Horrible food. It was cold. Tasted horrible. Really disappointing. Ice tea was also awful.

I had it with rice and I love that it came with a vinegary sauce. I'd love to pack fresh herbs and maybe some pickled vegs with me next time. Also tried their version of chorizo and it's slightly sweeter than the other version I've tried. Still really good and got some warm spices to it. I'd probably order it again but that pork is the main star. Ambiance is ok, not much to it but the service was very warm and friendly and welcoming.

The skin had that perfect crisp and crackle, and the meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Easily one of the best pork experiences you'll find anywhere. But what really makes this place special is the people behind it. Tita Marilyn has built something real here--you can feel the culture, the pride, and the consistency the moment you walk in. Heidi was on the chopping block today and absolutely dialed in--fast, precise, and on point. Reyna was as welcoming as ever and made the whole experience feel like family. That's what separates this place. It's not just great food--it's hospitality, tradition, and heart all in one. If you're looking for authentic Cebu lechon done right, this is the spot. No questio

The only downside is that the prices are on the higher side compared to similar places. We ordered the meal plate w/ 2 entrees: half Garlic Rice (best to go in the AM before they run out) / half Pansit, and a double order of the Lechon (Roast Pork) Sisig. Bam! Way better than Panda Express lol...they even include a free soda! Service can be a little slow, but we noticed that's only because they take the time to pack things carefully to prevent spills. That is attention to detail that I can appreciate. Some advice - going at lunchtime will be very busy, so either give yourself extra time (or patience), or try going in the morning when all the food is freshly available. Enjoy!

I wanted to share a disappointing experience I had during my recent visit to your restaurant…read more The cashier was warm, friendly, and engaging with the customers before me, but when it was my turn, her demeanor completely changed. I asked if I could have an extra to-go bowl, and she simply replied, "No, we don't do that." While that wasn't the answer I was hoping for, I accepted it without issue. What bothered me was what happened next. When I asked for utensils, instead of handing them to me, she placed them on the counter for me to pick up, doing so with a dismissive attitude. She then proceeded to speak in Tagalog in a way that made me feel she assumed I couldn't understand her. It came across as rude, disrespectful, and hurtful. My family owns the childcare center directly behind your restaurant, and we have supported your business for a long time. We are also actively involved in the local community and workj closely with the City and the Mayor's office through our childcare programs. It was especially disappointing to feel as though I was treated differently because she assumed I wasn't Filipino. Everyone deserves to be treated with the same level of courtesy and respect, regardless of their appearance or background. Unfortunately, this experience has cost your restaurant a loyal customer. I will also be sharing my experience with my professional and community network, as I believe businesses should be held to a consistent standard of customer service. I hope you take this feedback seriously so that no one else has a similar experience.

The restaurant is incredibly clean--seriously, clean, clean, clean--and the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. The servers are attentive, very nice, and friendly, which makes the experience even better. Seating is somewhat limited, but they do a great job accommodating everyone. I also noticed a lot of customers coming in for pick-up orders, which says a lot about how popular this place is. The food is absolutely delicious, and the portions are generous--you definitely get plenty for your order. They specialize in dim sum and are especially known for their soup dumplings (xiao long bao), including the popular Crab & Pork Xiao Long Bao. Other favorites include their pan-fried buns, BBQ pork buns, beef rolls, wontons in chili oil, and noodle dishes. Everything is flavorful and satisfying. The location is also super convenient--right across from HomeGoods. If you find yourself hungry after a hectic shopping trip (like I was!), BaoBao is definitely the place to go. Great food, friendly service, and a clean, welcoming environment make it a spot worth visiting. Doris S.
