Have always seen this place packed to the brim with students studying and have always wanted to try! It was good- the coffee was enjoyable and the pastry was sweet. The chocolate muffin could have been more rich in flavor but I still enjoyed it. I can see how this place is a nice place to study solo. The workers were nice too!

Mint latte was pretty good ($7 after tax and tip). Cafe stays super busy but the seats are rotating in availability if you are willing to wait. I like how they play jazz music instead of songs with lyrics (makes it easier to do work). WiFi connects but it doesn't work so I had to use a hotspot. There's outlets to charge along the wall or at the booth seats. 2 hour parking right outside if you're lucky!

Probably should've taken a picture when this was full but it was a snickerdoodle latte

What we got: Drinks -Snickerdoodle latte 3.5/5. Creamy and not too sweet, but would've preferred the flavor of snickerdoodle spices to come through a bit more (somewhat muted). Decent price. Aesthetic/Design 4/5 -Larger space though tables are pretty close together and when we went it was pretty packed so expect not a lot of room to maneuver if busy. Tables outside available for seating which is nice (assuming weather is good). Warm colors with decor & design that evokes a rustic, old school cafe vibe. Service 3.5/5 Probably because they're crowded often, more about getting the order down and out! Not rude though which is saying a lot for how many customers they get! Ordered 2 lattes of the same flavor that did take a while but again, wasn't too much of an excessive wait considering the high load of people they have to cater to.

Sitting outdoors under an umbrella enjoying the weather and people watching.

Passing through, I needed to use a bathroom and while I was at it, get a beverage too. Whoweeee! I got a mint latte! It is so strong I think my hair is growing in stronger now! I can't finish my drink but it will definitely useful tomorrow morning! LOL!

Stopped by for coffee and it was pretty busy already by 8:30 on a Saturday morning! They have a great location in the middle of downtown Davis. I wanted to try one of their seasonal drinks so I chose the pumpkin latte since I saw on their Instagram that they make their pumpkin syrup in house. Unfortunately the drink was not pumpkin enough. The top of the drink is covered in cinnamon and it was all I could taste despite trying to mix the drink as much as possible. As a result it just tasted like a cinnamon latte. My husband's drink was much better, love that they had a dirty Thai Tea here (it's called Jolted Thai). They also have an impressive pastry case so lots of things to choose from for you to enjoy with your coffee! The service is truly hit or miss. The guy was super nice but the girl could not crack a smile or say thank you. You could barely even hear her behind the protective screen at the cashier, and she looked so annoyed that I bothered to even ask about our blueberry muffin even though she was the one who never gave it to us... I'll consider coming back to try other drinks in the future since they have a good selection of seasonal options, and I'd love to upgrade my rating, but for now today's first experience was so-so.

Great coffee spot in Davis. Great selection of coffee and pastries and treats. The staff are always friendly and the coffee good. Sometimes it is too busy so I usually get it to go. But typical small city coffee hangout. Great local spot that students and locals alike share. Give it a go. Only downsides is it is a little pricey and sometimes there is a wait.

This place was super cute and the service was amazing!! They accidentally made one of our drinks cold instead of hot and were so kind about fixing up a new drink quickly. I had the secret garden latte, which is one of the seasonal drinks, it was lavender and rose and it was such a delicious combination! Our barista also helped recommend a drink to my mom who is always very indecisive, and she was very happy with her drink!

I got the pecan bar here and the iced chai latte. It was just ok, the chai latte was super watered down and not memorable. The pecan bar was delicious and so decadent. I love that they served it chilled and it tasted super fresh. Would recommend coming here for the pastries, kind service, and lovely ambiance. I love the tables and the little placards on them as well.

Ahhh, Mishka's, definitely my favorite coffee shop in Davis. I usually come in for the wide varieties of tea, but on a hot day I went for the lemonade, which was an excellent choice. This place is popular, which means it can sometimes be hard to find a table.

Nice setting, pretty good coffee. However, it is expensive. We also bought a lemonade juice thing that was so diluted it was clear and tasted like straight water with some lemon.

The staff was very friendly, the coffee was great, and the croissant was delicious. The atmosphere is also really nice. Make sure to leave a tip at places like this, the service is excellent, and even something small like 50 cents is appreciated. Thanks, Temple Roasted Coffee!

