The store owner yelled at me today to never come back. Absolutely! As we are all coming down with flu's and colds this season, I like to boil a ginger lemon water to build up the immune system. So I came here to purchase ginger and went home cutting them all open to find the ginger was very old, turning blue and grey colors. Returned today to ask for a refund, with the bag of cut up ginger - by now, was it super dried out after cutting it open 12 hours ago. The cashiers refused to refund me and asked me to speak to "the manager" at the back of the store. After zero success of obtaining $1.71 back for the bad ginger at the cash wrap, I finally walked back there. The manager proceed to tell me that their Ginger was from Brazil and it is SUPPOSED TO BE BLUE COLORED. I disagreed and confirmed it was old Ginger and it's not worth loosing a customer over $2. The manager stopped fighting me and handed me my refund in nickels and dimes. Seriously? I told him, "you've just ruined my experience of wanting to support small and local businesses like yours over $2 instead of owning up to bad product that should NO LONGER be on the floor then to return my refund all in change?" He proceeded to yell at me to never come back as he reluctantly handed me two dollar bills! I responded with, "pendejo!!" Unfortunately, I won't be back. Even though they stock my favorite "double happiness" oranges. It's too bad as a business owner, you can't own up to selling bad, spoiled produce.

COCONUT JUICE! FRESH AND OH SO REFRESHING!

Freshly squeezed juice over here!!! OHH YEAHHHHH! On the top of my list is the COCONUT JUICE which is perfect on a hot summer day! CHILLED AND REFRESHING! It includes the coconut water and coconut meat! In at second place for me is the oh so VITAMIN A & C PACKED ORANGE AND CARROT JUICE! An amazing way to start off your morning! It is a small corner store but it's clean and customer service is great!

I bought a bottle of milk and the milk was expired. is my mistake also because I did not check the expiration date. But milk is very very dangerous. It's good to kill you.

Pastor burrito

The pastor and asada burritos weren't bad, but one of my least favorite Mexican places in terms of taste.

Great little corner market with a variety of Hispanic goods. The produce is always fresh and of good quality. The carniceria has excellent seasoned meat. I frequently order from the taqueria. The food is amazing and flavorful. Prices for produce, groceries and taqueria is average.

Super Nachos Al Pastor

The best Mexican food I've had in Vallejo; the super nachos and super burrito are amazing. Very flavorful meat. The grocery store and meat counter are great as well. Always friendly service. Go here!

Steak Tacos....Never Again. Does anyone know where to get good Tacos in Vallejo

I've been on a hunt for a good Mexican Meat Market where I could find good Carne Asada to take home and grill myself. Welp this my go to from now on. I've tried numerous markets in Vallejo and been let down. They have good produce as well. This review is solely based on the Carne Asada. NOTE: I also got a couple steak tacos from the kitchen. Not impressed, my hunt continues for good Tacos in Vallejo!

This is a great carneceria/taqueria to have in the neighborhood. Has a lot of what you might need in produce/meat and offers great hot food as well. Plus $1.50 tacos!! Can't beat that. The tacos are a good size the burritos are cheap as well. You can't go wrong with what you order. This place is awesome if you want some good cheap Mexican food.

Local mexican market. Good selection of produce, meats and eats. Prices are reasonable and on par with other markets in the area.

4++ Farmers market that pops up in the Downtown Martinez area on Sundays I believe…read more While the market isn't huge, there's a really good selection of produce purveyors along with some eateries, some bakeries, and some general vendors. This farmers market as a small town charm to it and every person I interacted with was friendly. I was in the area because I crashed at a buddy's house the night before. When I was leaving the area, I saw this place and wanted to check it out. Keep in mind it was around the holidays and it was drizzling a bit that Sunday, so I'm not sure if it affected the amount of vendors present as this was my first time visiting. I ended up getting some enchiladas to go from one of the vendors selling Mexican food and a loaf of quinoa bread from one of the bakers (West Won Bread out of Napa). The food was good and the quinoa loaf was amazing and enjoyed by my parents and I later on when we served with some stew. Would love to re-visit with better weather conditions and different parts of the year. But definitely an enjoyable market based on my first visit.

Really nice group of vendors here. Lots of fresh veggies & fruit. Plenty of pastries too ;)…read moreAll the vendors were friendly & helpful. Super location with enough different items to serve everyone. I highly recommend coming here on Sunday mornings from 9-1. Don't forget to stop at at House of Petals the brick n mortar flower shop. Simply fabulous too!
