I was walking around Davis and saw this place . It is really cool. They even have two floors which you don't notice from outside. There are so many neat Japanese products here. It is nice to have them in one place. However the prices here are pretty steep. But if you want it you want it so splurge hehehe.

The stuff here is pretty overpriced but not bad. THERE'S A BASEMENT FLOOR!! lots of kpop anime and plushies there. top floor has a lot of good snacks albeit expensive. The workers here are pretty nice and soft-spoken here, too

Kobe Mini Mart in downtown Davis is a Japanese Store that has a little of everything Japan. There are 3 floors of Japanese offerings: - 1st floor carries snacks, candy, food, art supplies, Anime items, keychains, convenience items and kitchen items. - 2nd floor are the gatcha toys, blind boxes, collectibles as well as the learning center where you can take Japanese lessons. - Basement is the Kobe Underground where you can find cosmetics, skin care products, Manga, books, stuffed animals, scale model kits, t-shirts and tote bags. If you are looking for something Japanese, check out Kobe Mini Mart where you can find a little Japan in Davis, CA.

My fiancé and I love to stop by this mini mart any time we're in Davis. This place is 3 stories, floor 1 being the mini mart, floor 2 has anime and the learning center, and the basement has a bunch of different stuff like books and stuffed toys. You can always find something when you come here. We came by last night and the gentleman working was super friendly and welcoming. We ended up just getting a couple snacks and a drink. I definitely recommend :)

I came across this place while casually strolling around downtown Davis with a friend. I am so glad we ran into this spot. This is a cute little Japanese mart that sells all sorts of stuff -- anime merch (keychains, stickers, posters), plushies, stationery, snacks, bathroom items, manga, EVERYTHING. One cool part about this place is that there are stairs leading to a basement floor which has a study area for people to hang around. It feels so homely and cozy. I bought a Popin' Cookin' kit as well as a cute little Corocoro Life plush that is now hanging on my car's rear view mirror as my lil' driving buddy!

I was leisurely bebopping around downtown Davis on a recent lazy weekend afternoon. I eyed this place... Kobe Mini Mart. The sign distinguished itself as a Japanese mini mart. My curiosity was peaked, so off I go venturing in. So glad I did. This place sells a bit of everything. I was a bit awe struck with all the inventory. You do not normally find a place like this outside the Bay area. Even Sacramento does not have a shop like this. They have Japanese and Asian candy and snacks; food staples such as rice, noodles; frozen foods including mochi; cold case of Japanese sodas; deli hot buns; plates/bowls; plushies; and stuff that I am not hip enough to understand. That stuff is Funko, anime character keychains (which reminded me of shrinkee dinks), stickers, cards, figurines, model kits/paints/brushes, and toys. Get this, they have a whole other floor which I did not go see. More stuff!!

Really cool store in the Davis area with some Japanese snacks and a whole bunch of key chains, toys, mangas, etc

Yes, that says chicken wing flavor, YUM!

Such an adorable mini mart! We were waiting on our food from Honey D next door and decided to take a peek. Pleasantly welcomed as we entered, we were not harassed for browsing. They have quite the variety of food items not available in traditional markets. It sure was neat to see all the things they offer for sale. Felt like gaining five pounds just looking at all the tasty treats. Everything from delicate pastry, frozen desserts, unique candies, even chicken wing flavored chips! Naturally we bought a bag LOL We will be back! Spotted some lovely Japanese stationery and will check it out when we have more time. Thank you again for offering a nice variety of things to buy. We certainly commend your friendly customer service.

The Cloudbreaker immediately met my taste buds with bitterness and then left my tongue completely numb for several minutes. Perhaps those sensations would have paid off if they were followed by a calming or THC-like effect, but I didn't experience any change in mental state. The comfortable atmosphere saves this establishment from 1 star. Dim lights, leather couches, chill music, and colorful tiki wall art make for a decent study spot or date night. However, if you're hanging out at a business, you gotta support it, and to support it, you gotta buy something -- I can't see myself buying anything kava-related with any ounce of enjoyment. Surely there must be some variation of a kava drink that tastes delightful. I don't want to spend any more money finding out though.

Every pastry is displayed so perfectly that it almost feels impossible to choose. You honestly want to try everything, and that is both the best and most dangerous part because the price does add up quickly. I will say upfront, their baked goods are on the expensive side. But at the same time, you can tell you are paying for quality, presentation, and that true bakery feel. It feels a little indulgent, but in a way that can be worth it depending on what you get. I tried their Ferrero Rocher dessert, and if I am being honest, it was not my favorite. It looked amazing, but the flavor did not fully live up to the expectation for me. On the other hand, I also got a chocolate croissant, and while the pastry itself was light, flaky, and airy, I was a little disappointed by the lack of chocolate inside. I was hoping for a richer filling to match how good the pastry texture was. That said, their pastries overall are still very well made. They have that perfect balance of being light and airy while still feeling satisfying, which is not easy to do. The real standout for me was the French toast. It absolutely knocked it out of the park. It was rich, flavorful, and honestly brought the whole experience together. If you go, I would highly recommend ordering it because it completely changed my overall impression of the visit. Overall, Estelle is one of those places where the atmosphere and presentation pull you in, and while not everything may hit perfectly, there are standout items that make it worth trying. Just be prepared to spend a bit, and go in knowing you might have to be selective with what you order.
