Over the last month with our venturing out and about from the coast to the central Valley to the Bay Area visiting different farmers market, this by far continues to stay our number one followed by another one close to the Hollister area. Even though this is a cash only location which also provides two ATM machines inside, we can always find the needed necessities from fruit, to veggies, to flowers and you pick options. A pretty decent sized establishment, which is open every day of the week except on Wednesdays. They have a pretty decent sized parking lot and on the premises most of the time you'll find up to two food vendors. This time around I really enjoyed the flower picking option which you can get a very large bundle for five dollars then you can also visit outback of their establishment of the very large harvesting area of their crops. Lots of produce provided by lots of local vendors brought in by large bin loads.. This time, I also noticed that they have peanuts that you can pick from a bin inside as well. The best part of all is their pricing that is offered on their produce. Again, great location, surrounded by great wineries as well. read more

Every yeat I anticipate the opening of Larry's. I love it opens at the height of cherry season ...my fav summer spring/summer fruit. The last time I went was during thier harvest festival time ....tons and tons of pumpkins. Beautiful and large gords to choose from were in large decorated stacks. What I also enjoyed was the food trucks that were out that day. Per usual the lines went relatively smooth and service is was very pleasant. Open open open...Come on June.! Ciao for now... read more

So happy Larry's is open again for the season! Just picked up a fresh batch of fruits and veggies that I can't wait to enjoy!

If you love fresh produce and want a good price, avoid Whole Foods and come here instead. Larry's has a wide variety of fruits and vegetables that most commercial markets can't compete with. This place is very popular so plan accordingly. Don't let the long lines discourage you because their exceptional staff are moving customers through quickly. It's a cash operation, which helps keep the cost down because we know that the credit card companies are greedy. read more

Wifey and I met up with our granddaughter to visit the pumpkin patch. We usually come here to buy fresh produce because they offer a variety of fruit and vegetables to choose from and is priced very well. It is well organize and easy to find what you're looking for. During the visit our granddaughter played in the corn field as she hid behind them to play peek a boo We went during the week and earlier enough she can come home and take a nap. Overall it was a good time and we all enjoyed our visit. read more

First time back in about 10 years, and it's only gotten better!!! What a great selection of both fruits and veggies, and of a better quality than the markets: Raley's, Walmart, FoodMaxx, etc. They're also cheaper than in those markets! read more

Good variety of fruits, vegetables, melons, etc. Reasonable prices. Shopping buckets extremely dirty and unsanitary. General facilities seem to lack maintenance and upkeep...could do better. read more

Self service. Crowded. Indifferent cashiers. Lots of produce, some lower prices, but no more bargains. Saw what looked like a bargain: a small crate (about 10) of Manila mangoes for $3. So excited... but when I got home they were brown through out. Not a bargain... Lots of locals buying. read more

We met up with my mini me and her family to hang out at the pumpkin patch. It was my first time at the pumpkin patch and I enjoyed it. I loved the setup and walking around to the various sections they had. They have a haunted house but it was not open at the time since it was early morning but looks fun regardless. My grand daughter enjoyed the corn maze and sitting on the tractors. Great spots to take pictures too. The patch was laid out so nicely. read more

It was hard to find produce that wasn't damaged. It was mostly farmer quality as opposed to good market produce. After my papaya bounced in the cart across the gravel parking lot, it was turning into purée so I had to exchange it. Ended up with a smaller one as an "even" exchange. I was too hot to argue the point. read more

We brought our 1-year-old daughter to the pumpkin patch at Larry's Produce and had such a great time! It was nice to be able to shop for fresh produce while also enjoying all the fall activities. When you have a little one, it can be hard to find affordable things for them to enjoy, so we really appreciated that Larry's had so many pumpkins to choose from and fun free activities like the corn bath -- my daughter absolutely loved the sensory play! We didn't realize there was also a maze until we heard other people mention it, so that's something we'll definitely check out next time. There's always a lot happening at Larry's, and depending on when you go, it can get pretty busy -- but that just shows how popular it is. Overall, we really enjoyed the Halloween event and all the great produce. We'll definitely be coming back! read more

My friend has been telling me about this place for a while now and I'm so thankful we finally had an opportunity to visit Larry's. What a great find! I stopped by this produce store with my son and we were both impressed right away. I The space is big and super well-organized, which made shopping feel easy and even fun. There's a huge selection of fruits and veggies, everything from everyday staples (tomatoes, onions, broccoli) to more unique finds (egg plants, beats, seeded watermelon). To top it off, everything looked fresh and edible. I'm not sure if everything or anything is organic, but the variety alone makes it worth the trip. Prices were reasonable overall, and it felt like we were getting a lot of value for what we spent. It's definitely the kind of place you want to return to when you're stocking up for the week. **Something to note is that it is a CASH ONLY produce store*** I didn't have cash but they did have an ATM machine available for me to pull cash which includes a fee, as well as a fee from my bank. This was the only down side to this experience. What made this experience even more pleasant is my son actually enjoyed tagging along, which is saying something! read more

I lived in Fairfield for several years and Larry's was our go to place during the season for fresh produce. The prices and variety are great and it's fresh from the surrounding fields. In the fall, the pumpkin patch has fun variety for all ages, and the activities for kids are fun- corn maze, corn pit, hayrides. read more

So many different kinds of fresh fruit and vegetables. I can't wait until it opens up again!

