    Hand painted. Very cool!!!

I LOVE this place!!! They make the very best nachos!!! The chips are made daily. They are really good! Not oily and they have that perfect crunch! Yum!!! I've tried other stuff on their menu, but the nachos are the best by far. At least in my opinion. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are huge! Great customer service. Plus, the decorations are crazy cool on the inside! Definitely worth checking out! There's a decent amount of seating on the inside and a ton of seating outside.

I really want to like the food here...We ordered food to go - chicken enchiladas, rice and beans. What we received was more like enchiladas with salad. The portions of rice and beans could have been better as well. The guy working the register seemed friendly enough, and he even explained the salad on top of the enchiladas as something he was personally used to growing up. I guess my poker face wasn't working too well when he opened the container to show me the food. Lol. He was working the front alone and seemed stretched a bit thin with all the multitasking. Overall it's not the worst but there is definitely room for improvement.

Absolutely love this restaurant, the food the aesthetic and the service are top notch! I've visited here numerous times and felt this last visit was time to review. Quality! Delicious chicken and cheese enchiladas with fresh beans and rice. Reasonable portions. Not too big, not too small! Excellent service and orders are made to order. The pork burrito was flavorful and the kids fajitas were perfect for the littles.

This place is SO yummy. I love Mexican food and this place hit the spot. It's a cute restaurant in the nut tree plaza close to other shops. It has indoor and outdoor seating. We came here on a weekday evening and staff is super friendly and welcoming. Food came out fast and was nice and hot. Chips and salsa were unlimited and so good we took some home. The inside is a bit small and the bathrooms are single stall but other than that I have no complaints. We had a good experience and will definitely be back

The cashier/waitress was a caring person. I enjoyed the music in the restaurant. The food on the other hand was average for me. I got a burrito with shredded chicken in it.

The nachos are as good as ever. They did not skimp out on the any of the toppings including the carne asada. We were able to get our order quick and easy. My puppy and I sat outside and the server brought out some water for him which I appreciated.

Friendly service and yummy food! The restaurant has a nice aesthetic and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. I was in the mood for Birria and was so happy to find it on their menu. The staff are attentive and food was fresh and came out quickly! Loved the salsa and homemade tortillas as well!

Great food and amazing staff! I walked in with my newborn and ordered food to go and Pancho helped me walk the food out to my car.

The food was equally great! I had a chicken enchilada and tamale. They were out of pork tamales. The tamale masa was thin, flaky, and delicious! The tortilla on the enchilada was soft as well. The refried beans and rice were good. The food arrived hot which was much appreciated. Opted for the hot salsa and mixed it with the milder salsa for a wonderful result. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

We walked up and down Main Street to see our options... several dive bars, a wine bistro, an Italian spot, Chinese food.. but we were drawn to Los Reyes for 3 main reasons. 1.) The fantastic patio space to enjoy the weather 2.) Mexican food is a safer bet than most when you have to order gluten free! And 3.) Great prices even outside of Happy Hour -- which fortunately for us, we were just in time for. There's lots of seating inside and out, plus a decent sized bar, so more real-estate than a lot of the other nearby restaurants. Good for a group! A lot of people fit in here but it doesn't feel too squished, you have room. The menu is pretty big and the prices are really great. And I loved the chips and salsa that arrive once you sit down. You get 4 salsas!! I ordered the shrimp tostadas on a whim, felt nervous about making the wrong choice, but ended up loving them. I barely had leftovers! The shrimp were perfectly cooked with a slight smoky char and lots of citrus, and the pickled cabbage and green sauce were both super fresh and different and delicious. With a little sour cream on the side, these tostadas felt indulgent and light at the same time. Our hostess, waitress, and bartender were all super kind and relaxed, despite how busy they were. The staff seems pretty small compared to the amount of people in here, but they handle it well. We had to wait a good 10 minutes to order once we were sat, but once we did, our food and drinks came out quickly. Hot and fresh and colorful and so good!

If you want good Mexican you gotta hit Jalisco". Say less. "Oh, and get their green salsa." Ok, you said a little more but we'll get back to that. I headed out the door and started driving. Soon I realized I didn't actually know where I was going (not unusual for me) and called the host. All sorted out I not only found Tacos Jalisco but got the (green) spot right in front. Valet parking would have been less convenient. Things were looking up. I went full gringo and bought a super burrito. Was it OK? No. Was it good? No. Was it great? Getting there. Was it superb? Warmer. Was it T R A N S C E N D E N T? YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was the sauce good? Ok, let's not do this again. Yes! The sauce was HELLA GOOD! How good? Let's just say they sell it by the bottle FOR A REASON, primo. For a reason. Did I buy a bottle? Uh, do people come from out of state to buy bottles to freeze? Uh, yes. So yeah, you best believe I copped a bottle. Call the burrito Davíd Blaine because that lil hommie disappeared real quick. (I got the al pastor which was perfect btw. ) The ambiance? I don't know. Do you remember the color of the carpet when you were at the California Lottery's finance office to pick up your Powerball winnings (you picked lump sum)? Then you know what I'm talking about. A lot of tops. Place was clean. Menu's were easy to read. The very nice lady working the register was hella cool and even offered up suggestions when I was vacillating. Lots of dudes in the kitchen so my to-go came out real quick. (Lots of cooks to me means they're doing a brisk business. Which means fresher food. Faster service. Etc. You know the ------ vibes! So all I have now is this bottle of green salsa and the knowledge that refills are only $5.00. For life. Yes they make it fresh every damn day. Stop playing. Maybe I'll see you at Tacos Jalisco when I'm filling up my bottle.

I thoroughly enjoyed eating at Tacos Jalisco in Vallejo, so I was curious if they were the same (at least the food anyway). Although I do appreciate being able to order a wet regular burrito, topped with shredded cheese, I feel like the meat (I ordered carne asada) wasn't really flavorful. My husband ordered a regular chicken burrito and stated that the burrito included very little chicken but a bunch of beans. Overall, our meal was OK. It filled the belly, but we didn't enjoy our food too much. 3 out of 5 stars.

The hit for me is that MENUDO is available on a non-weekend! I've been craving it and when I ordered it (on a Tuesday), I hoped it would be fresh and it was! The broth was savory and flavorful as is but with the added oregano, dried peppers, onions, and cilantro to my liking- it just made it even better! The best part was that you can either order it with pata or no pata. Shoooot, you don't have to ask me twice! I said I want the pata hahahaha that with tender and not overcooked tripe was just what I was wanting! If you love menudo, this is a place I'd recommend and go to get it regularly. The MICHELADA MARISCADA is tasty! It's a mixture of seafood in a sweet and tangy sauce. For those who do not like spice, this is a great option. I was with someone who doesn't like spicy food and isn't a big fan of Mexican food but MAN! she killed the entire plate! So now we have a place that we both can really enjoy together. Will be back!!

Also, the tacos didn't come with any sides (rice, beans, etc.) which was unfortunate for the price. The In-Between: We found this place on Instagram based on a video review someone did.
