That's understandable--but it should have been communicated immediately, not after standing there for over 10 minutes with minimal acknowledgment. It wasn't the wait or the reservation policy that stood out--it was the lack of presence and basic hospitality. This was customer service 101--and it was missed. Because of that, I chose not to stay. I look forward to my morning coffee and every in between throughout my day.) So much so that we joke that I work there without me really working there.
