This is a package that says it contains (6) Beef Enchiladas.
Michael A.

We saw their booth at the Martinez Farmer's Market Sunday, July 9th. 2023. Of course we were intrigued and the lady offered us a sample of a tamale that was being steamed. It tasted well enough that we purchased a 6pk of them as well as a package of 6 Beef Enchiladas. I'm not sure if it was because they had theirs being steamed but, as others have reviewed on here about their tamales, not only are they dry, the masa versus meat ratio, well, the meat wasn't enveloped in the masa so much as being placed beside or underneath it, then wrapped in corn husk. Very, very dry, and seriously needs either mole or some kind of salsa to help make it palatable. As a kid I never had issue eating a tamale without it being covered in sauce! I truly miss the New Mexican Red Chili tamales made by my grandmother. I wish the lady at their booth had recommended we purchase some kind of sauce for their tamales. Next my complete disappointment after microwaving one of the enchiladas. I'll give them this, it took to being microwaved quite well, and came out very hot! But, once cutting into it is where my dismay took over. It looks like the beef, if there was any was pureed to the point it looks like pulverized refried beans with cheese on top. Really lacking in flavor, hey, just take a look at the pictures! These pics were not photo edited at all. I'm very disappointed and apparently, we're not the only ones who took the time to review Mi Fiesta Authentic Mexican Cooking after being sorely saddened by the loss of money towards their false advertising and claims of authenticity.

Veggie tamales

We bought their tamales on a market and could not finish it: it was so dull and tasteless, just a few canned veggies in mushy corn. 14$ for that! Very disapointing!

4++ Farmers market that pops up in the Downtown Martinez area on Sundays I believe…read more While the market isn't huge, there's a really good selection of produce purveyors along with some eateries, some bakeries, and some general vendors. This farmers market as a small town charm to it and every person I interacted with was friendly. I was in the area because I crashed at a buddy's house the night before. When I was leaving the area, I saw this place and wanted to check it out. Keep in mind it was around the holidays and it was drizzling a bit that Sunday, so I'm not sure if it affected the amount of vendors present as this was my first time visiting. I ended up getting some enchiladas to go from one of the vendors selling Mexican food and a loaf of quinoa bread from one of the bakers (West Won Bread out of Napa). The food was good and the quinoa loaf was amazing and enjoyed by my parents and I later on when we served with some stew. Would love to re-visit with better weather conditions and different parts of the year. But definitely an enjoyable market based on my first visit.

Really nice group of vendors here. Lots of fresh veggies & fruit. Plenty of pastries too ;)…read moreAll the vendors were friendly & helpful. Super location with enough different items to serve everyone. I highly recommend coming here on Sunday mornings from 9-1. Don't forget to stop at at House of Petals the brick n mortar flower shop. Simply fabulous too!

You can't beat the fresh fruit, vegetables, and goodies along the water on first street. My personal favorites: mixed fresh berries. Fox and fawn bake house (best vegan cupcakes in town), Roti Pakistani Food - spinach Indian bread with chutney. They normally give out free samples which I appreciate. try before you buy! This time around, cousins Maine lobster truck was in town! I am a lobster roll girly as I live in San Diego. They offer a hot and cold lobster roll for $23 each. I would say it's worth it. There are large chunks of lobster in each roll, super fresh too. 10 out of 10 recommend this farmers market. It's family and dog friendly. Just get there early as parking fills up and summer nights get HOT

This one in downtown Benicia is very tiny. There's about 2 or 3 stands that sell fruit and vegetables. A couple of homemade dessert booths and the usual jewelry, popcorn, food booths. I would say it took me 15 minutes to visit everything including making purchases. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again. It's a nice area but not enough variety. Only street parking is available and it's very limited.

Like to get ripped off? Love wasting your money for…read morerelentless overpriced products? Most if not all no longer price labelled? Then go to El 2 de Oros! There it will be your chance to empty your wallet quickly with totally overpriced products! We where out of milk so I went to get a quart as we live around the corner on Alabama St. I gave the cashier a $5 bill but was stunned when I got only 49 cents back! $ 4.51 for a quart of milk???? WTF!? So for a gallon you "need to get a bank loan"? I asked and the cashier confirmed. I said NO! Not like that! I'm not paying artificially greedy inflated prices like that! We can do without. The buck stops here! The store manager had to be called as I wanted a refund. I told him that all grocery stores in the are, even overpriced Safeway charges far less for a quart; $ 1.98 and al their products are price labelled. He snapped back: "Then go buy it there!" Thanks! I will! I'm done with you! I know "El de 2 Oros "for over 15 years and it used to have price labels on products and fairly reasonable prices. Not anymore! Since the Covid hysteria --which they still practice by running around in masks-- They no longer label anything and their prices have gone through the roof. Carpe Diem, greed is good? Milk & bilk? I once got slapped with almost $ 30.- charge for a few apples and oranges! So a couple of years ago I suggested to the store manager to do at least a price range labeling as it would give buyers a fair chance and decision and not get sucker punched once the cashier rung all up and then having to wait for an refund/exchange process. Nah, to much work... I'm done with them! As a consumer, a client and I have the right to know the price of items before and not "after the fact" purchase!

I will definitely go back to try more of the marinated meats! The meat counter was fast