I really enjoyed the field of flowers that were available for picking. The price was very reasonable. I need to come back to try their produce soon! read more

Good service and a nice variety of farm fresh produce. Always look forward to going here.

Been here a couple of times now throughout the year(s) on buying produce. The times I been here is around spring & fall, I would definitely recommend coming here around fall as this place sell various pumpkins! During spring they grow flowers on their plot of land & you can pick your own flowers bundles & purchase them(definitely ask the workers before picking flowers & pricing). There tend to be a lot of people at this place & sometimes parking can be a bit difficult. As for produce shopping, This place has a good selection of produce & are reasonably price. One of my favorite finds is that they sell HUMONGOUS mangos that bigger than your hand! It was also VERY delicious. There's also a food truck with its own seating area at this location so if you do get hungry you can buy a meal here! read more

Always a pleasure coming here with my family. In the summer we pick flowers in the field and in the fall they host an epic pumpkin patch with a cornmaze . The produce selection is vast and affordable compared to some local grocers. Cash only. read more

Great service and selection , something for everyone and the prices are great . I plan on getting cucumbers for pickles!!!

I think this place is super cute! It's a local store where you can shop fresh produce at great prices! During fall, they have a lot of pumpkins to shop, take photos with friends and family and they also have a small corn maze. It's a great spot to bring your kids as well, since they have areas where they can play. There are food trucks where you can buy either Mexican food, ice cream, and a BBQ corner where they're roasting chicken and meat. There's seating areas as well where you can sit to eat whatever you buy. FYI: they ONLY accept CASH, no cards at all. They do have ATMS onsite if you forget cash, but for your convenience just bring cash. I want to come back and buy some of that BBQ! It looked delicious. Expect this place to be BUSY, as it's very small, and very popular. read more

Visiting Sacramento earlier this year in April and came across this produce store. It was closed until June. Visited again in July and was very happy they were open. They have a very wide selection and great prices. I purchased yams, they were huge! Nectarines, Avocados, peaches and red cherries. I paid about $15 and had 3-4 of each fruit. They have shopping baskets and the ground is gravel. My granddaughter enjoyed the bumpy ride. The ambiance for me was country. I had a great time shopping. Checking out was fast also. There is plenty of parking. read more

Very fresh produce when they're open. You can pick your own for a price by weight. Loved their pumpkin patch fun for the kids in the Fall that includes a corn bath, corn maze, tractors to sit on and pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. They're closed from mid November through to June. Best day would be the day before they close for the season since they sell a lot of produce for extra cheap!! They typically have a Mexican food truck out front and portable toilets in the parking. They have extra parking across the street since it can get pretty busy during their peak seasons!!! read more

I finally made a trip to Larry's produce!!! *Crowd cheering and applause* Larry's produce has been on my bucket list to try for a while now since my significant other first told me about it. The plan today was to go to lunch, then go to Larry's produce. With life sometimes there's a change in plans. The place that was going to for lunch was closed. Since I was already in the area, I went ahead to Larry's produce to check them out. I was pretty hangry, so, I wasn't there for very long- I was kind of in and out. The reviews mentioned that if you don't get there early, that parking is full- I was able to find parking. In fact there were a few parking spots. Also the store wasn't very crowded. It was busy; was able to get around just fine to find what I need. (Not bad for almost 2pm on a Saturday!) But due the hunger pains I picked up very few items. I picked up a couple eggplants, a peach, a yellow nectarine, bananas, and a container of blueberries. There are a lot of things that caught my eye but I just was ready to go. I didn't really plan out a list or else I would have picked up a lot more. The wait in line wasn't very long either, although there was a few people ahead of me with a cart full of stuff. There were a couple of food trucks outside of Larry's that smelled pretty good but because they were sort of pricey I passed on him and end up going somewhere else for lunch. The views of the mountains in the distance isn't pretty bad either!:) . A few things to note: LP is a cash only market (You can use the ATM...be wary of the fees), bring your own bags, there are white buckets you can use to carry your groceries in as well as small grocery carts. I definitely will be back! read more

Larry's still has the best prices around. Cash only. Also take your own cart/wagon so you won't be stuck waiting for one.

Absolutely love this place I been going there for years and will continue to go back. All produce are very fresh and reasonably priced. During the weekend is really busy so if you can go during the week it will definitely help avoid long lines. read more

So lucky to have fresh produce nearby and very good affordable prices also. Way cheaper than high grocery prices.

Lots of fruits and veggies! They take cash only! But there is an atm inside if you didn't bring cash

I've been produce shopping at Larry's Produce for as long as I can remember (easily over a decade). Produce is fresh, wagons, carts and buckets are available to load up your groceries and almost anything you want or need is there for you at a reasonable price. Please keep in mind that this is a cash only establishment. However, if you forget your cash, they have an ATM available. read more
