My family and I stoped here on our way home from the Bay Area. They weren't too busy for a Sunday afternoon so we were able to find a spot to sit for the 6 of us. The food was amazing and were very large portions for the price I give this review only 4 stars because it was very warm inside the restaurant which made it uncomfortable to sit and eat. Hopefully that was a fluke and it isn't normally that hot inside. I will certainly order there again if we are in the area but if it's hot inside I'll have to take it to go.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town. Grew up on this place so it's definitely my comfort food. The owners are great and the prices are reasonable. Could use some renovating tho but overall a great place.

Friendly quick and delicious food. One of my go to places!! Been a staple of Vacaville for many many years.

Food was good and the service was even better. Tacos were better than most I've had throughout Fairfield and Vacaville area.

The food was equally great! I had a chicken enchilada and tamale. They were out of pork tamales. The tamale masa was thin, flaky, and delicious! The tortilla on the enchilada was soft as well. The refried beans and rice were good. The food arrived hot which was much appreciated. Opted for the hot salsa and mixed it with the milder salsa for a wonderful result. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

We walked up and down Main Street to see our options... several dive bars, a wine bistro, an Italian spot, Chinese food.. but we were drawn to Los Reyes for 3 main reasons. 1.) The fantastic patio space to enjoy the weather 2.) Mexican food is a safer bet than most when you have to order gluten free! And 3.) Great prices even outside of Happy Hour -- which fortunately for us, we were just in time for. There's lots of seating inside and out, plus a decent sized bar, so more real-estate than a lot of the other nearby restaurants. Good for a group! A lot of people fit in here but it doesn't feel too squished, you have room. The menu is pretty big and the prices are really great. And I loved the chips and salsa that arrive once you sit down. You get 4 salsas!! I ordered the shrimp tostadas on a whim, felt nervous about making the wrong choice, but ended up loving them. I barely had leftovers! The shrimp were perfectly cooked with a slight smoky char and lots of citrus, and the pickled cabbage and green sauce were both super fresh and different and delicious. With a little sour cream on the side, these tostadas felt indulgent and light at the same time. Our hostess, waitress, and bartender were all super kind and relaxed, despite how busy they were. The staff seems pretty small compared to the amount of people in here, but they handle it well. We had to wait a good 10 minutes to order once we were sat, but once we did, our food and drinks came out quickly. Hot and fresh and colorful and so good!

On my way out the door I paused, (my stomach made me do it) asked…read moremy host if the Mexican spot across the street was any good, and waited to hear his reply: "nah, not really. If you want good Mexican you gotta hit Jalisco". Say less. "Oh, and get their green salsa." Ok, you said a little more but we'll get back to that. I headed out the door and started driving. Soon I realized I didn't actually know where I was going (not unusual for me) and called the host. All sorted out I not only found Tacos Jalisco but got the (green) spot right in front. Valet parking would have been less convenient. Things were looking up. I went full gringo and bought a super burrito. Was it OK? No. Was it good? No. Was it great? Getting there. Was it superb? Warmer. Was it T R A N S C E N D E N T? YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was the sauce good? Ok, let's not do this again. Yes! The sauce was HELLA GOOD! How good? Let's just say they sell it by the bottle FOR A REASON, primo. For a reason. Did I buy a bottle? Uh, do people come from out of state to buy bottles to freeze? Uh, yes. So yeah, you best believe I copped a bottle. Call the burrito Davíd Blaine because that lil hommie disappeared real quick. (I got the al pastor which was perfect btw. ) The ambiance? I don't know. Do you remember the color of the carpet when you were at the California Lottery's finance office to pick up your Powerball winnings (you picked lump sum)? Then you know what I'm talking about. A lot of tops. Place was clean. Menu's were easy to read. The very nice lady working the register was hella cool and even offered up suggestions when I was vacillating. Lots of dudes in the kitchen so my to-go came out real quick. (Lots of cooks to me means they're doing a brisk business. Which means fresher food. Faster service. Etc. You know the ------ vibes! So all I have now is this bottle of green salsa and the knowledge that refills are only $5.00. For life. Yes they make it fresh every damn day. Stop playing. Maybe I'll see you at Tacos Jalisco when I'm filling up my bottle.

I thoroughly enjoyed eating at Tacos Jalisco in Vallejo, so I was curious if they were the same (at least the food anyway). Although I do appreciate being able to order a wet regular burrito, topped with shredded cheese, I feel like the meat (I ordered carne asada) wasn't really flavorful. My husband ordered a regular chicken burrito and stated that the burrito included very little chicken but a bunch of beans. Overall, our meal was OK. It filled the belly, but we didn't enjoy our food too much. 3 out of 5 stars.

Walking in, I was immediately greeted with smiling and welcoming vibes from the ladies at the front and told to take a seat wherever I'd like to sit. The hit for me is that MENUDO is available on a non-weekend! I've been craving it and when I ordered it (on a Tuesday), I hoped it would be fresh and it was! The broth was savory and flavorful as is but with the added oregano, dried peppers, onions, and cilantro to my liking- it just made it even better! The best part was that you can either order it with pata or no pata. Shoooot, you don't have to ask me twice! I said I want the pata hahahaha that with tender and not overcooked tripe was just what I was wanting! If you love menudo, this is a place I'd recommend and go to get it regularly. The MICHELADA MARISCADA is tasty! It's a mixture of seafood in a sweet and tangy sauce. For those who do not like spice, this is a great option. I was with someone who doesn't like spicy food and isn't a big fan of Mexican food but MAN! she killed the entire plate! So now we have a place that we both can really enjoy together. Will be back!!

The chicken quesadilla really set it off for me as well. It was flavorful, nice portion size and I enjoyed the dip that came with it also. The Lows: The food was kinda expensive. It was about $60 for a to go order of 6 tacos and a quesadilla and a drink. While the food was good, not sure if the price was worth it considering all of the other Mexican food options nearby. Also, the tacos didn't come with any sides (rice, beans, etc.) which was unfortunate for the price. The In-Between: We found this place on Instagram based on a video review someone did. The parking was a little tough. The service was cool for our to go order.
