The store has a large selection of various food goods, ranging from a massive selection of ramen/noodles, various kitchen ingredients to fresh banchans(kimchi, fish cakes, and bean sprouts, ect). She also told us that she makes the banchan & kimpop(so popular that it was sold out before we got here) herself! This is amazing discovery because the closes Korean market that sells kimpop is over the bridge in Concord area. Having a place closer & not having to cross the bridge is amazing. I'll definitely will let my friend know about this place from how amazing the hospitality & food is here! Anyway, yes this mart is ***fantastic*** if you're looking for hard-to-find Asian food goodies. This mart advertises the ability of customers to request specific items to be sold here, and the owners evidently are receptive to such requests (I mean, there's a freezer corner just dedicated to fruit-shaped ice cream lol). Also, I appreciate that interior-wise it's just an old-school bodega-style mart lol nothing overly trendy like j-pop/k-pop blaring in the store. Good shopping experience for me. :p No fuss with lot parking at all when I visited on an early afternoon Sunday.

The store itself is really cool, but the customer service is seriously lacking. I've visited 4…read moretimes now, and every single experience has involved poor customer service -- even after spending over $500 in the store. Most recently, we had a 10% off coupon that stated in large writing it expired in 7 days, only to be told there was a different expiration date hidden in much smaller print. We were only a few hours past the cutoff, and instead of offering any understanding or trying to help, the staff argued about it. Most companies with decent customer service would honor something like that. As someone with 15+ years in customer service, it's disappointing to see an establishment with so much potential fall so short in this area. The staff comes across as cold, monotone, and uninterested in helping customers. To make matters worse, there seems to be little to no manager or lead support available to assist with bigger issues. Unfortunately, the customer service here has been a zero every time I've visited.

My cousin and I spent a good 40 minutes perusing before we made final selections to take home. We love grocery shopping, especially at specialty markets. So this was right up our alley. I ended up grabbing beef salad, pad Thai, and a mixed jelly dessert, along with chips that looked like bugles to try. My cousin grabbed a few grab and go items as well, plus some fresh peppers to take home. The lady working the cash register was super nice! Just a heads up that they do take card, but I think the minimum spend is $10 or something like that (I could be wrong lol). Loved this small Thai market. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a special ingredient, fresh produce, or some food that feels like your auntie cooked it!

I am writing to share my disappointment with my recent experience at this restaurant…read more The main issue was that the food quality and serving were not consistent. Some dishes were prepared well, while others were not up to the same standard, which made the experience very unreliable. As a customer, I expect consistency in both taste and presentation. I also noticed staff using their phones while working, which affected the level of attention and service. When I brought my concerns to a staff member named Sherly, I felt that my complaint was not taken seriously and that there was a lack of care in addressing the situation. Overall, the service did not meet expectations, and the issue was not handled professionally. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves consistency, staff attentiveness, and customer service. At this time, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience.
