This is a large Walmart conveniently located just off Hwy 80 in Dixon. Since I travel back and forth between Sacramento and Vacaville quite a bit, this a nice medium if I need to stop for an Item or Items for either snacks for gaming, or grocery items for my mother. Standard WalMart merchandise at their usually lower than grocery store prices. Store is Pretty clean, workers and clientele are friendly and getting in and out of the parking lot is easy. read more

Im not one to leave a review but my experience here was so s*** I can't not leave a review. My mom called customer support a couple days before I came in talking about returning a loft bed without the original packaging. They told her she didn't need the original packaging and when she started the return process it said ON THE APP that it didn't need to be repackaged. When I packed all the pieces in the car I realized I might need some boxes to help me bring them inside. When I brought them inside yes they weren't fully packaged because they weren't for them. But when the shift lead saw me she just told me "No we can't take that". And I was trying to explain the process and she just kept saying no. It got to a point where she just ignored me. I ended up calling customer support myself and they told me to just leave it there with her permission. But the same team lead said "no you're not returning that." SHOUT OUT SHIFT LEAD MARIE. You're genuinely s*** at your job. Because how is someone higher up than you tellin me the complete opposite of what you're telling me. You lazy f***. Shopped 4/8/22, 2pm. This review is for the women's bathroom. If I could give it no stars, I would. I can't believe how dirty all the stalls are! What kind of people kick trash bins to the floor, not flush the toilet and not pick up their soiled paper towels after it falls to the floor? These people must live in a pig's stye. The only decent toilet was the handicapped stall. The custodian on duty should frequently clean the restrooms at least every hour. I want to give a shout out to Aaron, my checker, today at the Dixon Walmart. What a breath of fresh air. Courteous, professional, focused on my transaction. He even took the heavy bags off of the carousel and put them in my cart for me. I wish all the checkers could be like him. A lot of the checkers seem so burned out and sad. No one answered in the auto department so I spoke to the operator who told me she had no idea how much it was and all she could do was transfer me back and when no one answered again she was like well idk. Not helpful at all. After trying once more on my own to call I reached someone in the department who was incredibly helpful and even helped to make me an appointment :) Update: changing to 2 stars because they didn't actually complete the job. This is an excellent store. Always immaculate. Well stocked. But the main reason I'm writing today is to say that I use their deli frequently. EACH......AND EVERY employee from the deli and the bakery are over the top! courteous, professional, knowledgeable, patient and friendly those folks ACES! Lots of stores have delis......and IF..IF...you can get someone to put some pre-cut turkey or ham and toss it on the counter to you, You are today's lucky winner. Visited the Dixon store for specific Christmas ornaments the app stated they had in stock. The day after Thanksgiving the shelves in the garden area were practically bare! There was no staff working in the area. I was told later that she went home at 1:00 pm. WHAT?! No relief? I did find someone outside the garden whose body language screamed I was interrupting her process of rehoming items (maybe customer returns). However her skill set using her handheld computer were lacking even though I had the exact item in my hand. It was just the wrong color. I told her the aisle the app said the item was on and finally she went to that location to get the exact sku. It told her there were 3 in the store. She pointed to a "seasonal" section (where I had already looked) and said, check there. I asked if Guest Services could call other stores identified by the app as having stock? She said yes and actually displayed a smile although I think she might have just been glad to get rid of me. Lol. Well Guest Services wasn't helpful either. She told me they no longer have the ability to call other stores but telephones sit on the counter. Oh well. Off I went... It was Black Friday and there were people in the store but it wasn't that busy. The store used to have nice selection and well stocked shelves. The staffing level sucked. There was hardly anyone visible to help customers or restock shelves. The store now just seems like a giant Dollar Store. Dollar Store staff are a lot friendlier and more helpful though. read more

