They always have a great selection of fresh, beautiful bouquets at good prices. My girl hurt her hand and was having a rough day, so I stopped by to pick up some flowers in hopes of putting a smile on her face for when I see her. While I was there, I also grabbed a few breakfast items for myself. Like always, the store was busy but even when it's packed, the checkout lines move surprisingly fast, making it easy to get in and out without spending a lot of time waiting. The customer service was excellent as well. The cashier was friendly, and after seeing the items I was buying, they knew exactly what I was planning to make for breakfast, which made for a fun little conversation. Overall, this was another quick and easy Trader Joe's trip. Great flowers, friendly employees, fast checkout. If you're looking for fresh flowers to brighten someone's day or just need to grab a few groceries, this location is always a solid choice.

Anyway, yes this mart is ***fantastic*** if you're looking for hard-to-find Asian food goodies. This mart advertises the ability of customers to request specific items to be sold here, and the owners evidently are receptive to such requests (I mean, there's a freezer corner just dedicated to fruit-shaped ice cream lol). Also, I appreciate that interior-wise it's just an old-school bodega-style mart lol nothing overly trendy like j-pop/k-pop blaring in the store. Most recently, we had a 10% off coupon that stated in large writing it expired in 7 days, only to be told there was a different expiration date hidden in much smaller print. We were only a few hours past the cutoff, and instead of offering any understanding or trying to help, the staff argued about it. Most companies with decent customer service would honor something like that. As someone with 15+ years in customer service, it's disappointing to see an establishment with so much potential fall so short in this area. The staff comes across as cold, monotone, and uninterested in helping customers. To make matters worse, there seems to be little to no manager or lead support available to assist with bigger issues. Unfortunately, the customer service here has been a zero every time I've visited.

Aside from the self-checkout lanes, they usually only have one or two cashiers working -- even during the busiest times of day. And it does get super busy once school and work let out, especially since this is basically the only grocery store in the Cordelia/Green Valley area (unless you count Costco). They keep building more and more housing around here, but the staffing never seems to increase. My advice: shop during off-hours. Early morning or late at night is your best bet. Or just do what I do and order through the app. The Drive Up & Go service has always been convenient for me. The only downside is the people who park in the designated pickup spots even when they're not picking up an order. There are tons of regular parking spots, so why they do this is beyond me. My other gripe: they are always out of Cherry Dr Pepper and Blackberry Dr Pepper. They only ever seem to stock a few cases at a time, and of course they sell out immediately. Clearly they're popular -- just order more! Overall, it's an okay store with good staff but some frustrating operational issues.

Amar Grocery has the best selection of Indian groceries, spices, fresh Vegetables, including Organic pulses, spices. The owner is very friendly, courteous and helpful. On my recent visit he introduced me to the complete line of Swami Ramadev's Patanjali line of products of cosmetics, Ayurvedic herbal medicines, Health and Beauty products, foods and tonics, pure honey and Ghee made from Cow's milk. I use to get these products from India. I am so happy to ind them here in Fairfield. I would very highly recommend this store for everyone who wants to get Indian groceries, spices and many product hard to find here in America. The prices are most reasonable and the selection is complete. You will find products, snacks, frozen dishes, vegetables, prepared Indian breads such as Naans, Parathas, savory dishes and Indian sweets. Give it a try you will be very satisfied. read more

Within the past few years, I have been introduced to Indian food and I love it! I have a coworker whose lunch always smells so good, so he looked up this store for me so I could try and make his wife recipes at home.... and I am glad he did. This place is amazing and the prices can't be beat for the quantity you receive. This is my second time coming to this store and I will become a regular. On this visit, I came to see if they had Neem Oil and Neem Leaves! And they did!!!!! If you don't know the benefits of Indian Neem Oil, you better jump to it and do your research on Google and Youtube. This place has been in Fairfield for 18 years and I have lived in Fairfield for 48. What a shame to just now find this wonderful treasure box filled with valuable jewels right in my own back yard!!!! Well ....better late than never! read more
