After shopping here for groceries we came here to share a Halo Halo. It's perfect on a hot day. They have other drinks to offer and it's conveniently located in Seafood City.
I gave a 1 star because the halo halo was good. The place was inside seafood city (where all the goodies are!) but it was in a sketchy area but gave it a try anyways. The service was horrible and there were 3 guys working but didn't even wanna hand a togo order to people that were standing there since before we walked in it still took a minute for them to get help! We waited forever for someone to take our order as well. They also dropped a strainer behind a counter and picked it up and rinsed it..not washed...rinsed and continued to scoop the caramel out for my daughter's drink. It was pretty gross and felt like a waste of money. We didn't even finish the tea and the pop-tart was dry. Not to mention the bathrooms were gross and had pee all over the floor...We will skip this place next time.
Come here on Sunday afternoon 5:00pm. I hope you come with someone or by yourself that's OK too. Order the Halo Halo. Then head to the table area. It's often empty about this time and can be kind of lonely. As that feeling comes creeping in, start eating this Halo Halo. There something special about Halo Halo. Filipinos are a happy group of folks and you can feel a part of that joy in this weird concoction of a hundred ingredients. Enjoy your Halo Halo, it feels good, you'll start to recall something recent that made you smile or laugh, or a loving moment with your Mom that made you tear because you miss her. Not the best in the Bay/ Area but it was ok. Feel a bit deceived from all the outstanding 5 star reviews.. The shopping center it's located in is a bit sketch and not super populated and that should've been our first sign to turn back around. The ingredients are very mainstream. Nothing that should grant paying over 10$ for this.. stale corn flakes and super dense dry flan. Could also tell the ice cream scoop on top was wholesale clear bucket you can find at any discount store. I feel better knowing my money went to a kind gentleman with good service but his prices aren't up to par with the ingredients and there should be more realistic reviews. Give it a 3/10. Should have only paid about 6-8$ for it.. not 10-11$.
First time trying this place & we got their ube halo halo. The halo halo was really good, but I wish they would've added more of the original halo halo ingredients. This place is located inside Island Pacific. Overall, good dessert place to for on the go unless you'd enjoy eating inside the market.
Friendly dessert run! Cafe 86 is located inside seafood city market as a large stand in the lobby, and it offers a ton of fruit teas, milk teas, blended lattes, and desserts! The barista was exceptionally sweet and kind, giving us time to look at the menu and giving us his recommendations!
Service here was fast and friendly. When I approached the counter, I was greeted with a smile and told that it would be a few minutes before someone could take my order. I didn't mind as I wanted to check out the menu. I decided on the House Milk tea and the Rose Green Tea with boba at 100% sweetness. The boba was perfectly squishy while not being overly sweet. Both drinks were pleasant, but I preferred the Rose Green tea because the flavor was subtle and refreshing. There are many boba places in the city, but I chose this place because it's no nonsense and not a chain. Plus the drinks taste like they actually have tea in them and the flavor isn't muted like drinks from Quickly. It was nice that this location is in Seafood City because I was able to sip while I shopping. I would definitely come here again if I was in the area.
Located inside of Seafood City. I usually order their halo halo and their Ube crack cheesecakes. Everything that we've ordered was so good. Staff are friendly and the times we've ordered waiting to pick it up didn't take that long. I find myself frequenting this place during the summer season because of their halo halo. It is not your boring halo halo...their halo halo is so rich and packed with all toppings and having the Ube Ice cream and flan just rounds out the goodness especially during the hot summer months.
Went specifically to try all the different Ube creations. The monster milkshake was very good because it has the magnolia ice cream as the base and I love magnolia ube ice cream. Add some Oreos with it and you have a winner. For the desserts, I did feel some of them were lacking in ube flavor. The poptart, bar, and brownie had some flavor but to me could've been sweeter and richer. The cupcake however was full of flavor and sweetness. That was definitely the best out of the bunch. Overall, this place is a 4/5. It's nice to see the different Ube creations, but I guess with quantity comes the quality.
Perfect Ube taste on your first bite, not too sweet. The added Oreo cookie crumbs will n the top and bottom makes it even more yummier. Perfect on a hot day like today. Very friendly staff, great service.
Been here 5 times now they never fail!! I always got Halo, next time I'm going to try the mango peach Tea I heard that was really good!! Their ube Cakes or leches are always good to get to snack on. Whenever I go there we're always greeted with a great smile and ready to get our orders!! Love the way it shows all what they have and promoting on the way with banners!
Wow!! I am always looking for a great halo halo place. I think I have found one of the best that I've had in the Bay Area!! Ube ice cream on top was amazing!! Great serving! I couldn't even finish it myself as much as I love my halo halo!! Service was great, smiles and offering excellent advice on what to order and can change it up to make it perfect for me. Inside Seafood city behind Grill City. Perfect location, plenty of seating. I'm definitely coming back for more!
Service is excellent; staff is always cheerful. The drink level of sweetness is just right, I ordered the milk tea. It is very affordable.