The Automotive Department are CROOKS! I will push my pickup to another place before I will ever use Walmart Dixon again. I didn't want to use them this time. But it had been 14 years since they ripped me off before, so I mistakenly tried again. I needed tires for my trailer. Nobody had them in stock. The cheapest decent tires were on Amazon. But while checking at Walmart, the automotive guy said I could buy tires from Walmart.com and they'd mount them for free with proof of purchase from Walmart.com. They were a little more, but with free installation it was a better deal. Walmart.com jerked me around so bad I will never use them again. Then I take the tires to the Dixon Walmart and they say it will be $18 per tire to mount them. The sign on the wall says $10. And they said it was free before I ordered them. 14 years ago I took my car for an oil change. Then I went straight to a real auto shop to see about a modification. In looking things over to get me an estimate, they discovered my oil was black, and the filter was old and dirty. I hadn't driven 10 miles. They charged me for an oil change and didn't do it. You're better off switching to a horse and buggy than going to these THIEVES! This is fraud and against the law. I am filing a complaint with the CA BAR. read more

One of my favorite Walmarts to go to. I travel about 30 minutes just to go to Walmart in order to shop because the Walmarts around me I do not like they are always over packed and this one is never over packed. They recently took out their subway but then they added Jamba Juice (robotic , cool attraction) which is a plus because it's always hot out there. Customer service is great I have never witnessed one issue at this Walmart as opposed to other locations. They also have a lot of things that you should go on clearance because not too many people shop here. read more

I never seen a worst store than Walmart. They have help button and nobody responds. I was told the button doesn't work, but no sign to let customers know. You hear workers in the office chatting and laughing and you ask them for help; they simply say they can't help you and that they will call somebody else to help you and nobody comes or helps. This is about the Dixon Walmart Online Grocery for the most part. I placed an order as I've done 30-40 times at least. I was notified via the app & the website that my order was ready at 7 p.m. as I had scheduled it to be. We went to pick up the groceries. They said "We don't have any groceries for you. You're not in the system." They couldn't find me in their system? I could even show them the page I had seen on the Walmart website and on the app telling me my order was ready. They never apologized....nothing....just "you're not in the system." We drove from Davis to Dixon & left with nothing. I really can't stand this Walmart because of the employees who just don't care. I think Walmart does very little for their employees in the area of trainiing and customer service. I'm pretty sure there is a big lack of management.Same ole....same ole.....people working at a Walmart who could care less about the people. Two weeks ago we went to the grocery and were checking out. When the checker said "Oh I'm sorry. We don't have any bags." I SHOULD HAVE SAID "you mean none of the over 20 check out stands have any bags you could use?" But I didn't. She was hoping, obviously, we would say 'Oh no bags......well we're not going to get our groceries then."We simply said we'd take the groceries ourselves without the bags. She frowned when I said this. We'd spent an hour shopping. This girl didn't want anyone to come to check out 10 minutes before closing time. That's why she lied and said she had no bags. I KNOW she could have found 8-9 bags somewhere in that store. She just didn't want to. Yes I went to check out at 10:45 and yes they close at 11 p.m. But it doesn't matter. If you're open until 11 then be a fully functioning store until that time. People at this store obviously have very little leadership in the way of managers or they wouldn't be asking like this to customers. They do this because they think they can for some reason. This is one of the best Walmarts around. The only problems I've ever had there is that unless there is someone already there, it's really difficult to get service in the "Fabric" department. Otherwise, I've had a really good experience, here. It's clean and well stocked. The customer service desk is responsive and you can pay your PG&E bill here for free with your ATM card. (it instantly posts to your account and you get to save on stamps.) I do most of my grocery shopping here online on my home computer and do the free ($35 minimum) drive up / pick up. This has been a REAL LIFE SAVER. Download the Walmart ap on your phone and they will notify you when your order is ready. And when you arrive, you can let them know via the ap without having to call or get out of your car. Also, their shipping is very reliable and free for all greater than $35 purchases of Walmart fulfilled deliveries. If you shop in store, here, I also strongly recommend that you download the Walmart ap on your phone so you can easily determine if stuff is in stock, where in the store to locate it, and find it's price. There is an option on the ap to scan a product's barcode for a price check, (But, sometimes it doesn't do discounts so well). Also, you can online shop (for pickup or delivery) using the ap, as well. read more

