Great food! Always fast service. Also, great price point. Tastier than Costco chicken. But one thing I would comment on is their sides portions. I would get inconsistent sizes one day I would get a decent amount of sides and sometimes I'm thrown off on how little their "small" sized sides are. I went to Chicken Express in Suisun city which I always do occasionally over many years and decided to order something different. The super chicken burrito which was horrible and they need to know it. there was a teaspoon of chicken and a spoon full of beans and a couple of cups of rice and sour cream little cheese, just horrible. If I wanted a meatless burrito I would have asked for it. it was extra sloppy and not worth the price tag for a rice burrito. I would hope that in the future when people ask for a super chicken burrito you give them CHIKIN. read more

I love this place for a quick lunch during the work week. I've never had to stand in line to order or wait for my food. The portions are large, the customer service is great, and the price point is reasonable. My go to is the taco salad. I like that it comes with a side of tortilla chips for dipping. I never knew about this location until now! The staff were so friendly and the service was quick. We got home and enjoyed the family meal. The chicken was juicy, hot and seasoned well. Service here is great, all the workers are super sweet. Heads up they don't give a tip option for card so bring cash if you want to leave one. I'm vegetarian and I always order the junior burrito w whole beans and w/o chicken and then I get green salsa and lemme tell you, it's delicious! Highly recommend. I like crunchy tacos to be crunchy. But here you will get soaked wet tacos with the shell falling apart on itself. Wish it was sauce making it wet but no its just water. I just wanted a couple chicken burritos. I could barely understand employee on the speaker. I get to the windows and this kid asks me if I want any sauce and I tell him, "yes please." I've been coming to this place for years for their tacos. I had a bit of an urge for a burrito for dinner, so I came here and ordered the chicken super burrito and got a horchata. I believe this place does a lot of take out and drive through because whenever I come there's normally never anyone ever in the store. The inside is super simple. The line to order and some tables. I can't even recall it there's pictures on the wall. Maybe if they changed that up a little bit to make it feel more inviting maybe more people would eat there? Anywho friendly staff and the food was great. Burrito was nice and heavy and tasted great. The horchata was my first time getting some from here and it was just right not too sweet as well. I really like this Chicken Express. The service can be slow, especially through the drive-thru. But the food is really good! I normally get the super chicken burrito or the ranch chicken sandwhich (ask for extra ranch on the side). Their red sauce is very good but spicy. Their green sauce is really great! Everything was nasty. Something in the food was either overcooked or watered down because it was the blandest food I've ever had from there. The bathroom was ABYSMAL I mean there was a huge patch of mold on the inside part of the door & no paper towels or hand dryer. There was so much wrong in there honestly. All of the surfaces in the building were SICK. My family didn't even finish our food because of how overwhelming our collective disgust was. Kinda hard to find a vegan place to eat at lunch time, my coworker really wanted chicken and like always I was stuck with the dilemma on what to eat. I stopped in for his order and asked if they had a veggie options and the guys stated no not on the menu. Then the guy at the counter surprised me and said we can still make you something. I love the crunchy chicken tacos. I fell in love with them back in 2011. The deal was that Del Taco was moving in across the street where the old Carl's Jr. was. So chicken express dropped their taco prices so cheap that I had to try them. They were wonderful. So much so that even though the price has tripled since 2011 that I still get them. For lunch, the guys all wanted something cheap and tasty. One of them mentioned chicken express. We were all willing to try something new and agreed this was our best option. At work we usually have a menu for all the eateries around the base. We didn't have one for chicken express but luckily they have a menu online. The menu had very limited selection but all looked yummy. All ten of us wrote our order down. Three of us had to go order and pickup the food. We got there and placed our requests. The service was not bad, took only 10 minutes to get our order to us. It was about 70 dollars worth of food so you can only imagine how gigantic our was. So the service was quick. Here's the draw down, for the combo meals you get a soda with it. Now you are expecting a regular size drink...nope, it's a small size. Three gulps and you are done. The girl also filled up our drinks with more than half ice making it even more tiny. So there was 8 drinks and that's how they handed it to us. I asked for cup trays and they said the ran out. Really?! At 3pm!? I ran next door to popeyes and they gave Me a few trays. The chicken is bombdiggity. You can't really mess up rotisserie chicken. It comes out so juicy and moist. They did something write here. Also for 49 cents on chicken tacos, you can't go wrong. Those were delicious as well I will follow up again and update next time we come here again. read more

When I think back to living in Suisun, I truly miss this place (and it's drive-thru). Those nights after work where I could not find the energy to cook, Chicken Express was the place to go. It's "fast food" that doesn't taste like fast food at all. The chicken always tastes fresh and juicy, and the rice & mashed potatoes & gravy are sooo satisfying. I tried this place for the very first time the other day. I ordered their super burrito meal, or what ever its called. The first thing I noticed with the meal deal is that they give you a tiny soda to go along with a big burrito. The burrito itself is decent, you definitely get what you pay for (in regards for the amount of food you get), but I wasn't too impressed. 5/9/20... COVID-19 Pandemic....... Went through the drive thru & cashier at the drive up window wasn't wearing a mask. I asked about it. She said she forgot to put it on & asked if I wanted her to wear it. Then this big, burly man comes to the window in an aggressive manner asking what the problem was. I said no problem I'm just asking about her not wearing a mask. He says there is no law saying they have to wear masks so they aren't going to. Just moved back to Suisun City this week. This place was on my list of what I am going to do first. I love their chicken, rice and beans meals. The taco salad is a plus but has very little salad to it. The cheap tacos look and taste like expensive tacos because they dont hold back the portions at all. Taco Bell needs a tip from Chicken Express on what taco portions should look like. My favorite thing there is the hot salsa....when comsumed with the chicken it is PURE HEAVEN. STAFF IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY.....Chicken Express is my favorite secret resturant in the area when having a quick party for football or a boxing event and not wanting to cook. I have been hearing about Chicken Express forever from my Vallejo friends. Lo and behold we move out here and I go to try it for the first time and am quite impressed by how yummy and delicious the tacos are. This place is nice and the people that work there are nice. I came in a few times with my daughter when she was still only a year old and I had to carry her. We would dine in and they would help me bring my tray to my table and also help me with the salsa. Completely appreciate that they were very helpful and willing to help me. We always get the tacos and the whole chicken meal. The chicken is delicious and very moist. The chicken also has this seasoning on it that is like nothing else i've had. Also unfortunately their Wednesday deal is gone, $0.49 for tacos, but they have made the tacos without sour cream at $0.69 each every day, still a good deal. Will frequent here again. read more
