Very good coffee! I ordered a simple iced latte with Maple cold foam. Not too sweet, and the cold foam was so yummy. Good quality coffee and cream. Only down side: the wifi is horrible and you barely have any service. But, there is a lovely patio with a great view to enjoy! read more

Side note: someone needs to fix the location of this Yelp spot. Anyways, this place is absolutely gorgeous. It's located in a residential neighborhood. If I lived close by, you would see me going for a walk here, enjoying coffee while getting work done and eating a yummy pastry. The high ceilings and huge glass doors are everything. Vibes are immaculate, 10 out of 10. The coffee is great too. There's seating inside and outside. Service is quick and friendly! There's parking, free water and bathrooms available for customers. read more

One Lake Park is such a hidden gem in NorCal! Beautifully designed and super peaceful, great for a walk, picnic, or just unwinding by the water. The landscaping is modern but still cozy, with plenty of open space, seating, and a relaxing vibe that makes you want to stay a while. One of my favorite things? There's a Journey Coffee Co. right at the park! It's the perfect combo, grab a great cup of coffee or a smoothie and stroll around the lake. The café has a stylish, inviting vibe and the staff is always friendly. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this spot is worth a stop. Great for solo time, catching up with friends, or just soaking up some Northern California calm. read more

My family loves to go out and walk around the lake. It's beautiful! There are nice places to stop along the path. You can enjoy a seat, go down the slide, sit on swinging seat or play on the small playground. If your lucky you'll see someone out there with their remote control boat! read more

I had no idea this part of Fairfield existed! I would also recommended the name of this business be changed. The community is called One Lake, but the actual coffee shop is Journey. My mom and I ordered one of their fancy lattes. I got the banana foster and she got the peanut butter and chocolate. Both were only semi-sweet, which allowed us to still taste the coffee. We were impressed! The outside area has the lake where you can walk around (and it's pet friendly). There is also plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. read more

Loved loved this place. Such a beautiful coffee shop. Great service, with great views. It's clean and pretty. It's quiet busy though, a lot of people. We tried their food and their sandwiches are also very delicious, as well as their coffee. Highly recommend it. read more

I absolutely love One Lake, especially for Journey Coffee Co! It is such a beautiful area to grab coffee, sit with a friend, and enjoy a slow moment. This manmade lake is surrounded by a gorgeous housing community, and I love that there's a cemented path to walk around the entire thing. There's also a grassy area in front of the coffee shop, so I imagine it's a popular place to have picnics, activities, or hold events during the spring and summertime. This is probably my favorite Journey location, mainly for the beautiful scenery. But also because the service is always on point! I've always had such great interactions with the baristas here. As far as food, I usually grab an iced matcha latte and one of their breakfast wraps (the sauce in it is so good!). Highly, highly recommend making your way to this hidden gem in Fairfield! read more

One Lake Park is located in Fairfield off of One Lake Drive (One Lake Housing Development). There is a nice coffee shop (Journey Coffee Shop) where you can grab a coffee for your walk and breakfast, brunch or lunch after your walk. The loop around the park is about 0.9 miles (~15 or so minutes walk). Along the walking loop, there are various exercise stations and a playground. There is also a picnic area for picnics. It's a great place for walking, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc. read more

I love that this place is open at 7am. Great opportunity to get your favorite cup of coffee or breakfast before you take a walk around the lake. Or just to hang out and meet up with your friends for a catch up session! Ample seating areas indoor and outdoor. Clean location. Friendly baristas! I love the variety on their menu and the baked goods are always a great treat to take home. read more

One Lake Journey's is a vibe. Everything in here is about the community their building...man-made lake, new homes/condos...kinda in the middle of nowhere next to CalTran w/ folks commuting to the city. We've ordered food togo via door dash before...but first time inside and I can see why people just post here and study and chill here all day. Lots of students and group meetings to be had. Space is gorgeous and the lounge chairs are pretty comfy. We need a team meeting here...stat. Service was fast and the young lady who made our bevy's was super sweet and polite. We shall revisit soon... read more

My daughter brought me here after i arrived in town to visit. I asked to go to Chick-fil-A . I'm always open to new places. I ordered a bacon egg and Gouda and an iced house coffee with vanilla sweetener. This sandwich exceeded any expectations I had. The total sandwich was perfect. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of my sandwich before I dug inThe ambiance was nice. Lots of seating inside and out. A nice view of the lake also. Service was great too. read more

