Super cute store in the Davis area. They've got plenty of snacks and are reasonably priced for their wide variety of options that you don't typically see in your larger grocery stores (including Asian ones)

Classy shopping bag for the Rose Moon Cake we purchased.

On our calendar, today marks a full moon. On the lunar calendar, did you know the Moon Festival is right around the corner? Thank heavens Ho Ho Market is near, and well stocked. And yes, we found Moon Cakes here!!! For those of you that unfamiliar, the mid autumn festival is celebrated in the middle of September to early October. This observance is an opportunity to give thanks for the harvest (plus peace and prosperity). We were super lucky that someone more familiar (could read Chinese and translate) was in this aisle the same time we were trying to decide which flavor of moon cake to get. So many varieties to choose from...standard red bean, mixed nuts, or lotus. This nice young man pointed out a new flavor, rose...so we tried that. Pleased to see the variety of items being sold here. We will return, as this market is super convenient with all kinds of great finds. Prices are reasonable too!

Nice small Asian goods market!

Stopped in here as the fam wanted some snacks. They got 3 for $6 mochi packs of various mochi selections. This store has a bunch of Asian goodies. A nice store to peruse. Prices are reasonable. Service is adequate.

Oh my god. If you're looking for some obscure, hard to find Asian products in Davis, this is definitely the place. It's pretty small and in a corner where you might not see it, but it's chock full of goodies that I don't usually find even in an SF super or 99 ranch. Different flavored chips, candy, and noodles, along with snacks I haven't seen since childhood. Decent prices too, such a gem of a place!

There are no Ho Ho's here=bitter disappointment. But there was a lot of other great stuff from Japan like a wide variety of mochi, White Rabbit candies, many flavors of rice snacks both sweet and savory, Royal Milk Tea, Pockey (why am I a grown-ass man that still likes these things?) and a cooler of interesting drinks by the front door. Stop on in!

Wafer rolls with chocolate filling make a yummy snack :)

This shop is very adorable and feels like a hidden treasure. It's a little hard to find at first, but it's hidden in a corner on the first level. It has a nice selection of snacks, candy, and ramen. I'm sure there were other items but I ignored them in favor of the goodies hehe. I definitely recommend to the owner to include a cheap ready-to-eat lunches section. I don't frequent Asian stores that much, but the prices seem to be on the cheap/reasonably priced end. I will definitely be coming here more often to restock my snack drawer. I docked a star BC I noticed I was charged more for an item than was stated in the aisle. (I believe it was the matcha pocky) It's a pet peeve of mine when items and their prices do not match. Other than that, I had a good experience and will be back.

Ignore the Thai food. Look @ all these snacks!

This shop has great snacks. I would 10/10 recommend them to a friend. It's a hidden gem. I could spend hours in here. They have great prices too.

Milk tea (red bean) is 4.99 while the product is place with the price tag milk tea (taro) with price 3.99.

This is my first time also definitely last time to visit here. It's nice to see Asian (Chinese) convenience store in Davis. The store is small but has almost all kinds of snacks Chinese people/students need. This is the good thing. However, the price tag system is a disaster and I am really disappointed. I was craving for some milk tea and bought the milk tea (red bean). The price tag under the product is milk tea (taro) $3.99. There is no correct price tags around. Also there is no milk tea (taro) on the shelf. So I thought it makes sense to assume the milk tea (red bean) is $3.99 too. When I checked out, the price is $4.99. I asked the lady to double-check. She said sorry, not all products have price tags. Let me address the fact again, there is no price tag $4.99 nearby this product at all. I am not saying the store does this on purpose, but the experience I had was so disappointing. This is not the only case. Another product marinated lotus root associated with a price tag $5.99 but shows $9.xx when I checked out, and I cancelled that product.

So happy another Asian store has arrived!! They have a good selection of snacks. Usually, I have to go to Sacramento to get certain things I'm looking for. It's a cute little shop that's tucked underneath the little plaza. They have aisles for snacks like chips, cookies, crackers, candy, pocky. Another one for the different rice and noodles, the many different ramen, they even have a fridge for frozen things like mochi, dumplings, meatballs. I love the many different types of sauces they have for cooking, the pickled side dishes, instant soups and they even have all the different types of drinks and teas. It's a good decent variety of items there. The worker there is uber friendly and polite. I love they have snacks that remind me of my childhood. And their prices are much cheaper too which is nice.

