the food is great. Service is quick considering they get pretty busy towards lunch time. Great prices and good portions. The market seems lively and people seem to enjoy shopping here. Come in and try them out. Burritos are great btw.

It's great to have a store like this with the selection of all products as they have, but you need to be careful on the prepackaged baked goods, checked the package date and the expiration date and look over the product all the way around even upside down cause I've got a poundcake that I bought and it was spoiled and when I flipped it over to see the mold, so I took it back

    Always clean here.

I really love this supermarket! So clean, staff friendly and great meats to choose from in their butcher department.

The tamales were literally RAW. This is the second time. Another time, a Torta was made wrong. They remade it, and it was mistakenly cold. Do better and train your staff.

Great supermarket. Incredibly clean. Good selection. Poultry and meat section is amazing. Love supporting this store. My only complaint is their tamales up front - when they first opened the tamales were amazing. However recently the ratio of protein to masa has been lacking and it's mostly masa and lack of protein and flavor.

First time coming in this store. Was pretty packed on a Saturday afternoon. I love how everything was neat and nicely stocked. There is a meat market in the back of the store. Also an area where you can order tacos etc. another area where you can order fresh salsa and cheese. Was a nice experience I'll be back. The chips and salsa are my favorite here

I always go to this market, if I'm in the neighborhood. They have the freshest looking Fruits and Vegetables, as well as the Bakery and Meat areas are always stock and looking good. I went in to try out the Burrito Area . I got a Super Asada and Carnitas with everything, plus Avocado .. It was sooooooo DELICIOUS . I liked both the Red and Green Salsas, they both had a little kick on the heat to them. I will DEFINITELY be coming back again. Also, the store is always organized and clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.

This is the spot We love buying the marinated meat for tacos - carne asada, al pastor, pollo. Grab their pico de gallo and salsa roja, some tortillas, cilantro and a red onion and you have it made. Haven't gone out for Mexican food since! It's too easy on our flat top grill, and too delicious. The prices are right, too. And we eat the leftovers for the next few days. Staff are super helpful and attentive. I've never had to wait to get service at any of their counters. Store is clean and organized. ¡Lo mejor!

    Some of the taqueria selections

This is a general review of the supermarket but mostly for the taqueria inside. The supermarket itself is very clean and well organized. The shelves are well stocked and MOST of the items are labeled. Some are not. The staff working in the aisles are friendly and helpful and it's generally easy to find someone to help you if you have questions about anything. The taqueria was really excellent. The tacos are between $2.50-$3 each and range from your standard chicken/pastor to beef tongue and tripe. I tried an assortment of all their tacos and the lengua was tender and cooked to perfection. Definitely my favorite of the three I ordered (chicken and pastor). Let's talk about the fish though. Wow... did it exceed expectations! It's not listed on the digital menu but I spotted them on the hot plate and was hooked (pun intended). The fish itself is Mojarra (thinking tilapia?) and it was tender on the inside, easy to peel from the bone, and was crispy on the outside. I was pleasantly surprised that they prepared an entirely new fish for me instead of grabbing one that was already on display. This ensured that the entire outside was crispy and really tasted "fresh" rather than risk some of that crispy skin becoming soggy. It was the star of the show with everything I ordered. I also ordered two agua frescas and... they were alright. The horchata was better than the jamaica but I wouldn't order either again. For $4 each, I'd rather grab a cold drink from the supermarket. The ones from the taqueria tasted like they're prepared from one of the concentrates that the store carries. Overall, I'll definitely come back for lunch. The location is off the beaten path but worth the drive over. Definitely check it out!

Pretty great supermarket. Not too many Mexican grocery store is in Vacaville. This was good selection. The prices were a bit high but great products that you can't find in another grocery stores nearby.