This review is for the entire community. Let's start with the coffee shop. As others have mentioned, it has a beautiful interior and a stunning view. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The food is overpriced for its quality and takes an unreasonably long time to arrive. The staff are slow and rude. I ordered a latte and requested it to be extra hot to avoid a lukewarm drink. After waiting for 20 minutes, my latte was barely warm, almost at room temperature. When I asked if they could make it hotter, the barista raised her voice and said, "THAT IS AS HOT AS WE CAN MAKE IT." I then asked if they could use a microwave, but she barked back, "WE DO NOT HAVE A MICROWAVE HERE." I do not recommend this coffee shop. Now, regarding the community itself: the lake is pleasant. The homes, whether condos or townhouses, are nice, but the HOA is extremely overbearing. They exercise excessive power and make living here unpleasant. (Think HOA sent from hell). There is also a significant mouse infestation all over the community (most likely the coffee shop too)t hat neither the HOA nor the builders are addressing. The HOA is quick to collect dues but does little to improve the community. I would not recommend buying, renting or eating here. read more

I LOVE coming here to study and grab a bite to eat. I do wish there was a suggestion box though so I don't have to leave this on their yelp page. I would recommend playing more instrumental music as there are many people who are studying their bibles. It's kind of distracting when all you hear is this. We gon' go all night We gon' light it up Like it's dynamite I think that it would make a big difference for a lot of people who are trying to work or encounter the Holy Spirit. read more

Very cute coffee shop in this area. I had the matcha with almond milk and a dash of honey for sweetener. I've had the matcha here twice now and unfortunately it has just not been the powerful earthy flavor I am used to with my matcha lattes. I did have a seat here to do some work which was comfy and cozy, however, it was very very loud so if you need a quiet area to focus, you may want to sit outside. The staff is warm and friendly though! read more

The service was very slow, food normally takes forever whenever I eat there. A little overpriced in my opinion? But food is good, Im just not a fan of how long it takes. (20-40 minutes) The scenery there was amazing, however the atmosphere was very nice I liked the inside of the place. Sometimes place is very neat and clean. Sometimes its FULL of dirt and stuff on the floor and unclean crumbs around the table. (If workers feel like cleaning I guess?) A friend of mine waited 30 minutes for JUST A SMOOTHIE. He said "The employees would put one thing in the blender and just would disappear or they would just walk to the back and not make his smoothie". It really depends on how the workers feel apparently, normally it takes them 20-30 minutes to make Waffle Fries, but it only took 15 minutes this time. ALSO something I really hate is that they would close the cafe/restaurant at 2 PM on Monday-Wednesday and most of the time teens are just dropped off from school at 3-4 PM and on a hot summer, they would want to purchase a refreshing drink, but they'd be met with a closed place. I've had this complaint from many people that I know about the Cafe. read more

I stopped by One Lake Friday evening for a walk. It's a beautiful park that circles around One Lake, with a housing community on the outer banks. There's little workout stations with pictures of how to perform an exercise. There were a few gray metal swings and colorful chairs. There's a sidewalk around the lake to go for a walk or a jog. You get beautiful views of the mountains in the far distance. I plan to come back at some point to go on another stroll around the lake. read more

Stopped by this location of Journeys a few times now. The location is very pretty with One Lake and the new housing community. Staff is friendly, however the food & coffee seem to miss the mark for me personally. Food does take awhile to prepare so not a quick stop. Coffee has a bland taste even when ordering a flavored latte. Wanted to be a huge fan of the matcha but there's something missing about it. Will be back for the location and hoping for more business to show up in this area to try out. read more

Kind of a bummer. Not from around here but was looking to grab a cup of coffee for my hour and a half commute. Business hours on Sunday say 8am to 6pm. Another patron was also approaching the business and mentioned this isn't the first time they were closed during regular hours. read more

Small man made lake in Fairfield! Great path around the water, plenty for adequate social distancing with turnouts and balconies to look over the water. Looked pretty shallow. Like maybe a foot or so with an eventual dropoff. Davis once had a lake like this. Right now it is surrounded by houses. The only structure around this lake is a Journey coffee. It also looked like one could bring a flotation device (kayak, canoe, etc.) and float around a bit. Even says you can on the signs around the lake. Walk around it a few times and grab a coffee for now. Pretty sure there will be mansions, one right next to the other, built soon. Okay, so maybe just big houses, not mansions. Maybe I'll try a stand up paddleboard there? read more

Amazing place to come have a picnic, run, work out, hang out, study, etc. it's so relaxing and beautiful. They have a cafe, but the food and drinks are overpriced and service is not the best. It looks like they're in the process of expanding and opening a boat club. Not sure where they'll fit all of that, but the future is bright here! And I'm excited for it to expand and grow into a bigger community. I will also add, people in this area are so friendly! read more