I won't go into the reasons why, but I wound up forgetting to order my coffee decaffeinated. I wound up ordering a Mexican mocha with almond milk and light whip. I also ordered a veggie scone. Both the barista and the person working the counter were friendly and nice. I LOVED the Mexican mocha. It wasn't too sweet (which I was worried about), didn't need sugar, but was delicious. It had a nice mix of the robust coffee flavor and the richness of the Mexican chocolate. The scone was good. I liked the mix of veggies and cheese. I think it would have been better if it were heated. This cafe is somewhat small. While there is a good amount of seating, it gets pretty packed in here. I'd say my biggest con of this cafe if you're drinking your coffee there are the seats and the lack of electrical outlets to charge your computer. The bar stools are pretty uncomfortable. I really could only sit the stool for about an hour. Since the stools didn't have a backrest, I started getting sore. I'd definitely get coffee here again.

When I went on a rainy and windy Saturday afternoon there were tons of college students studying and it was quiet inside and pretty much all the seats were filled. Their menu had normal coffee drinks and lattes such as Americano, cappuccino, mocha, jasmine and earl grey tea. They also had unique drinks such as miso caramel latte, pandan latte, matcha pandan latte, matcha and hojicha. In addition, they had a spring seasonal menu and their current specials were a mango matcha drink and passion fruit espresso drink with tonic water. I ordered the hojicha latte with oat milk with light sweetener and light ice. They had options of whole milk, almond, or oat milk for milk. The cashier told me light ice meant there was going to be more oat milk. It was $5.80 which is cheaper than most cafes for hojicha however the quality wasn't as great as other cafes I've been to. The hojicha latte lacked flavor and tasted oily and didn't have the nutty flavor I'm used to but I still finished it. They usually have two bathrooms and they only had one available and sometimes you had to wait in a line for 20 min since there was so many people in the cafe which is inconvenient. Hopefully, they have the other bathroom fixed soon. Overall, it's a nice cafe with nice ambiance and some unique drink selections but I was not satisfied with the hojicha latte as there was no flavor. At least the prices are lower than other cafes. Maybe another drink would have been better.

I like that their drinks seem to be more about the quality of the tea versus having a ton of different flavor options. They open at a time I think is somewhat late in the day on weekdays (12pm), and there tends to be a least a few people waiting to get in by the time noon rolls around. Order at the kiosk. I've been getting the Cape Jasmine with Coconut Cream whenever I'm here (but do plan to try something new next time). The coconut cream really adds a lot to the drink, in my opinion, especially since I lowered the sweetness level. At Molly Jasmine, I do recommend keeping a higher sweetness level because otherwise the tea tends to taste a bit more bitter at first. The cream did blend into the drink to help balance out the taste, but as someone who tends to think drink / milk tea places tend to be overly sweet, you're drink likely won't be sweet enough if you reduce the sweetness at Molly Jasmine. It's a bright, open interior. Cutely decorated. Although, there's not a ton of seating. Great drink spot to check out.

So ofc when I was in town, I had to try it. This "Molly Tea" is not the same as the Bay Area's (no store listed in Davis on the official Molly Tea website) and is also known as "jasmine tea house" on Google Maps which confused me. Walking in there was a very unpleasant smell, almost like bleach/chlorine mixed with jasmine tea fragrance. (Not great!) We sat outside. However the drinks were not bad. Not as "presentable" as the authentic Molly Tea (no fancy straw or seal), but the osmanthus oolong milk tea was on par taste wise. Overall, it's a good "knock off molly tea" and satisfied our boba craving. It's good enough for Davis but def lacks the polish of real Molly Tea's.

The Cloudbreaker immediately met my taste buds with bitterness and then left my tongue completely numb for several minutes. Perhaps those sensations would have paid off if they were followed by a calming or THC-like effect, but I didn't experience any change in mental state. The comfortable atmosphere saves this establishment from 1 star. Dim lights, leather couches, chill music, and colorful tiki wall art make for a decent study spot or date night. However, if you're hanging out at a business, you gotta support it, and to support it, you gotta buy something -- I can't see myself buying anything kava-related with any ounce of enjoyment.
