This place is amazing! I always make this a stop on my road trips. Tamales are flippin amazing and produce is gorgeous.

Away a please to stop by. Today we were on a quest for getting veggies for the football party we were attending that afternoon. We found a little bag of carrots and some Mandarins to bring. I pre pealed the mandarins before the party so they were easy to much on and it was a success. We also got some kiwis. I belive it was a bag of 6 for $0.99. A great deal for kiwis. Last time I got them and saved them in the fridge and they lasted a week. These are a bit soft so hopefully they will last just as long. We also got a head of Lettuce for under $2 which is a good deal. It's nice and fresh, we got iceberg this time and it was a big head. Last time we got green leaf and the time before that we got the red leaf. All very fresh. Parking was easy. When we arrived maybe when we got there we saw 5 cars in the parking lot so we got a space right up front. When we left it over doubled, it was still easy to get out. Traffic flows well. Bathrooms were well stocked and clean. It's always a must stop on our journey. Pedrick Produce is the place to stop for produce and dry goods. read more

It's our regular stopping ground when driving back from Sacramento. This place has those old-school farm vibes--even if it doesn't quite have the old-school farm prices. It's a little on the pricey side, but definitely worth a stop to stretch your legs and grab a quick bite before jumping back on the road for the rest of a long drive. Parking: Huge and accommodating! Just watch out for big rigs Location: easily accessible! This store is right off the freeway and next to a gas station Ambiance: rustic and comforting! Usually smells like chocolate and fruit Food: various verities of fruits, vegetables, nuts, candy, beverages and much more. Not to mention their high demand elote and tamales!! A lot of the items come from local farms so you will see things raw milk, honey, pumpkins, pickled goods, ice cream and chocolate! Definitely a unique roadside attraction and produce store right off the 80 in Dixon. Fruit yogurt covered pretzels, nuts, the Wall of Chocolate as well as the Wall of Flame. Local produce, as well as other produce (yes, we're in an agricultural mecca, but no one grows bananas here). In an old Quonset hut, with an adjacent buildin about the same size as the store for warehousing. Staff friendly and helpful. Charming. Definitely worth the stop. read more

Before you get to the mask-wearing woke zombies at the Davis coop, you should exit in Dixon and grab a cart. Ranchers and field workers fill the aisles under some dreadful twangy countryfide muzak and stock up on agricultural treasures and hand made candies off surging I-80 and dreary flat landscapes. Small store packed to the ceilings with all kinds of goods: candy, dried fruits, nuts, grains, hot sauces, honey, jams, chocolates, prepared foods, and produce. Boyfriend and I checked it out over the weekend and it was super crowded when we went. Seems like the very front has the deals of the day like the oranges I snagged. The caramel apples were definitely a highlight and we would come back just to try the other flavors...we got the cheesecake caramel which is a super fresh green apple coated in soft caramel, then a layer of white chocolate, and dusted with graham cracker. We fly into Sacramento (SMF) often and ALWAYS make it a point to stop at PEDRICK PRODUCE in Dixon, CA, either on our way to Fairfield, or on our way back to the airport. They're open 7 days a week from 7am-7:30pm. It's a cozy farmers market under one roof since 1989! They partner with local farmers to deliver the best!! Our favorites: Nuts, Fruits, Assorted Gift Boxes during the holidays, Hot Sauces, Pies, and Tamales!! So yummy and affordable! I love when Lavender is season, too!! Produce depends on the season and the fruit selections are always vibrant, plump, and sweet to taste. Highly recommend grabbing some cherries and strawberries when they're in season!! I love grabbing Tamales because they're always hot! They're conveniently packaged isonthat you can eat them in the car! We always drizzle some hot sauce provided, and finish them before we arrive at our destination. My favorite is the Chile & Cheese! A couple years ago I received a complimentary bag just for checking in on Yelp, and still use it till this day! I am so glad we decided to stop here while en route to San Francisco from Sacramento. Located off I-80, I was surprised at how many other motorists had decided to exit this small off-ramp in order to also visit this store. The parking lot was PACKED!! It is a small road side market offering so many types of fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, beverages, spices and several other items. The also offer hot tamales and street corn which I had kind if each and they were both DELICIOUS!!! How is one local country store better than another? When they have low prices for local organic produce! But today's review is based on the tamales and the sweet corn! I'm not that big on where to buy good tamales. But this place got 'em. And they tasted pretty good. The sweet corn was something my younger son raved. It's rather pricey at $5. But it's street food so it is what it is! But I'm just happy I found a good quick brunch place on the drive down to Bay Area. I was passing by the area and decided to stop by. This place had a pretty big parking lot. They have carts but it does get a little tight inside. They have a great variety of items. We had some spare time and saw all the signs from the highway I thought we should check it out. There's a lot of open farmland around Fairfield and figured everything they sold in the market was fresh from their farm, but when I asked the salesclerk, he said it was not. Some items are shipped in. The cost of the produce is about the same as what you would get at your regular grocery store. However, they had different items and of course it's limited. They sold fresh tamales, which made it a little different. They also sold ice cream from Fenton's. The girls chose pumpkin flavor because it was seasonal, they thoroughly enjoyed it. Love that they had a unique array of different dried fruits. I have never seen dried watermelon before. They also sold a selection of salami and olive oils. read more

Unlike most people I was not super impressed with this place but I wanted to give it a try since I've heard so much about it. There is a wide selection of produce and other things like seasoning and sauces that may not be sold in stores. The place itself is pretty small. Prices were pretty similar to Fri try store prices or higher. I really wanted to try a yellow watermelon and it cost $11 dollars which I thought was insane. ***TAMALES FANS BEWARE!!!*** Have been buying tamales from Pedricks for several years now... Purchased 5 "Chile con queso" yesterday.... And couldn't believe how Pedricks would change their tamales quality from 10 to a -1 or below... Not sure if they have a new manufacturer... the "chile con queso" tamales, didn't had no cheese, a soggy piece of chile and HALF of the size from the ones that they used to make... and on top, now they have this piece of wax paper wrapping a solo corn wrap...just to make it more soggy?!? Next time I will just go across the freeway and try their tamales.... ANYTHING will be better than the sorry tamales they are selling now at their store....
