Arrived on Thursday around 12 and this place was slightly packed. ordered : (3/5) - earl grey matcha latte: I got this with oat milk and it tastes like Starbucks quality matcha! So if you're looking for a high quality matcha, this isn't it. But it does taste good! They have a nice earl grey syrup that sweetens up the matcha. I probably wouldn't order this again, it came out to 9.75 which is pretty more expensive than an avocado toast! The matcha was also lacking flavor and kinda chunky. I really enjoyed the earl grey addition tho! service: (4/5) The baristas made some good recommendations. However I found it really weird that the price of the drinks aren't posted on the menu on the wall nor on the printed menu. I'm not sure if that's something they still needed to work on? But I was really shocked at the price of my drink especially because there was no mentioning of added charges anywhere. vibe: (4/5) I do love the lighting in here! It would be a great spot to study, but the seat are honestly really uncomfortable. They have a nice long wood table in the middle. This place is located in a park, so its also great for families ! parking: (5/5) Small free parking lot! overall: This place is nice for students since it closes late! But it would be nice to have some transparency on the prices!
5 stars just for the location and atmosphere. My husband and I made a pitstop here on our way to his dad's home and it was very nice. The parking lot has a good amount of spaces and free. There's no complaints on my end. You order your drinks at the counter then decide if you want to sit inside or outside and the weather was so nice that we opted for the outdoor seating. Service was quick and friendly. Prices are reasonable.
I've been going to Journey's whenever I visit friends here! I love the natural lighting the enters the shop and the seating area is a perfect place to study or do some work. Ambiance gets 5 stars from me. As for taste and service, I like the sandwiches more than the drinks. The coffee flavors are creative but I like more natural and fuller coffee tastes. In the photo, I tried the banana matcha which has a bit of an artificial banana taste in the cold foam which masks the matcha flavor. It's a bit too sweet to my liking. However, I do really like the lavender latte which is my go to. The floral and coffee flavors complement each other so well!

I would sometimes even take my matcha and do a nice lap around the lake when the weather was nice. Journey Coffee has a few locations but the One Lake location was always my favorite. I've tried a few of their food and drinks and all were super satisfying. If I were to have ordered food, my go-to is their Sausage, Egg, and Cheddar Sandwich. It's always packed with flavor and a good size for a breakfast sandwich. When I went in today, I didn't even need to look at the menu because I knew that I had to get their Matcha Latte sweetened and with vanilla syrup. Not sure what they do exactly with their matcha but it's just so rich and creamy and not overly sweet so you can really taste the matcha flavor. Always a must stop when in the area!
Such a cute little coffee shop in the middle of a housing community. There is a lot of searing area to have a coffee & snack and work or just enjoy your coffee there. Staff was very friendly got our order and then order came out quickly. I like that they have seasonal drinks as well. If you don't like coffee they also have other drinks available. They also have pastries and snacks to choose from. Will definetly be back soon when in the area.

I ordered the matcha latte and it was absolutely perfect--smooth, well-balanced, and not too sweet. You could really taste the quality. My friend got an iced caramel macchiato, which was also super tasty, but they didn't ask if she wanted it sweetened. It came without sugar, and she didn't love that surprise. A quick heads-up would've made a difference. The space itself is cozy and inviting--perfect for catching up or getting some work done. Overall, a nice spot for a casual coffee break, and I'd definitely come back for another matcha!

Solid coffee shop right between Fairfield and Vacaville! They have vegan options for drinks and some vegan baked goods, but sell out pretty quickly. My go to is an iced oat milk latte and the lemon blueberry muffin. Or I try one of their seasonal drinks when it sounds good! I just always ask if the syrup has dairy or not to doublecheck. I wish they had more savory food vegan options but there is a vegan burger on the menu when they serve dinner. There's a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating and there's WiFi, so it's my go to place to get work done on the weekdays. On the weekends it gets pretty busy fast and can be harder to find seating.
The prettiest coffee shop with prettiest view! Can't believe this is tucked away in Fairfield. The parking lot is small but if you get there early, then there's no problem! There is no shortage of seating inside and outside, plus there is a beautiful trail to walk around the lake if you want to just take your coffee to go. The service was wonderful here to top it all off. I picked the Apple Chaider from their fall seasonal menu and loved it!! The cream top turned it into the most delicious apple cider. We also had their new chocolate scone which was amazing - not dry like a typical scone at all. It was rich but not too sweet, and so moist! Would definitely come back again if I was in the area, worth the little detour off the highway!

Coming all the way out to One Lake provides a tranquil atmosphere. The coffee and avocado toast were perfect! I really appreciated that. The bathrooms and table areas were clean. I appreciated that as well. The employees were nice and greeted us with a smile. That was so refreshing. Thank you! read more