The food is good and they make you feel welcome. Ambiance is simple and like what you might expect at a well run family owned diner. The restaurant is clean and it is calming to enter. I looked, and every customer appeared to be really enjoying their meal...It had that kind of ambiance. Hospitality is a very welcoming 6 stars. They are attentive and treat you nicer than you expect at a business. The food is served in very generous portions and they make a good, house made, horchata. I recommend ordering some. If grandkids are listening, I say the food is pulled up a bit by you're hospitality. Pico de gallo? A blended maybe cooked tomato chili salsa? Freshly chopped onion and cilantro? The rice is a bit bland, but when combined with the red wet burrito sauce, it is fantastic. I think a drizzle of that sauce should be on the inside of every burrito. I am a foodie, and I am giving you a full five stars overall, but recommend a little more fresh veggie. I only write reviews if establishments are excellent or somehow a disappointment. Tacos Jalisco is excellent and deserves your business.

If you want good Mexican you gotta hit Jalisco". Say less. "Oh, and get their green salsa." Ok, you said a little more but we'll get back to that. I headed out the door and started driving. Soon I realized I didn't actually know where I was going (not unusual for me) and called the host. All sorted out I not only found Tacos Jalisco but got the (green) spot right in front. Valet parking would have been less convenient. Things were looking up. I went full gringo and bought a super burrito. Was it OK? No. Was it good? No. Was it great? Getting there. Was it superb? Warmer. Was it T R A N S C E N D E N T? YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was the sauce good? Ok, let's not do this again. Yes! The sauce was HELLA GOOD! How good? Let's just say they sell it by the bottle FOR A REASON, primo. For a reason. Did I buy a bottle? Uh, do people come from out of state to buy bottles to freeze? Uh, yes. So yeah, you best believe I copped a bottle. Call the burrito Davíd Blaine because that lil hommie disappeared real quick. (I got the al pastor which was perfect btw. ) The ambiance? I don't know. Do you remember the color of the carpet when you were at the California Lottery's finance office to pick up your Powerball winnings (you picked lump sum)? Then you know what I'm talking about. A lot of tops. Place was clean. Menu's were easy to read. The very nice lady working the register was hella cool and even offered up suggestions when I was vacillating. Lots of dudes in the kitchen so my to-go came out real quick. (Lots of cooks to me means they're doing a brisk business. Which means fresher food. Faster service. Etc. You know the ------ vibes! So all I have now is this bottle of green salsa and the knowledge that refills are only $5.00. For life. Yes they make it fresh every damn day. Stop playing. Maybe I'll see you at Tacos Jalisco when I'm filling up my bottle.

I ordered a carnitas bowl with black beans, rice, and all the toppings you'd typically find in a carnitas burrito, while my wife went with a cheese quesadilla. While waiting for our food, I enjoyed a bottle of Pacifico and some chips and salsa. The salsa had a nice balance, not too spicy and not too mild. The carnitas were tender and flavorful, and the bowl was filling without feeling overly heavy, and my wife was happy with her quesadilla as well. I tried this place after hearing good things and ordered the nachos. The chips didn't have much salt or flavor and mostly tasted like fried oil. The meat was a bit dry, tough, and overly salty for my preference. I was also surprised they don't offer pico de gallo. Overall, the dish just didn't have the balance or freshness I was hoping for. One thing that would make a big difference is execution. Great nachos should be layered, whether dine-in or takeout, so that cheese and toppings are distributed throughout instead of only on top. That prevents ending up with dry chips halfway through. At the current price point, a little more attention to layering would really elevate the dish. I also noticed the onions were chopped inconsistently, with some large pieces and some very small ones. More uniform chopping would improve both texture and presentation. Eating out isn't inexpensive, so I naturally look for quality and consistency. This feedback is simply meant to be helpful, not critical. I truly believe small adjustments can make a big difference. For now, I'll stick to cooking at home or visiting some of my favorite out-of-town spots that consistently execute dishes well. Whether it's a small hole-in-the-wall or a high-end restaurant, when a kitchen understands proper technique and balance, it shows. When you know, you know.