I would like to title this review "lunch with a view" It is beautiful out there! Is a great summer picnic spot. Food and service is great. The wraps me and my friend shared were delicious! I come here once in a while when I don't have what I need at home. Since it's next to my house, I walk over. The male workers are very nice and kind. They have some young men in there that seem new to the working world but are kind and it makes me want to spend my money there. The girls are not friendly at all. When you ask a question, they ask like you are bothering them. They give off " don't talk to me I'm working" vibes. They don't even smile, they just look at you blankly. It's really caused me to only go in if I need to now. Shame though, because I like patronizing the business. The location off of chadbourne is nice and everyone is SUPER friendly. read more

Ive been here many times and im satisfied maybe half the time. Their prices are really high and their stuff is okay. I love their banana bread and gf cookie but their matcha latte is okay. it's better to have it with ice but i had a hot matcha latte once and it looked and tasted like there was a pinch of matcha powder in it. for $8 i ordered basically a cup of oat milk. also their workers are usually nice, however i've had multiple times where i didn't tip (bc why would i nobody's serving me), and the workers attitude changed. they became cold and unfriendly and asking for a lid for my matcha was made to seem like a chore. other than that, the ambiance is great, and so in the general area. i'd return for the baked goods but other than that it's okay. read more

Any food that you order will take a minimum of 30 minutes. No matter what. We were told this after we had ordered. The drinks, as others have said, will also take a while but seem speedy in comparison. I got an iced lavender latte that ended up tasting just like a regular latte, as though no lavender syrup had been added. It was a decent iced latte however, just plain. My partner, her stepfather, and myself ordered sandwiches to eat outside on the back patio. My partner ordered a gluten free wrap listed on the menu, with no cheese. The cashier was very sweet and chatty and assured her that they had gluten free wraps in stock, gluten free was not an issue. More than 30 minutes later her wrap arrived in a flour tortilla, with cheese. I took it to the same cashier to get confirmation that it was flour. His face fell and he genuinely said "Oh...shoot. I'm sorry about that" I said that it was no big deal, it happens, but could we get one in a gluten free wrap? He said "of course! It will just take about forty minutes" I was shocked and then he typed it into the tablet and said "that will be $18" (originally it had cost $15ish, I suspect gluten free might cost extra) I didn't expect to be charged again and also didn't expect it to take 40 min when the place was pretty dead at two in the afternoon. I left the wrap at the counter and said "I'm gonna leave this here, and go ask her what she wants to do!" went out to ask my partner. She said oh well and to just keep the wrap they made and we'll send it home with her stepdad, she would eat when we got home. I went back in and the cashier said they had thrown the wrap away. Began to ring me up for another wrap. The cashier was nice so it was uncomfortable but I had to say "Could I please just have my money back?". He seemed surprised and it took a few minutes to find the transaction in the system to refund. Not the cashier/baristas fault, I think that this place is just not well equipped to serve food. I also noticed he was the only one working the front AND making all the drinks, and looked like one other person in the back kitchen so perhaps there isn't enough staff. read more

I'm leaving here so angry right now I brought in my own tea and wanted to get a breakfast burrito to eat because they don't carry the tea that I like I was told I cannot bring my drink in and was sent away Update* I got a message from someone on Facebook messenger from journeys, they didn't say who they even were and said they lack training there but again felt as though it was a ok thanks goodbye not trying to take any accountability type of reply. Like HELLO when someone is told to leave a business because they brought a tea from Starbucks in, maybe say here is a 5.00 gift card to come back in and try ours??? Or whatever ‍ read more

Food- We ordered sausage, cheddar and egg biscuit. It was scrumptious. The patty was so flavorful! We also had the apricot pop tart and chocolate pop tart! Absolutely delicious! The crust was flaky and it tasted fresh. The lavender latte was such a nice treat. It was perfectly balanced- just the right amount of lavender. Service- they were quite busy, so we had to wait about 10 mins for our food and coffee. But, it was so worth it! Ambiance- the place is big! There's a lot of chatter, but not too loud. I saw some people working on their laptops. I saw families with small kids there, too. There's a little bit of something for everyone! We took a walk around the lake after eating. It was a great day! read more

Took my two little ones (5 and 1) for a wagon ride around the lake. They loved it!!! Sprinklers were on and they enjoyed yelling at the geese and getting sprayed by the water. We went here to try their dine-in food. We got the burger (It's supposed to be a tall 2-patty burger but we requested to split the burger, so they gave us a single-patty burger each, since it's quite hard to cut the bread in 2). The burger was so juicy and tender and it comes with a heap of crunchy fries. The pan-seared chicken is very tasty and juicy. It has a pack of intense flavor. Comes with well-flavored mashed potato and veggies on the side. Can't believe a coffee house served awesome dinner menu. We had our Mocha coffee afterwards. It's a one-stop shop, if u think about it. Bonus part is, it's by the man-made lake hence gives a very quaint and relaxing ambience. The staff are friendly and attentive, especially when the coffee area is not that busy. We will definitely come back to try the steak. read more