I stopped by Journey Coffee by the lake, after work. It was on the way home. I really was feenin for a protein smoothie (specifically the Epic Journey smoothie). I was told by the gal at the register that they weren't serving smoothies (can't remember if she said for the evening or at all tofay). I was disappointed. I didn't want anything caffeinated. I can't drink any caffeine after 12pm or I won't be able to sleep. Not wanting to waste my time and leaving, I decided to try their seasonal drink: Graham Cracker S'mores latte (iced, with almond milk). I figure it's Friday, I'm off tomorrow...so what if I go to sleep at 3 am? LOL. Bring on the caffeine! After I paid, I went to the bathroom to kill time. After I came out, my drink was already on the counter! It was done quicker than expected! I had 4 people who ordered ahead of me..I was prepared to be waiting awhile. The Graham Cracker Smore Latte didn't taste like a graham cracker,but, I did enjoy it! It had a lot of cinnamon,which I loved. It tasted like your regular latte with almond milk at first. Then after a few sips, I decided to swirl my cup a bit. Boom! There goes some more flavor! I dunno, I think it tasted more like a pie than a graham cracker. This exceeded my expectations! This Journey Coffee location is not your typical coffee shop. It's a lake house (Ha! I sense a theme!!) by a lake in one of those newer housing communities. It's spacious, with lots of seats, and tall windows throughout the shop. No matter where you sit, you were treated to the view of the lake outside. There were a bunch of benches to sit outside. It was 100+ degrees outside, so, I sat inside by a window. Journey Coffee at One Lake was aesthetically pleasing with pleasant staff, and good coffee. The staff is very welcoming! Very chill, very relaxed environment. Journey Coffee is always busy everytime I stop by. There's always a good group of different ages and almost always packed. Great vibes overall. Music was good as well. Some opportunities for improvement: The avocado toast I had was okay. I waited 15-20 minutes for the order due to the business but when it arrived, I think the toast could've been more toasted (not crispy at all). In addition, the bathroom did not have any soap and stalls were out of toilet paper. read more

Such a beautiful Journeys location! I ordered my usual - Iced Graham Cracker Latte and Hand pie. Me and my friend's orders came fairly quicker than the usual Journey's wait at other locations! I loved the openness of the inside, a lot of natural sunlight shining indoors. Plenty of seats and a few comfy looking couches! Best part was the view of the lake! We took a nice walk around the lake which I enjoyed. Little play area for the kids and work out areas for sits ups and chin ups. Be careful for dog or bird poop on the walkway read more
Such a beautiful morning with a beautiful view! This place offers a variety of drinks as well as a variety of food. There is seating inside as well as out, and access to a walk around the man make "lake", for which the place got its name. Always great customer service here. read more

I would give this place a 3.5 stars as it's a nice place to enjoy your coffee and breakfast. It's by the man-made lake and newly built houses in Fairfield/Vacaville. There were a lot of people walking their dogs and it was overall busy on a Sunday. The coffee and food were pricey. My boyfriend and I ordered a crumble coffee cake, blueberry scone, lavender cold brew, and an affogato. I really liked my blueberry scone and my boyfriend liked his coffee cake, but I felt they both would've tasted better warm. I tried my bf's lavender cold brew (he didn't put cream in his coffee) and I thought it was ok. The affogato was also ok. I've had better espresso, but the cinnamon vanilla ice cream it comes with was good. Our total came out to $22 and some change for the 2 of us. I might come back to try other coffee and enjoy the view again. read more

On a "site visit" with my daughter and her family who will soon be moving into the area with the Air Force. She loves local coffee shops, and we went into Journey in Fairfield on our first day in town. What a fantastic experience. The breakfast, coffee, atmosphere, and service were absolutely perfect. The next day, we decided to go to the Journey at One Lake. Same experience in a gorgeous setting. Breakfast sandwiches were fresh, expertly prepared, and delicious. We had both English muffin sandwiches and wraps. On our last night in town, we decided to go back to the One Lake location for dinner because our flight leaves too early to catch breakfast before heading to the airport. We heard this location recently started serving dinner. We highly recommend it. I had the spicy guac burger with sweet potato fries. My daughter had the BLTA on a wrap with waffle fries, and my son-in-law had the chicken fingers with waffle fries. We also had lemonade. Everything was absolutely delicious! Plus, the staff is so helpful and friendly and the patio is fabulous. Definitely will be back at the earliest opportunity. read more

This coffee shop is such an awesome place to hang out with your friends or family. The concept of having a coffee shop thats built within the community/neighborhood. I love it. Yes we have our favorite coffee shops but if this was in my neighborhood I'd come to hang out. It's beautiful, there's lots of seating and you can enjoy the view of a lake. Food: You can expect coffee shop food items like pastries (scones, banana bread, cookies, etc). So much more I cannot list them all. I loved their huge salted chocolate chip cookie! And of course they have a variety of drink (coffee, tea, and more). Service: friendly service period. Ambiance: like I said previously it's beautiful. Just the lake view itself is enough! read more

This was my second visit to this location. The staff has always been friendly and helpful when I come to visit! Always smiling and ready to help. The coffee shop was full of patrons, some socializing and some working/studying on their laptops. There is plenty of seating available! We did have to sit at the community table since it was so busy inside! The panini I ordered was delicious and came out hot! We did have to wait a bit for it to be ready, but our drinks came out fast and got to get some conversation in before eating. If you're not in a rush, I'd definitely recommend this place! read more

Great service, warm ambiance, and great food. What more could you ask for? This is what I get every time I'm at Journey Coffee. I came in today looking for their super popular Breakfast Hand Pie. Every time I visit, they're always sold out. Today, I got lucky! I couldn't wait to try this Hand Pie that I've heard so much about. I opened up the silver wrapping paper, which unveiled the beautiful Breakfast Hand Pie underneath. The first bite was crispy, flaky, and buttery. The outer crust reminded me of a croissant, soft and crispy and flaky all at the same time. Inside the buttery crust was warm eggs, sausage, sharp cheddar, hash browns, and some salsa verde. This Hand Pie is everything you would desire in a breakfast sandwich. I love how they're doing this in a pastry style crust. Absolutely love it, and I'll be getting up early tomorrow to get another one! read more

How strong is the wifi?
Inside sometimes there is connectivity issues but more recently it has been working fine! Both inside and outside. There are many people with their laptops inside.
Any gluten-free food options?
Well, for starters, coffee. They also have some nice looking fruit and some delicious chocolate. I'm sure you'll find plenty of gluten free things to ingest.