Inside the Seafood City shopping center, this place is a solid dessert and drink place! Staff is friendly, lots of options, and ube galore! There's a grocery store and Turo-Turo (point to what food you want) on the opposite side. There's tables nearby for you to sit and eat as well. The kiosk is well decorated and proudly displays their offerings. I always get the cookie butter milkshake, and when I'm hungry, any of the ube pastries. Any choice is solid honestly. One of the better places to go for a sweet treat in Vallejo! read more
Located inside Seafood City. Went on a Sunday afternoon and not too busy inside. It's a decent area and they have seating right in front of where they make drinks. Was craving for a sweet treat after lunch and halo halo was the way to go! Both upside down and regular are so good. If you notice, they just flip the flavors with the ice cream on top and the blended smoothie to make it upside down. Can't go wrong with either one imo. The Milo cupcake was ok, couldn't really taste the Milo. Employees were quick and friendly. I would come back and try their other flavors! read more
Hubby and I came here on a whim to the halo halo. I was told it was really good and the recommendation was well received. Place is located inside of Seafood City behind Red Ribbon. The cashier was nice and friendly and we were able to see a picture right in the counter of what we wanted. We order a ube halo halo to share. Located inside Seafood City directly behind the Grill City area. Even though it was cold and rainy I wanted to try their halo halo. They were out of flan so give me a 10% discount. $9 for a large halo halo is a pretty good deal. Halo halo was tasty as it should be and thankfully not too sweet. I also got an ube butter bar which I inhaled and forgot to take a picture. Place is clean and service was fast. A great place to have a treat after shopping. read more

Can't believe we have a Cafe 86 in Vallejo! Used to only be able get this when we were down in San Diego. So happy to have them here! They're located inside of Seafood City and operate on the opposite side of Grill City. Tons of different drink options on the menu, including a bunch of ube flavored ones, plus ube flavored baked goods that you can find in a mini display case on their counter. Although our purchase wasn't ube forward at all, we still got some really yummy things to try! Calamansi juice (5/5) - perfect beverage, especially during hot weather months! Wasn't too sweet, which I loved! Literally tasted like childhood. Exactly how I would make it at home. Sea Salt Coffee (4/5) - my husband is a literal fiend for a sea salt coffee, and this one was good!! Turon Pop Tart (4.5/5) - oh my GOODNESS. If you try any of their baked goods, this is a MUST. Their service was great. The employee who rung us up was super sweet and answered all of our questions. And our drinks came out super fast, maybe within 5-6 minutes of us ordering. Great experience, and can't wait to come back soon! read more

One of my favorite places in Vallejo to grab a sweet treat. The Ube truffle is a must try! Every time I go I must get it. The other pastry's are also tasty and pair great with their drink options. The drinks are very refreshing. I recommend the strawberry calamansi cooler or the Hibiscus calamansi. Staff is very friendly as well and always willing to give you recommendations. Suitable for a treat after shopping inside of seafood city. read more
If you like ube you'll love Cafe 86! It is located inside the Seafood City building. Right in the center outside of the grocery store. It's great for a treat after the gym (around the corner from Planet Fitness.) We ordered the upside down halo halo, ube monster, ube cheesecake, ube pop tart and the turn pop tart. I really enjoyed the upside down halo halo. It's everything I like about halo halo but with more ube! The ube monster is cookies and cream and ube. But it isn't overwhelmingly sweet either. The ube cheesecake didn't have a very heavy ube flavor but it did have that bold blue-purple color. The poptarts were also good. No cash payment. Card only. We went in about 15 minutes before closing but none of the items we wanted were sold out or limited. Very fast service. I was told by a friend that this is a chain. Very happy to have them in Vallejo. We will definitely be back! read more

