Came in specifically for the Miso caramel latte and Pandan Latte. I've had plenty of miso caramel lattes and what I love about it is a good contrast of your savory/salt you get from the miso paste and something sweet like caramel. What I'm missing is the sweet. Don't get me wrong I don't love things overly sweet but it lacks enough caramel to have a good juxtaposition because I got mostly salt and savory. If I order this in the future I would just ask for maybe a little more caramel. The star of the coffees was the Pandan latte. Pandan is green and reinforces a coconut type of flavor. It's bold enough with out feeling like it's over wheeling in syrup, so they balance it well. The plus is texture when they include a coconut toffee on top. Got a small pandan matcha as I was enticed by the photos, but unfortunately it was quite underwhelming. The matcha flavor was too light, and the drink ended up just tasting like watery milk with a hint of matcha. The only thing saving the drink were the toffee crumbs on top which were quite enjoyable. Came here a little while ago to study and the vibes are impeccable! I love what they've done with the space. It's spacious and bright inside. Downside is that there doesn't seem to be AC, so it was quite warm inside. I ordered a matcha pandan which I noticed was whisked fresh. The drink featured a house-made pandan syrup and was topped with latik (a Filipino ingredient often used in desserts and is cooked down coconut-milk). I was super impressed by their latik! It tasted legit but was crispy and not oily which is not the usual for latik. Overall, the matcha was subtle in flavor, but the drink made for a nice study treat! I ordered one to take home. Love their pandan latte. If you sip without a straw you'll miss the pandan flavor on top. Once you stir it you'll taste it but it's subtle. You can definitely tell the flavor is made in house. Went to check out Frenzy today and was impressed with the spacious size of this cafe. There is a lot of room for hanging out here. The cafe is broken up into three sections - the coffee bar in the middle, and 2 large areas to sit. There is a long table section that is great if you have a device as there are numerous outlets for you to charge your phone, tablet, or laptop. I found the interior of this cafe to be well lit and decorated - just an awesome ambiance! The menu of coffee isn't the largest, but they do have their own specialties that you can customize with the kind of milk you like. I went for their vanilla latte in the larger 16oz size. To go with it I got a chocolate croissant. The latte was decent, but certainly not the best I've had. It's too bad that they only have to-go cups as it would have been nice to enjoy the coffee in a proper cup while hanging out in the cafe. The chocolate croissant pasty wasn't anything special. The servers didn't give me an option to have it toasted or warmed, so I was a bit disappointed at that. Chocolate croissants are best when the chocolate is melted within the crisp pasty. As it came to me, the pastry was soft with the chocolate hard. So if you're looking for one of the best cafes to hang out or study at, Frenzy is probably the place for you. Such a cute spot! The interior decorations are so cute and calming here. There's a lot of sunlight that comes in, so the space is bright and inviting. They really utilized the space well! The ambiance of this place is open, modern, and airy with a lot windows and natural sunlight. There are so many succulent plants lining the windows and around the cafe which adds a cute touch. I love that there was tons of seating! When I went on a rainy and windy Saturday afternoon there were tons of college students studying and it was quiet inside and pretty much all the seats were filled. Their menu had normal coffee drinks and lattes such as Americano, cappuccino, mocha, jasmine and earl grey tea. They also had unique drinks such as miso caramel latte, pandan latte, matcha pandan latte, matcha and hojicha. In addition, they had a spring seasonal menu and their current specials were a mango matcha drink and passion fruit espresso drink with tonic water. I ordered the hojicha latte with oat milk with light sweetener and light ice. They had options of whole milk, almond, or oat milk for milk. The cashier told me light ice meant there was going to be more oat milk. It was $5.80 which is cheaper than most cafes for hojicha however the quality wasn't as great as other cafes I've been to. The hojicha latte lacked flavor and tasted oily and didn't have the nutty flavor I'm used to but I still finished it. They usually have two bathrooms and they only had one available and sometimes you had to wait in a line for 20 min since there was so many people in the cafe which is inconvenient. Hopefully, they have the other bathroom fixed soon. Overall, it's a nice cafe with nice ambiance and some unique drink selections but I was not satisfied with the hojicha latte as there was no flavor. At least the prices are lower than other cafes. Maybe another drink would have been better. read more

Popped by here for an afternoon of studying and got an iced hojicha latte with 10g of honey syrup. The atmosphere is lovely and open and the barista who helped me was very sweet and communicative (they even added more honey for me after I'd drank half of it and the ice was melting). It's really cute and airy and that's where the positives end. They had 3 people working on drinks and it still took almost 10 minutes to get my drink. I got a mocha and it didn't taste like anything? I heard they only do one shot for lattes so that makes sense. It wasn't chocolate-y and the coffee flavor wasn't there.