At the Video Game section I wanted to buy EAFC 24 for the PS5. So I went to ask for the game and the guy there was actually pretty chill. So I bought the game and went home to play it and it was a pretty fun game. I would definitely recommend buying video games at Walmart. read more

Definitely won't be back while all this is ongoing. They're forcing everybody to use one door going in rather than having all doors open. This means more people in the one area clustered together. It had way too many people inside and the people in there were not keeping their distance. I personally had someone reach over me in an aisle to take stuff from in front of me. I witnessed many people standing around the fabric desk around an employee, she did nothing to ask them to step back or keep distance the queue went down the entire fabric aisle. You also shouldn't be allowing people to touch and feel fabrics for no reason. The employee alone should be lifting them down and handling. read more

I was beyond frustrated with my experience at my local walmart a few days ago. I am 25 and go inside the store with my 15 year old sister . It was a family members birthday so before I headed to the party I wanted to pick up a few things of alcohol. I made sure to carry all the alcohol myself, place it on the checkout station, and present my ID . My younger sibling was standing a few feet away near the return area they have. The woman checking me out asks after I present my ID if my younger sister has one as well. To which I respond she does not because she is 15 and isn't going to be drinking. She then tells me that she cannot sell me the alcohol because she is with me. She claims it is "policy" . I understand stores have policies but this one is absolutely absurd. I'm not going to leave my siblings in the car running or not for safety reasonings and due to the fact it's nearly 100 degrees outside. What are people supposed to do with their teenagers when they shop and happen to purchase alcohol? It just makes absolutely no sense. A few days later my dad goes into walmart with her to purchase beer and has my same sister with her, NO ISSUE. He was able to purchase the alcohol and go on his way. So now it's very clear that they are singling me out simply because I am younger with a younger sibling, assuming I am purchasing for her. Which makes me extremely irritated. If it's a so called policy, then enforce it on everyone. The woman working the services counter on 9/10/21 at 1:30pm was extremely rude and committed to not helping us. We had an issue with the Jamba Juice machine not completing our order inside this location and received a disinterested and rude response. Regardless of them having control over the machine, customer service is still expected. A more adequate response would include directing us to a person who can help us. These remarks are reserved for the Tire Center and not the Super Center Store itself. On 5/24/2013, I pulled into the tire center (Dixon Ca) in need of air in my tires. A lady (don't know her name) approached me, and I relayed the same info to her. She asked to see the inside of my drivers side door for the air requirements for the tires. I told her I would like 40lbs. She asked what the door panel stated and I replied 35lbs. I was then told that she would not be able to fill my tires with the requested 40lbs due to it not being the manufactures' standard. She also added that there were camera's. WHAT???!!! Since when do cameras ZOOM in on the tire pressure gauge?? Did she even bother checking the sidewall to see what the allowances were? NOPE!!! I WAS a customer since the store was originally built. Never had a problem with having my tires serviced with what I requested. Needless to say I smiled and politely thanked her for her time, and proceed to leave. Won't ever be back!! Side note. Took my vehicle the same day to Les Schwab, and they took care of me. Advised them they were NOW my go to shop. Do better Dixon Walmart Tire Center!!! read more

I am giving 5 stars for Carissa. I love the grocery pickup option. I use it frequently and it usually runs smooth. But recently when I picked up an order and got it home, a lot of things were missing. When I called in, 2 of the employees told me they would refund it to my payment method. That's ok but I still needed the stuff. Being a very busy person, I noticed more stuff missing. When I called back, Carissa answered. She not only found the other half of my order sitting there, but she personally pulled the other missing stuff. I was able to go pick up the rest of my order that night.