Sometimes I would come here after a shift at T4 or with friends to grab cold drinks, yummy snacks, ramen, or ice cream.

Made a Yelp account just to leave this review!…read more We went to Great Bear Vineyards for their Valentine's day Chocolate and Wine tasting and had a wonderful time. Their chocolate/wine pairings complemented beautifully together and left us savoring each individual flavor. Afterwards we were visited by Jenny, a winemaker who noticed our cups were empty and offered us more wine to taste. Overall, a very pleasant and romantic experience. Would love to visit again in better weather (and when the grapes are in season)!

Our…read moreoriginal plan was just to stop by for a glass of wine, but we weren't really asked what option we preferred and were automatically charged for a wine tasting. I'm guessing wine tastings are mainly what the vineyard offers, but it would've been nice to have the choice explained first. This is where my 2/5 stars comes in. They only had one person serving about 12 tables. My party was only a group of 2, but there were other tables with groups as large as 9 people. It literally took 25 minutes to receive my second pour, and the only reason we got it was because I had to remind the staff. I think having at least two people pouring wine would make the experience much smoother. Upon arrival, they also have a small parking area for non-reserved parking. Luckily, we were able to find a close spot. As for the restroom, personally I'm not a fan of unisex bathrooms, and they also did not have seat covers available. Overall, the staff was friendly, but the service and organization could definitely be improved. Apart from all this, I have visited multiple wineries in Livermore, which is closer to the Bay Area, and their wine bottles are much cheaper. Their wine tasting options are also more affordable. This is just my personal experience and opinion overall I don't think I would consider coming back.

We also decided to get a light appetizer to go with our drinks that night we got the pita bread with the warm hummus, everything is made in house and everything was so delicious. So good you almost wanna lick the plate. Our daughter walked around to take a look at the collection that they had on the wall where you can buy bottles there, Jared personally, came out to answer any question that she had about the wines and he was very knowledgable about it all. As we sat there and enjoyed our evening together, we saw all sorts of people trickle in, sit down and have drinks and food and just talk. The ambiance is very relaxed and very chill. It's so nice to know that a cool place like this exist in Davis. We will definitely be back next time with more friends and family. We enjoyed ourselves very much and it is so lovely that it has so many cute gifts and trinkets to buy for that wine enthusiast in your life. If you buy any full bottles to go you also get a discount. :)

There's a nice patio area and the inside has a surprising section of tables and chairs (it's small). We ordered the crispy taco with asada, a grilled fish taco, an asada burrito, and quesabirria tacos. Everything was amazing! The crispy taco had a nice crunch to it and did not get soggy. The asada was well seasoned. The fish taco was delish and I enjoyed the sauce that was on top. My husband enjoyed his burrito and my MIL said the Quesabirria tacos were really good. My husband inhaled his carne asada taco bowl and gave it a 10/10, even though it was hotter than usual too. The kids' bean, rice, and cheese burrito was massive, like "this could feed two small humans" massive, and totally worth the price. Their chicken quesadilla tasted good but fell apart because the chicken chunks were big and it needed more cheese to hold everything together. Now... the noise inside? Girl. It was like being inside a baseball stadium. My kids instantly slapped their hands over their ears and begged to sit outside. We moved to the patio, which was fine, but it was warm and the indoor tables are mostly for three people, so not ideal for a family of four. Sangria was amazing though, and overall we still had a great time. Guads stays in the rotation whenever we're in Davis.

If you know, it is already incredibly hard taking an autistic child to a restaurant. The manager thought it was ok to tell my 13 year old to put on my autistic son's shoes..... As my son is screaming and heaving a full meltdown over shoes now, the manager continues to apologize because there were possibly glass shards on the ground in his restaurant. If that is the case, maybe someone else should be notified as that is a serious safety hazard and my son would get cut anyway as he has sandals that expose his feet, as did my daughter.