Went to seafood city and wanted to try out this place! They had a milo milk tea and I love milo so I ordered that! I wasn't expecting a cheese cap, and I could do without it, but the drink was still good and tasted like milo. Service was fast and friendly. It looks like they have a good selection of flavors, but im not much of a ube or halo halo person. It's a shared space with seafood city so I'm sure you can sit at the tables there, but we just took our drinks to go. I didn't realize they have a lot of locations and are expanding even more now so I'm excited to have a closer location. I also like how this place is named after the Corolla. read more
Café 86 is an absolute gem for ube lovers! They have the best selection of ube-flavored desserts, from cheesecakes to brownies and even milk teas and milkshakes, and everything in between. If you're a fan of ube, this place will not disappoint. But what really stands out for me is their unique take on halo-halo - the Upside Down Halo-Halo. It's my favorite dessert here! The perfect blend of flavors and textures, it's a must-try. My husband and I went during the first week it opened in Vallejo and we were treated with not one but two free ube cheesecakes to try on top of everything else we ordered! Will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area and craving something sweet! Came here to specifically try the upside down halo-halo. It was so worth braving the 104 def F heat. It wasn't cheap but they didn't skimp on the ingredients. Well done, Cafe 86! The cashier (sorry didn't get his name) was cordial and friendly. He also asked if I wanted to sign up for their rewards program but I had to decline since we don't have a Cafe 86 in Maine. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience today. I sent my sister to place an order for me. A halo-halo and a cookie butter latte. My sister has never tried halo-halo before, so she didn't know what it was supposed to look like. She simply ran over to the café as a favor for me. What I received was nothing close to halo-halo, and the "cookie butter latte" had Oreos on top, which makes no sense. Neither drink matched what I ordered. I even tried calling the café to sort it out, but no one answered the phone, which just added to the frustration. This wasn't a small mistake, I ended up with two drinks I couldn't even enjoy. I'm attaching a photo, and yes it's melted because it's been sitting on my counter while I debated whether or not to write this review. That's how disappointed I was. read more
I wanted to try this place for a while & finally got the time to buy someone stuff from here. Located inside of Seafood City is a couple of stores and food & drink places. The service was quick & all the pastries are displayed in a case if your more a visual person & would like to see what their pastries looks like. The food I got was the cookie butter milkshake & the ube crack cheesecake. Cookie butter milkshake 5/5 Absolutely loved this one. The milkshake was creamy. On the bottom of the cup they put crush cookie pieces and the cookie taste has a nice sweetness to it. Like a chocolate snickerdoodle was blended into the milkshake. Ube crack cheesecake 5/5 The cheesecake is small but absolutely delicious & very addicting to eat. The cheesecake is more airy than dense. The pastry bread was crispy that does nicely with the cheesecake filling. read more

Cafe 86 has been on my list for the longest time and I happened to be in this area and was craving a halo halo. It is located inside Seafood City, not hard to find. Their prices are decent, cheaper than other halo halo stores I've looked at. We got the upside halo halo which is an ube based dessert with vanilla ice cream, jackfruit, flan, Frosted Flakes, red/green coconut jellies, and boba. I thought it was weird that there were Frosted Flakes but it's actually a really nice addition and adds crunch. Overall, it was really good and has a great ube flavor. Highly recommend and will definitely be back for more! read more

I was able to catch their first weekend open here in their new spot of Vallejo. Located just inside of SFC, sharing space with Grill City. Got to meet the owner (forgot his name) who was very sweet. I let him know I was showing my sister this place coz we have one already in Artesia. The owner says to me *oh, that's where I trained artesia location is nice*. So I let my sister order whatever she wanted. We shared the ube crinkle and it was sooo soft and chewy. Pop tarts is a new addition and those were actually pretty good. Told my sister that now there's one here, she can go anytime. Everything is good. No need for me to bring up items from SoCal to NorCal. Lol read more
